Stacy Keibler and George Clooney had a heart-to-heart and decided to end their romance. Stacy and George reportedly broke up several weeks ago but still talk every day and plan to remain friends.
George Clooney & Stacy Keibler Break Up
The report from People magazine claims that Stacy and George talked about their future and they realized that they want totally different things. Stacy says she wants to get married and have children, while George does not. A source spoke out to the magazine to provide some insight into what went wrong.
“Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family someday. She knows where George stands on that. They talked and they quietly stopped being a couple several weeks ago.”
But although they broke up, the couple plan to stay friends.
“They talk every day,” the source says. “They were friends before they started dating and they’ll be friends after. It was a friendly [breakup].”
George & Stacy Spent Lots Of Time Apart
The couple were last seen together in March in Berlin but since then they’ve both been traveling separately. Stacy recently said: “My schedule is keeping me pretty busy until the show airs and then hopefully I’ll get the chance to go to Europe.”
The source echoed Stacy’s sentiments about their very different schedules.
“They haven’t seen each other in a while and they’ve both been working so much, so in recent months, they’ve started growing apart.”
The couple has been the subject of break up rumors for the past year. Although George doesn’t seem like the marrying type, he was married to Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993. He famously said he would never marry again. He also dated model Lisa Snowdon, reality TV star Sarah Larson and Italian model and TV host Elisabetta Canalis.
