The Teen Mom-turned-porn star entered a guilty plea in court on June 6 for her DUI case, changing her original plea of not guilty from weeks prior. As part of her deal, Farrah has to pay a fine, and can’t have a drop of booze for six months!
Farrah Abraham, 22, has officially pleaded guilty in her DUI case stemming from an arrest on St. Patrick’s Day in Nebraska. The former Teen Mom opted for the guilty plea, and avoided jail time for her offense.
Farrah Abraham Guilty In DUI Case
The single mom pleaded guilty in court on June 6, according to TMZ, and was sentenced for six months of probation instead of jail time. She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, and had to install a device in her car ignition, which will require her to submit a breathalyzer test before her car will start.
Farrah’s plea deal means she won’t be held behind bars, but she was ordered by the judge to not consume any alcohol during her probation.
Farrah Abraham’s DUI Arrest — Blood Alcohol Twice The Legal Limit
The 21-year-old was pulled over in the early morning of March 19 when she was driving and made a wide turn — almost hitting a police car, TMZ reported.
Although she avoided colliding with the police cruiser, Farrah was reportedly pulled over and given a field sobriety test by police, which she reportedly failed miserably. She was also given a breathalyzer test and blew a .147 — nearly twice the legal limit of .08 in Nebraska, according to TMZ.
Farrah originally pleaded not guilty to the charges, and said she was “sick” instead of drunk the night of her DUI arrest. But when she was faced with being thrown in the slammer, it looked like Backdoor Teen Mom changed her tune.
