Selena Gomez, 20, showed off a super sultry side of herself that we’ve never seen before in her new music video for “Come & Get It”! The pop singer unveiled her latest video on MTV on May 7 at 7:53 p.m. EST. ”I honestly feel like it’s the best video I’ve done,” Selena told fans before the video premiered.
Selena Gomez Debuts Music Video For ‘Come & Get It’
In the video, Selena battles the elements taking on earth, fire, and water. The singer seductively danced in a revealing black outfit in a field of flowers. She fought fire in a red hot outfit dancing in a group around the fire. The singer also channeled her inner mermaid by gracefully swimming, and looking absolutely stunning while doing it!
This video was so sexy, everybody is going to want to “come and get it”!
Selena Gomez: Controversy Over Wearing A Bindi
In the video, Selena wears a Bindi, a religious forehead decoration. This isn’t the first time Selena has worn the religious symbol, and the singer’s wardrobe decision has become quite controversial. She’s been asked to apologize by the Universal Society of Hinduism. Hindu statesman,Rajan Zed, told PerezHilton.com:
"The Bindi on the forehead is an ancient tradition in Hinduism and has religious significance. It is also sometimes referred to as the third eye and the flame, and it is an auspicious religious and spiritual symbol… It is not meant to be thrown around loosely for seductive effects or as a fashion accessory aiming at mercantile greed. Selena should apologise and then she should get acquainted with the basics of world religions."
