Kid Rock is mean! The singer slammed Justin in a new interview by comparing him to none other than Vanilla Ice, and says he is ‘facing a long ride down.’
According to Kid Rock, Justin Bieber and Vanilla Ice have more in common than just singing the lyric “baby” over and over again. In an interview with Howard Stern on June 19, the rockstar said Justin is just like Vanilla Ice, and when Howard pointed out that Vanilla Ice was a one-hit-wonder, Kid then said that Justin has never even had a hit. Yikes!
Kid Rock Disses Justin Bieber To Howard Stern
Kid was on The Howard Stern Show to promote his new $20 concert tour, and he couldn’t resist dissing Justin.
“Tell me if this is wrong,” Kid said to Howard, “Justin Bieber [is] 100 percent like watching Vanilla Ice all over again. It’s exactly the same.”
Those are cutting words! Howard pointed out that Vanilla Ice was a one hit wonder, and Kid replied, ”As soon as Bieber has a hit, he’ll be like Vanilla Ice, then.”
Oh snap! I doubt Justin will take these remarks too seriously, considering he has sold a lot more albums than Kid Rock.
“The kid’s young, he’s got some money, he’s got the world in his hands, it’s just kind of sad to see him go down this trajectory,” continued Kid. “It’s going to be a very long ride down. We all know the story. I kind of feel for the kid, to be honest with you.”
And Howard agreed! ”He’s screwing up,” he replied.
Kid Rock better watch out for all the Beliebers!
Jon Bon Jovi also has some choice words for the teen pop star, as like Kid, he thinks Justin is too caught up with fame.
Speaking about Justin constantly arriving late for shows, he said:
Every generation has guys that do that, none of that is new. They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives – or in that kid’s case, 80 minutes of their lives.
Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They won’t have you back. Then it just becomes a cliche. It’s really not cool – you’re an a**hole. Go to f**kin’ work!
