On the explosive season four premiere of ‘Teen Mom 2,’ Leah discovers she suffered a miscarriage with the baby she was carrying with her fiance Jeremy! Plus, Chelsea has unprotected sex with Adam, Kailyn files another court order against Jo and Jenelle finds out Kieffer is out of jail. Read on for the full recap.

Leah Messer faces devastating heartbreak during the season four premiere of Teen Mom 2 on Feb. 18 when she is rushed to the hospital with severe cramps, and discovers she had a miscarriage with the baby she had been carrying with her fiance Jeremy Calvert.

Leah Messer Finds Out She’s Had A Miscarriage

Since Jeremy works out of town for several days at a time as a pipeline engineer, Leah has to suffer the tragic news by herself and her twin daughters Ali and Aleeah Simms.  ”I just don’t understand why,” she cries about the news. But when talking it over with her friend Kayla, Leah begins to realize that maybe she’s not ready to be a mom again. She’s going to have her IUD put back in and going to wait to have kids.

Her fiance Jeremy is clearly devastated at the news — but most importantly, he wants to make sure Leah is OK. Leah says they need to slow down their relationship and not be on such the fast track that they have been. That means waiting to even plan their wedding.

Little does Jeremy know, Leah’s reasoning is that she’s still holding on to feelings with her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy Corey Simms. When she meets him to drop off the girls, she breaks the news of the miscarriage to him — but also reveals she’s still in love with him.

“I’m so tired to the back-and-forth stuff,” she yells at Corey. But when Corey points out that she’s already moved on and engaged, she says that’s not important and she would give it all up for Corey. He is still confused, so Leah drives home in tears. Back to her fiance, most likely.

Chelsea Houska Has Unprotected Sex With Adam Lind

Chelsea Houska has been broken up with baby daddy Adam Lind for a while and is focusing on going to beauty school, but one night when he was dropping off Aubree, the two hooked up. And Chelsea’s Merina IUD fell out before they hooked up, so she’s worried she’ll get pregnant. Even though Adam used the pull-out method, it’s just as reliable as Adam is as a a father.

Adam jokes with his buddies that “there’s always that thing with your baby mama,” and doesn’t want to get back together with Chelsea because of their drama, but will always kind of have feelings for her.

Meanwhile, Chelsea says it’s too early to even take a pregnancy test. but she is too nervous to. She loves Aubree, but isn’t ready to be a mom to two kids — especially with Adam.

Jenelle Evans Moves On With Gary Head

Jenelle Evans is gearing up for what is perhaps her most shocking season yet — she’s sober, she’s back in school, she moved into her own place and she has a boyfriend that her mom Barbara Evans loves — Gary Head!

Just when Jenelle seems to be getting her life back on track, she finds out that her ex-boyfriend Kieffer Delp is out of jail and may try to contact her. But it gets weirder — instead of calling Jenelle, he finds out Gary’s number and texts him that he wants to get in touch with Jenelle. Kieffer says he isn’t trying to start drama — he’s just trying to reach his ex-girlfriend through her new boyfriend. Right.

Jenelle insists she’s in love with Gary and isn’t looking to get back with Kieffer. If he tries to call her, she says she’ll change her number right away. Sounds like it’s true love with these two! We’ll have to see what happens with their relationship.

Kailyn Lowry Takes More Legal Action Against Jo Rivera

Kailyn Lowry reveals that she is at odds with her baby daddy Jo Rivera yet again over his girlfriend Vee Torres — this time, she was set off when she saw Vee at Jo’s house. Kailyn doesn’t like Vee around baby Isaac, especially since she likes to smoke and drink.

When Kail confronted her ex about it, he brought up that she has her boyfriend Javi around Isaac all the time. But this just set Kailyn off even more and he said he physically attacked him. She allegedly punched him in the face, and she claims he hit her back.

With all of the punches flying, Kailyn decides to file a PFA, which is a Protection From Abuse order. With the legal filings in place, Jo can’t seen Isaac until their court hearing in two weeks. Jo is livid after he’s served the papers, and Kailyn worries the two will never be able to be civil or friends again.

thumbnail Castle Recap: Gone Girls
Feb 19th 2013, 04:53

This week on ABC’s Castle, Rick’s worst nightmare came true when a murder investigation evolved into the search for a Middle Eastern businessman’s daughter, who was abducted with Alexis.

