Browse our gallery of hot TV actresses who play two parts and vote for your favorite!
It’s hard enough playing one compelling character on a TV show, but two? That’s a task very few actresses are able to tackle successfully, which is why HollywoodLife.com decided it’s time to pay tribute to our favorite doppelgangers — beginning with Selena Gomez, who pulls double duty in her new movie, The Wizards Return.
If you’re a regular HollywoodLifer, you already know how much we love Nina Dobrev. For the past four years, she’s been wow-ing us on The Vampire Diaries, playing vampires Katherine and now-vampire Elena. No matter who her characters are hooking up with — or feasting on — we’d gladly stick with Nina for eternity.
Ironically a dead ringer for Nina, The Lying Game‘s Alexandra Chando has also become an HL favorite. The only thing more impressive than the barrage of plot twists on her ABC Family series is Alexandra’s ability to play total-opposite twins Sutton and Emma with gravity and depth. Here’s hoping for many more seasons to come!
And then there are the ladies of Storybrooke. Once Upon A Time is one of our favorite Sunday shows, largely because of Ginnifer Goodwin and Lana Parrilla‘s combined performances. Their characters’ rivalry spans two worlds and four individual characters, and we’re completely under their collective spell.
Finally, Selena’s not the only Disney darling on our list. How could we exclude Miley Cyrus, who starred on — arguably — the most successful Disney Channel series ever? She may be sporting a wild faux hawk now, but in her heyday, Miley played two adorable characters: superstar Hannah Montana and every-day girl Miley Stewart. She carried those roles from childhood to adulthood — and we loved watching her evolve every step of the way.
And yes, I know I could have gone even further back — Buffy had Buffybot on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Sabrina had Katrina on Sabrina the Teenage Witch — but I decided to keep this crew limited to the past five years.
