Rachel Uchitel never wanted to get divorced, again. Rachel, 38, and Matt Hahn, 27, married in 2011 and together they have a one-year-old daughter Wyatt Hahn. But despite Matt filing for divorce on June 10 citing “cruel and inhumane” treatment while married to Rachel, HollywoodLife.com can tell Rachel didn’t want to throw in the towel.
Rachel & Matt Went Through Marriage Counseling
HollywoodLife.com spoke with an insider close to the couple who tells us that Rachel wanted to save their marriage.
“Rachel and Matt had marriage counseling in the past,” a source tells us. “Rachel tried to work it out, she didn’t want to be divorced. She truly believes in love and marriage.”
The insider also told us that Rachel had no idea that Matt would accuse her of inhuman treatment. We can also tell you that Rachel was just at our VH1 Gossip Table party in NYC and she and Matt seemed very happy together.
Rachel’s statement to the press definitely left everyone shocked!
“Rachel Uchitel is ending her marriage of less than two years to insurance executive and former Penn State fullback Matt Hahn. The couple have a one-year-old daughter, Wyatt Lily, together. It is Ms. Uchitel's goal to resolve this action amicably, quickly and quietly and not in the media. No further details of the action are being released at this time by Ms. Uchitel.”
Our insider also added that Matt moved out of the apartment and Rachel has no plans of leaving NYC. We’ll keep you posted as the story develops.
