No one comes to Storybrooke by accident, and now, we know what Neal’s fiancée has been hiding!

The March 24 episode of Once Upon A Time was all about August (Eion Bailey), who’s apparently been living in the woods this whole time. When the curse was lifted, he gained the ability to move, but he’s still fully wooden. Of course, that revelation was nothing compared to what we learned about Neal’s (Michael Raymond-James) fiancée Tamara.

It turns out she’s the one Owen has been calling with information about Storybrooke! Tamara first encountered August in China in 2011, when he was meeting with a witch doctor to “cure” his wooden leg. When they met up again in the present day, Tamara tried to force him out of town with promises of the cure back in her New York City apartment.

Instead, he decided to go all Pinocchio on her. Because August stood up to Tamara and sacrificed himself to save the people of Storybrooke, Mother Superior was able to change him back into a real boy and prevent him from dying — again.

Is Snow Destined For Darkness?

Just as Regina (Lana Parrilla) predicted, we’re started to get glimpses of Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) embracing her dark side — even if she’s doing so unwillingly. When Marco revealed the wardrobe that sent Emma (Jennifer Morrison) to Storybrooke actually had enough power to transport two people, and that he chose to send August instead of Snow, she struck him.

Snow also confessed to Charming (Josh Dallas) that she confronted Regina, and discovered her heart was blackening. He tried to tell her everything would be OK, but I’m not totally convinced.

Will Emma & Neal Get Together Again?

When Snow discovered August hiding in the woods, he seemed excited when he thought Emma and Neal had gotten back together, but we still don’t know why. Could their relationship be the key to all of Storybrooke’s problems?

What did you think of this episode, HollywoodLifers? Is Snow destined to become evil? Is there more to Tamara we still don’t know? And how hard are you shipping Neal and Emma? Drop me a comment with your thoughts and theories!