GONE, BABY, GONE | The episode opens with Rick and Martha missing Alexis, yet knowing they must let the Columbia freshman have “her own time in the world.” Rick is continuing that thought, touting his (measured degree of) selflessness as a father, as he and Kate come upon their case — Hasim, a well-armed Saudi who’d been mowed down by a van after shooting many rounds into it. Discovering a trove of weapons and surveillance gear in Hasim’s apartment, the team speculate that he was a spy, or he was stalking the girl, Sara, whose place he was bugging. Security cam footage though shows that Sara was abducted by the van, and Hasim — secretly hired by Sara’s extremely rich father to act as a bodyguard — tried to stop it.

Rick and Kate visit the last place Sara was seen, a hotel where she attended some expert’s speech on climate change. When Castle discovers that Alexis was also in attendance, he calls her to see if she knows anything — only to hear her cell phone ring from inside the hotel’s lost-and-found box! “They took Alexis, too,” he tells Kate.

Rick and Kate review the facts as known with FBI Agent Harris, who suspects that Alexis was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, and that Sara’s abduction may have been a politically driven act of revenge. Distraught to see how rough a crowd may be involved in this, Rick is pulled into a hug from Kate. “Gates will see…,” he notes. “I don’t care,” Kate defers. “We’re going to find her, Castle. We will.”

LOST GIRLS | As RySposito narrow down the getaway vans possible location to a 20-block area in Queens, Rick watches Alexis’ website videos, where he realizes that she had revealed where she and Sara were going that night, to the speech. Rick phones Kate to track the IP addresses of whomever accessed the same video. Kate starts to say something reassuring, but Rick stops her, barely getting the words out: “Don’t… promise me you’ll find her unless you can do it. Because I’ll never forgive you anymore than Id ever forgive myself.”

Rick unexpectedly meets up with the team in Greenpoint, where they’d found the van — and a lot of blood. But it matches neither Alexis nor Sara. And it looks like the kidnappers switches cars. “What have you brought me into?” Rick asks Sara’s father. “His answer: “I wish I knew.”

Somewhere, in a windowless room, Alexis and then Sara come to, and take stock of their captivity. Alexis finds a bathroom, with clothes, and deduces that they’re meant to be kept alive. They also deduce that they’re not in the city, in an old building, and not in a cellar. After failing to “build a relationship” with the Arabic-speaking grunt who slides them food under the door, Alexis grabs Sara’s bobby pins and sets out to pick the lock.

‘MY LIFE’S ABOUT TO CHANGE AGAIN’ | Espo IDs the getaway driver, Stevens, who’s obviously been shot and probably hoed up with his nurse sister. Beckett & Co. find him there, but he’s not talking. “I’d like a minute with him,” Rick says icily. In private, Castle explains, “The girl with the red hair… I’m her father. So it’s just you… and me.” After the desperate dad fails to get Stevens to cough up info voluntarily, we cut away and hear Stevens bellowing in anguish.

“Tell me what happened in there,” Kate later asks, as Harris’ team storms the far, house address Harris gave up. “I ‘appealed to his humanity,’” Rick responds. When Kate remarks that she didn’t think he had that side to him, Rick specifies, “When it comes to people I love, I do.” (Watching Beckett, I can’t tell if she’s chilled in general, or still startled to have uncovered this side of her lover, Meredith’s words still banging around in her bean.)

Rick reflects on what he first held Alexis as a baby and felt that “instant, inexplicable love” you only get with a child. “I knew my life ha changed forever… and now it’s about to change again.”

THE FRENCH DISCONNECTION | When the farmhouse invasion proves to be a bust, turning up only the dead kidnapper, Harris comments that cracking this case “may be more complicated” than previously thought. Back at the precinct, Kate offers to Rick, “There are hopeful signs here” — to which he can only counter, “How? Our main suspect is dead, we have no idea who we’re looking for… We’re back to square one.” Kate responds with a Castle-ism: “We’ve done it before with less to go on.”

