The ‘Teen Mom’ stars made the tough decision to put their daughter Carly up for adoption four years ago — and thanks to their open adoption, they are still able to be a part of her life. The couple got to share Labor Day Weekend with their growing girl — and they were simply overcome with emotion.
Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra got a rare visit with their daughter Carly. The engaged couple shared Sept. 1 and 2 with their biological daughter, and made the most of their moments together by going to the zoo and bonding together. Tyler was especially emotional about the opportunity to spend time with his little girl again, sharing on Twitter that playing with his daughter was the “highlight of [his] life.”
Tyler Baltierra & Catelynn Lowell Spend Time With Daughter Carly
In 2009, Tyler and Catelynn made the major decision to put their own daughter, Carly, up for adoption. They saw her for the family’s yearly visit with her adoptive parents Brandon and Theresa Davis — and their little girl is already 4 years old! The young parents were able to see their biological daughter for a rare visit, and Tyler was especially touched by the experience. He took to Twitter to share details of his time with his daughter.
“Spending all day at the Zoo with Carly #amazing” Tyler tweeted on Sept. 2. ”It’s always surreal seeing her live the life me & @CatelynnLowell chose for her. If anyone deserves that life it’s that Angel #4yearvisit” he wrote.

“Me & @CatelynnLowell played Lion King for hours with Carly, it was SO funny! Getting down on the floor & playing with her was AMAZING!” Tyler tweeted on Sept. 3 after the experience.
