Pilot Scoop: House's Odette Annable and The River's Bruce Greenwood Head for ABC's Venice Feb 22nd 2013, 23:30 Odette Annable and Bruce Greenwood are Venice bound. Both actors have joined the ABC drama pilot from Without a Trace's Byron Balasco, TVLine has learned. Annable will play Sophie and Greenwood will play Gordy Nance, the powerful head of one of the families. (The L Word‘s Jennifer Beals plays the matriarch of the other clan.) Annable’s TV credits include House, Brothers & Sisters and Breaking In. Greenwood has had roles on The River, St. Elsewhere and Knots Landing, among other series. Looks like Penelope Scotland Disick is ‘keeping up with the Kardashians’ by sporting a mini Balenciaga bag! At such a young age, it’s a bit much for Penelope to be carrying around such a high-cost accessory, which she was given by her pregnant Aunty Kim Kardashian, 32. Now, Kim clearly isn’t low on cash, but buying her baby niece this bag seems a bit over-the-top. Since Maci is a motivational speaker and role model, do you think the pic is irresponsible? Maci Bookout, 21, has made the most of her fame from the MTV series Teen Mom. After the show wrapped in August, she has been working as a motivational speaker at colleges to detail her struggles as a teen mom. She also hosted some of the Teen Mom 2 after shows, and is studying journalism at Chattanooga State Community College. But her position as a role model may have been compromised when she was snapped in a controversial pic allegedly chugging beer with some friends! Fans Speak Out On Maci Bookout’s Twitpic Even though Maci is legally allowed to drink — and Bud Light in a 40-ounce bottle is a fine choice — some fans are up in arms that the ambitious mom to Bentley, 4, is preaching about being responsible and working hard while being featured in party photos that are posted to the Internet. “STRUGGLING teen mom? lmao. Naw dumb b***h ain’t struggling and shes not a ‘teen’ anymore. Now all she does is party and no matter what Bentley will be fine since Maci and Ryan come from good families,” Craig Delgado wrote on Sulia. “I just think it’s kinda sad that she can do whatever she wants but when Jenelle [Evans] does ANYTHING, every one chews her a** about it!” another user Taylor McGuire wrote. But others were sympathetic to the Teen Mom alum, and don’t think it’s a huge deal. “She’s a successful 21 year old mother, Who cares if she drinks? TVLine has learned that Harper is joining the USA Network drama for Season 4 in the series regular role of Calder Michaels, an intelligent, charismatic and slightly cocky CIA station chief based in Latin America who plots his way into a bigger position in D.C. In his quest for greater power, Michaels will attempt to make Annie and Auggie his allies, though his actions will cause the pair to question his intentions. Feb 22nd 2013, 17:01 Two of NBC’s most awkward princesses said ‘I do’ to their equally awkward princes this season — but who dressed best? “Normal” isn’t a word I would use to describe either of NBC’s comedy queens — Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) on Parks & Recreation and Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) on the late-great 30 Rock — so I certainly wouldn’t expect either of them to sport a normal dress on their wedding day. We saw Liz tie the knot earlier this season, and on the Feb. 21 episode of Parks & Rec, we got to see Leslie swap vows with Ben (Adam Scott). Which of their unconventional get-ups did you like better? Leslie Knope’s Wedding Dress On ‘Parks & Recreation’ Because Leslie and Ben’s wedding happened last-minute, she didn’t have a lot of time to plan — and that included shopping for a dress — so she tasked Ann (Rashida Jones) with whipping up the perfect gown. “I was thinking the sensuality of Eleanor Roosevelt combined with the animal magnetism of Leslie Stahl,” she told Ann, which is exactly what she got. The finished product was a dress made from all the “meaningful bills, pictures, documents and memos” from Leslie’s career, and she literally couldn’t have been more thrilled with it. “It is the most beautiful object I’ve ever seen,” Leslie proclaimed. “It is the Ann Perkins of dresses. It is amazing.” Liz Lemon’s Wedding Dress On ’30 Rock’ Arguably even weirder than Leslie’s newspaper dress was the Princess Leia-style dress Liz wore to her own nuptials in late 2012. Actually, scratch that, it wasn’t a Princess Leia-style dress; it was just a straight-up Princess Leia costume. The last time we saw Liz in all her Star Wars glory was when she tried to crazy her way out of jury duty back in 2008, which totally worked. But as a wedding dress? Once again, it only worked because of the fine lady wearing it.
