Instead of plastering their new baby girl Everly Tatum on magazine covers everywhere, Channing Tatum, 33, and wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum, 32, took an unconventional route, choosing instead to post their first family picture on the actor’s Facebook page!

It was a very sweet Father’s Day for Channing on June 16, because the actor celebrated for the first time as a new dad just two weeks after welcoming his baby girl. He decided to spread the love, posting the new family’s very first family portrait for all of his fans on his Facebook page. The adorable pic showed
The actor captioned the sweet pic of himself cradling the little one, with Jenna gazing lovingly at her baby girl, “First Father’s Day with my girls.”
But why did Channing choose to post the pic himself? He told ET Canada:
We didn’t want to go through a tabloid — we just wanted to let it out so paparazzi would stop trying to hound us. You know, here it is, that’s it. Now, let us be.
The decision should not come as a surprise, as the couple were photographed constantly throughout the pregnancy, even in London, where they moved for Channing to film his latest movie Jupiter Ascending.
Channing and Jenna: Adjusting to Parenthood
Life with a month-old baby has proven to be quite tiring for the new parents. but Chan remains supportive of his wife, saying:
[Jenna's] tired. Those first few months, it’s just ridiculous, just [taxing]. All I can really do is just sit there and change diapers… and get them food. Whatever they want.
The difficult first weeks aren’t going to stop the couple from expanding their family – and soon!- though! “We could possibly have some Irish twins, I don’t know,” Channing jokes.
