Designer Oscar De La Renta Slams Michelle Obama Mar 26th 2013, 22:32 The fashionable First Lady has never worn a look from the designer, and now he’s being very vocal, saying he doesn’t find Mrs. Obama influential when it comes to fashion. Michelle Obama, 48, is admired worldwide for her fantastic sense of style. She consistently wins a spot on our best dressed lists, but there is one designer in particular who is not too keen on her fashion sense. Designer Oscar de la Renta, 80, is no stranger to dressing First Families, but Michelle has yet to be included in his work. The designer is clearly not thrilled! More On The Oscar de la Renta Michelle Obama Diss: Oscar de la Renta has been popular with many past first ladies, including Betty Ford, Nancy Reagan, 91, Laura Bush, 66, and Hillary Clinton, 65. However, of our current first lady, he states, “It is a relation that began poorly and I think it will end the same way.” Looks like Michelle is on the outs in his book! Though de la Renta does seem a bit bitter about their lack of business relations, he promises that he is not worried about dressing Michelle, because nowadays, it’s up to ordinary women too set the trends as opposed to celebrities. He explains, “an anonymous woman on the street is the woman who influences fashion today, not a movie star or a first lady.” Despite this justification, de la Renta was one of very few to make a direct attack in dissing the cardigan that Michelle wore to meet Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh at Buckingham Palace in 2009 — it looks like this fashion feud has been years in the making! Perhaps if Mrs. Obama changes her ways and decides to sport a de la Renta label, the designer will have a change of heart. Kendall Jenner 'I'm Constantly Criticised For Being Too Skinny' Mar 26th 2013, 21:00 The teen shows off a very leggy look for the mag, and inside she fights back against claims that she’s too thin, admitting that the accusations are hurtful. 17-year-old Kendall Jenner landed on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia and she looks so gorgeous! The cover of Bazaar is a huge feat for a mere teen, but the Jenner sis looks like she was born to model. Inside the mag, however, she reveals that looking like a natural supermodel isn’t always easy. Kendall is featured on the cover giving the camera a mature, sultry look while donning a black and white striped Marc Jacobs maxi dress. Smoky eyes and tousled hair make the young reality star look years beyond her age, but she still gave off a flawless appearance. Along with a white miniskirt, a black Gucci gown, and a variety of other top-notch ensembles, photographer, Russell James, 52, dressed Kendall in a skin-toned leotard covered by only an animal print Roberto Cavalli blazer. The bodysuit revealed the teen’s long, very slender legs and fragile physique. While most girls dream of being tall and thin with endless legs, Kendall reveals that she doesn’t feel so fortunate. “I’m constantly criticised for being too skinny,” she explains. “I'm trying to gain weight but my body won't let it happen. What people don’t understand is that calling someone too skinny is the same as calling someone too fat, it’s not a nice feeling.” Despite her self-consciousness, Kendall looks as confident as ever showing off her tiny frame and accentuating her height in very tall stilettos. If nothing else, her cover shoot definitely brought her up to speed in terms of making her more than just ‘the Kardashian’s little sister.’ “I'm trying my best with what I want to do, which is modeling. I think I'm on my own career path and I don't really care what other people have to say about me being in the spotlight of my sisters. I'm just doing my own thing,” she says. If you thought the Pretty Little Liars spin-off Ravenswood was the only big news ABC Family had planned for March 26, you’ve seriously underestimated the network. Along with that mind-blowing announcement, it was also revealed that Pretty Little Liars has been renewed for a fifth season! That’s right, a fifth season.
