Single Taylor is allegedly ‘desperate’ to meet Prince Harry when he visits the United States in May, because she considers him a huge ‘step up’ from Conor Kennedy! Taylor Swift is moving on from Conor Kennedy and Harry Styles! The country cutie is aiming high and has decided that she wants to date Prince Harry! The hot royal, 28, is visiting the United States this May and Taylor, 23, has got intentions. The star is “desperate” to meet the Prince, because she loves his “ginger hair and English accent,” and she thinks he would be an improvement on her ex’s! Taylor Swift Wants To Date Harry Styles Harry is set to visit the United States next month, and Taylor wants to be one of the many beautiful women — including Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Vanessa Hudgens and Scarlett Johansson — who will get to meet him. "Taylor's desperate to get her name added on to the VIP lists of stars being lined up to meet Harry. She loves everything about him — especially his ginger hair and English accent,” a source tells The Sun. And Taylor sees Harry as the ultimate catch! Kevin Ware May Lose Scholarship After Horrific Leg Injury Dec 5th 2001, 00:00 During the March 31 Louisville vs. Duke March Madness game, Kevin suffered one of the biggest sports injuries ever caught on camera! Now a new report claims that he could lose his scholarship! Kevin Ware had his first surgery to repair his horribly broken right leg on April 1. But in the midst of this tragedy, and having to most likely take a year off from basketball to recover, the Louisville Sophomore may lose his scholarship. Kevin Ware May Lose His Scholarship Deadspin is reporting that the Georgia native was most likely on scholarship, since he was “highly recruited” out of college. But even though the NCAA has insurance to cover players when they have “catastrophic” injuries like Kevin’s, there’s no guarantee that his scholarship will be renewed for his junior year. Deadspin writes: “If he is on a yearly scholarship, why would Louisville renew it for his Junior year if it’s clear he won’t play? If he is not renewed could he then afford to attend classes?—you know, those benefits student athletes receive in return for their service. Bad PR and future difficulty recruiting likely serve as deterrents for such an outcome, especially for this specific injury since it happened on such a national stage.” Kevin’s Shocking Injury We told you that Kevin landed on his right leg wrong, and that’s when his bone broke through the skin. Louisville coach Rick Pitino was fighting back tears and Kevin’s teammates were using their jersey’s to hide their faces. The team went on to win 85-63, making it to the Final Four. Chris Brown Previews 'Fine China' On 'Today' Show Apr 1st 2013, 12:55 Chris surprised us all when he came out of the ‘Today’ show crowd and started a flash mob to his newest single, ‘Fine China!’ Read on to watch the amazing video! We were all waiting for Chris Brown to officially release “Fine China” at 9 AM on MTV, but he decided to jump the gun and break out the song — and a flash mob — on Today! Chris Brown’s ‘Fine China’ Flash Mob Surprises Everyone! Chris and about 40 dancers in street clothes emerged from the Today show crowd and gave viewers an awesome show. Chris, looking great in a peace sign-covered sweatshirt and a backwards cap, appeared to be having so much fun as the crowd went wild. Speaking of going wild, Matt Lauer and Savanna Guthrie looked like they were having the best time out of anyone! Chris and his dancers boogied to “Fine China,” his first single off his upcoming album, X, which he had promised to release later today on Apr. 1. But he’s never one to stick to a plan, and after all it is April Fool’s Day! We’re thrilled that Chris decided to mix things up, because this was a once in a lifetime moment. The song is smooth R&B with a flavor of old school groove a la Prince and Michael Jackson. We only got a snippet of the song but we definitely liked what we heard! Lea Michele and Cory Monteith have an extremely strong relationship, so when he checked into a rehab facility on Mar. 31, Lea was quick to show her support. Lea Michele Supports Cory Monteith Through Substance Abuse Struggles “I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this,” Lea told People. “I am grateful and proud he made this decision.” What a tough thing to do — Lea is being totally selfless. What a recovering addict like Cory needs as he starts his road to rehabilitation