After spending Easter together, the ‘Vampire Diaries’ stars flew back to the states to finish filming season four.
Things may be cooling down for Damon and Elena on The Vampire Diaries, but in real life, Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev are still very much in love! The CW stars were spotted walking hand-in-hand through Canada’s Pearson International Airport on March 31, as they caught a departing flight from Toronto.
Ian, 34, and Nina, 24, ignored the swarm of photographers, looking cool and collected beneath their sunglasses. Also spotted at the airport with Nina was her mother, who Nina recently revealed gives her sex-scene advice when she visits the Vampire Diaries set.
“HAPPY EASTER!” Ian tweeted March 31, along with a hilarious picture of a chocolate bunny. Later that day, he also tweeted, “Good night you amazing beautiful world…”
Ian & Nina Visit A Sick ‘Vampire Diaries’ Fan
While we’re sure Ian and Nina enjoyed some alone time this weekend, they also made room in their busy schedules to meet with Kayla, a Vampire Diaries fan in need of new lungs.
“Happy Easter @kayla_0507 !!!!” Nina wrote March 31 on her WhoSay account. “Thinking of you today – sending you positive vibes ! We had so much fun hanging out with you yesterday! :)”
The stars had recorded a special message for Kayla on March 28, announcing their plans to visit her.
“We just wanted to make sure that your schedule's clear on Saturday, because we want to come see you [in Toronto]” Ian told Kayla, appearing next to Nina on the set of The Vampire Diaries. “Clear your schedule.”
