In the wake of allegations that Chris falsified his community service records, his attorney is lashing out a prosecutors says they have ‘completely lost their minds.’ Read on for details!

Chris Brown‘s attorney, Mark Geragos, is furious at Los Angeles County prosecutors for alleging Chris, 23, violated his probation by lying to the courts and faking the number of hours of court-ordered community labor he actually served in Virginia.

Mark spoke to The Los Angeles Times on Feb. 5 and said he’s encouraging the Richmond Virginia Police Department to “take legal action against the Los Angeles County district attorney.”

“Apparently the district attorney’s office has completely lost their minds,” Mark told the publication. “They are making scurrilous, libelous and defamatory statements and apparently have lost their ability to read their own reports.”

Chris Brown’s Probation May Be Revoked

As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, the Los Angeles County District Attorney filed legal documents suggesting the R&B artist violated his probation by turning in doctored community service records.

The documents declare Chris lied about fulfilling his community service hours stemming from the Rihanna assault case.

"Entertainer Chris Brown failed to provide 'credible, competent or verifiable evidence' that he completed his court-ordered community labor,”  the Los Angeles District Attorney told HollywoodLife.com. “[We] asked the court to order Brown to fulfill his obligation in Los Angeles County."

Back on September 14, 2012, Richmond’s Chief of Police Bryan T. Norwood reportedly wrote the judge a letter saying that Chris successfully completed 202 days of community service — but he was only sentenced to complete 180 days on August 25, 2009, as part of a five-year probationary sentence for assault.

Whatever the case may be, it’s clear that Chris’ legal troubles are far from over.

Sound off, HollywoodLifers. Do you think Chris fabricated his community service hours?
