Kate and Prince William are so lucky! They’re reportedly building a flat for Kate’s parents in Kensington Palace, so Carole can help raise Prince George, and they have many, many reasons to be grateful that Carole is close by!

Even though Kate Middleton’s parents have their own apartment less than two miles away from Kensington Palace, Carole and Michael Middleton are having a suite built for them on the premises, so that they can help take care of Prince George. And Prince William is reportedly “very pleased” with the idea — so sweet!

Kate Middleton’s Mom Will Be Live-In Nanny — How She’ll Help Raise Prince George

Wow — Kate certainly found herself a winner. Prince William is allegedly ecstatic over the idea of having his in-laws move in. And this move will help the couple in so many ways.

Carole will be close by at all times, and there will be someone trusted around the baby at all times. Plus, Carole and Prince George have made a  great bond already since Kate has been staying at her parent’s home since George’s birth. And rumor has it that Carole is one of the few who can get Prince George to fall asleep. (We’d certainly keep her around too!)

HollywoodLife.com previously reported that Carole was on hand to help look after Prince George during the first few weeks of his life, and this move will likely make her role as George’s “nanny” more permanent.

Inside The Renovation

Kate and Prince William’s lavish apartment, which currently has 21 rooms, is reportedly undergoing a $1 million renovation, Daily Mail reports.

The renovation, reportedly for Carole and Michael, will allegedly comprise two bedrooms, a bathroom, a sitting room and a dining area. The rooms will give them additional privacy and security when they wish to visit their first grandson.

“Separate living space is being made available for Carole and Michael Middleton within Kensington Palace for when they come to stay,” a source familiar  with the new layout of the Palace apartment tells Daily Mail. “The guest area will allow Carole and Michael to be near Kate whenever possible. William is really pleased they will be close by – he really is behind the idea.”

Prince William & Kate Middleton: Going Against Royal Tradition

The Duke and Duchess's decision to allow Carole to stay at their home is the latest in a series of groundbreaking moves made by the couple, who appear to be determined to not let Royal tradition dictate how they raise their family!

We say good for them!
