Jennifer Lawrence, 22, turned heads at the Vanity Fair, Barney’s New York and The Weinstein Company Celebration of Silver Linings Playbook held at The Glenholme School in LA on Feb 20. She strutted about in a mod new look that strayed from her usual safely elegant style. There’s no doubt that she wanted to look good at the event for her newest film, but was this trendy look the way to go?
The up and coming movie star donned a Roland Mouret Spring 2013 black and white dress on the red carpet. The bi-color piece flattered Jennifer’s curvy body and the folded features definitely did her justice. An asymmetrical neckline added fun, chic detail to the strapless dress finishing off a look that was unique to say the least. This celeb has been known to show a little leg, so we’re loving the subtle central slit up the skirt of the dress!
J.Law topped off her look with a dashing pair of emerald earrings that added a much needed pop of color to the ensemble. Her Guiseppe Zanotti ankle strap sandals were an appropriate choice for the avant-garde get-up. If nothing else, her wardrobe choice made her look a bit older than usual.