is unconditional love, free of judgment. That’s what Lea is giving him. A lesser person might hold Cory’s substance problems against him and let them drag the relationship down, but Lea is proving that she truly loves Cory and will be there for him no matter what. Cory Monteith Checks Into Rehab On Sunday night, Mar. 31, Cory’s rep released a statement confirming that he was committed to getting sober. "Cory Monteith has voluntarily admitted himself into a treatment facility for substance addiction," the rep said. "He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery." Cory has had a long troubled past with substance abuse. In 2011, he told Parade magazine, "I was out of control," Cory said. "[I used] anything and everything, as much as possible. I had a serious problem." “I’m lucky to be alive,” the Glee star added. Substance addiction is a constant struggle, but with Lea at his side, Cory clearly has the love and support he will need as he works towards recovery. Kevin Ware Has Surgery To Repair Badly Broken Leg Apr 1st 2013, 11:42 After Kevin’s tragic and horrific injury during the Louisville-Duke basketball game, here’s a little good news. Early on Monday morning, Apr. 1, Kevin successfully made it through surgery and was able to celebrate his team’s win. Kevin Ware is the definition of a survivor. After breaking his leg in what may be the worst sports injury ever shown on national television, he has been nothing but positive and inspirational. Coming out of surgery on Apr. 1, he was finally able to rest and relish his Louisville team making it to the Final Four. Kevin Ware Holds The Trophy After Surgery A touching picture posted on Kevin’s Facebook fanpage shows the injured basketball star laying in his hospital bed post-surgery, clutching his team’s Final Four trophy. “Surgery went well, kevin holds the trophy,” read the caption. How emotional! After Kevin’s right leg snapped in two different places during Louisville’s game against Duke University, his teammates broke down. Players fell to their knees and used their jerseys to shield their eyes. Even coach Rick Pitino couldn’t fight back his tears. But of all people, it was Kevin who lifted everyone up. Kevin Ware Turns Injury Into Inspiration For Louisville "All he kept saying – and remember the bone is six inches out of his leg — and all he's yelling is 'win the game, win the game.' I've never seen that in my life,” Rick said after the game. Kevin forced his teammates to turn his ghastly injury into a rallying cry, and instead of breaking down and losing the game, Louisville went on to dominate the rest of the game, winning 85-63. His coach confirmed that Kevin would be out for at least a year, but with a successful surgery already in the books and Kevin’s unbelievable fortitude, expect to see him back on the court as soon as he can get out there. Cory Monteith: 'Glee' Star Checks Into Rehab Apr 1st 2013, 11:07 After a difficult battle with substance abuse, Cory has officially made the first step towards treating his addiction. Keep reading for more details! The first step to recovery is recognizing you have a problem. Cory Monteith, 30, has made that first step. In a statement released on Sunday, Mar. 31, the Glee star’s rep confirmed that the he has checked into a rehab facility. “Cory Monteith has voluntarily admitted himself into a treatment facility for substance addiction,” the rep said. “He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery.” Cory Monteith’s Continued Struggle With Substance Abuse This, of course, is not Cory’s first trip to rehab. In an interview with Parade magazine in 2011, the star revealed that he was very troubled during his teen years, stealing money to support his drug habit. “I was out of control,” Cory said. “[I used] anything and everything, as much as possible. I had a serious problem.” Cory’s mother finally staged an intervention with his friends when he was 19. “That’s when I first went to rehab,” he said, though he also admitted that his sobriety didn’t last long the first time: “I did the stint but then went back to doing exactly what I left off doing.” Finally, after getting caught stealing “a significant amount of money from a family member,” Cory committed to getting clean. “I’m lucky to be alive,” Cory admitted in the interview. Substance addiction is an extremely difficult thing to kick, as Cory’s trip back to rehab proves. But the important thing is that he’s making an effort to get clean.
