Authorities are seeking the public’s help. They will reportedly release photos of potential suspects on April 18, in hopes of identifying the men in question.

A new set of photos from the Boston Marathon were revealed on April 18, showcasing two men mysteriously carrying bags in one image, and then not in another. Authorities are allegedly seeking the identity of those two men as well as others who could be potential suspects in the horrific bombings on April 15. They’ll release a full set of photos on April 18, hoping that the public may help in identifying the potential perpetrators.

Boston Suspect Photos — Authorities Releasing Pics

Two suspects were reportedly seen separately on videotape — one at each of the two bombing sites. An anonymous law-enforcement official told The Boston Globe that the clearest images come from a surveillance camera on the same side of Boylston Street as the explosions, not the Lord & Taylor surveillance camera that was reported on April 17.

On April 17, it was reported that a bomber was seen on a Lord & Taylor surveillance video, which led to a report that a suspect was in custody, was under arrest and was heading to US District Court in South Boston. Unfortunately, it was miscommunication and no suspect was yet in custody.

The media lined up outside the federal courthouse, expecting to see the suspect brought in for an initial appearance. However, that never happened.

Authorities are now hoping that these new photos will lead them to those who are guilty.

Boston Bombings Kill 3 & Injure At Least 183

There were two massive explosions at 2:50 pm on April 15, near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. About 183 people were injured and three were killed, including an 8-year-old boy.

President Obama is scheduled to visit Boston on April 18.
