Chris is back on his music grind and he just dropped the video for his latest single, ‘Fine China!’ Who’s ready for a hot new Breezy video?! Keep reading to watch!

Chris Brown has been going hard in the studio, working on his latest album. His sixth studio effort, X, is set to release in July or August 2013. However, we don’t have to wait until the summer to get a taste of his latest tracks! His first single off the album, “Fine China,” has just been released!

Chris Brown Releases New Music Video

The video for “Fine China” is epic, running over 6 minutes long! Chris looks smooth in a metallic gold bow-tie and a driving cap — and his Lamborghini doesn’t hurt either. He spends the video with a sexy girl, but our the best parts of the video are when he shows his real skills and busts out those dance moves.

Chris seems on another level with his new material, and his energy overflows in the video. “Fine China” has a Michael Jackson vibe with a crunchy modern sound. And actually, the video is very reminiscent of some of Michael’s most memorable videos (go watch “Rock My World” after “Fine China”). Chris is even rocking gloves!

The video tells a Romeo and Juliet-esque story, with the love interest’s family forbidding her from seeing Chris. It ends with a tense standoff, guns pointing at Chris and then — black! What a cliffhanger! Apparently, we’ll have to wait for his next video to see how the saga ends.

‘Fine China’: Chris Brown’s First Single Off ‘X’

“Fine China” is the very first taste we get of Chris’ latest musical masterpiece. According to Billboard, Chris had set some goals for himself when creating the track. He explained that, “I wanted to touch musically on Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Sam Cooke and incorporate those influences.”

Chris has stated that X stands for multiple things. He says:

“It’s the Roman numeral for 10. 5/5/89 is my birthday: 5 plus 5 is 10, and this is my tenth year since I got into music. ‘X’ is the 24th letter in the alphabet, and I’ll have turned 24 when this album comes out. ‘X’ is also a metaphor, as in ‘ex-girlfriend’: it implies you’re progressing and moving on in life, not holding on to the past and your old ways.”

What do you think about the new single and video, HollywoodLifers?