Meanwhile, Alexis has picked the lock, and she and Sara split up and search for exits. Alexis finds a cell phone in an office, but it won’t dial 911. So she Skypes her dad briefly, until she hears the Arabic guard frantically searching for them. She drops the phone, allowing the FBI team to trace the call to…

“This can’t be right,” the FBI tech observes, before reporting on the girls’ location: “Paris, France,” as a bewildered Alexis bursts out a rooftop door to see the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

What did you think of Part 1 of the February sweeps two-parter? Did Nathan Fillion blow you away with his steely (confronting the driver) and/or anxious (awaiting the blood-type testing) moments?

Hollywood Life: 90210 Recap: Annie & Naomi’s Long-Lost Half Brother Cooks Up Trouble

thumbnail 90210 Recap: Annie & Naomi's Long-Lost Half Brother Cooks Up Trouble
Feb 19th 2013, 03:59

The girls finally met their parents’ love child — and he brought enough tacos for everybody!

Continuing in season five’s rich tradition of drudging up the past, Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) tracked down her long-lost half brother Mark on the Feb. 18 episode of 90210. And continuing in Naomi’s rich tradition of making terrible life choices, she accidentally lit his taco truck on fire, then crashed it into a newsstand — all in the name of convincing him to open up a restaurant with her. Oh yeah, Naomi’s a restauranteur now.

Annie (Shenae Grimes) didn’t do much of anything this week, aside from trying to keep Dixon (Tristan Wilds) from finding out about their half-brother, which she failed to do. There was a brief moment where I actually thought she and Mark were going to hook up, but I guess incest is where Annie draws the line.

Meanwhile, Liam (Matt Lanter) continued his gradual transformation into Chris Brown, first by assaulting Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) at the courthouse — his crazy ass thought she was Ashley, so the cops let him go — then by punching some bro in the face at the Battle of the Bands. But unlike Chris Brown, Liam was able to recognize he has a problem, so he’s going to try to channel his aggression into something productive. Presumably something that requires him to be perpetually shirtless.

Silver (Jessica Stroup) freaked out at her uterus when the aforementioned bro revealed it was hooking up with Navid (Michael Steger), but she calmed down after her uterus was like, “Hey, calm down!” Something tells me she won’t be so calm when she finds out her uterus is also teaming up with Dixon to launch a music career.

Speaking of music careers, Adrianna — who should definitely be in jail at this point — caught yet another break this week, scoring a last-minute performance with a group at the Battle of the Bands. Unfortunately, she quickly realized they were more interested in her boobs than her beats, so she decided to put her career on hiatus. Who would have thought going topless in front of a huge crowd last week would negatively impact Ade’s career?!

Every single person on this show needs a life coach.

Hollywood Life: ‘Bachelor’ Recap: Sean Lowe Picks His Final Three After Hometown Dates

thumbnail 'Bachelor' Recap: Sean Lowe Picks His Final Three After Hometown Dates
Feb 19th 2013, 03:16

Sean packs his bags and makes his way to Washington, Texas, Missouri and California for the hometown dates, where one bachelorette’s outspoken family cost her a rose.

Sean Lowe travels the country on the Feb. 18 episode of The Bachelor, as he visits the hometowns of his four finalists. Sean deals with scary fathers, scary sisters and one particularly scary brother. Two hometown dates goes well, while two end in misery, as one contestant’s family ruins her chance at becoming Sean’s wife. At the rose ceremony, Sean faces his hardest elimination yet.

Sean Lowe Visits AshLee In Texas

Sean goes to his native state of Texas to see AshLee in Houston. And one thing is for sure, the star of the show sure ain’t Sean! It’s AshLee’s little dog Bailey! Sean and AshLee sit in a field full of flowers and talk about love and family and it looks just like that scene in Twilight, except Sean does not sparkle in the sun. Boo.

Sean brings flowers for AshLee’s parents, and things go swimmingly as he dines al fresco with her family. Shirt on, for once. AshLee’s dad takes Sean aside for some mantalk, where he reveals more about AshLee’s emotional adoption past. One thing is for sure, if AshLee doesn’t win, that tragic back story would make her one hell of a Bachelorette.

Their date goes really well, but it seems apparent that AshLee is way more into Sean than he is into her.

Sean Visits Catherine In Washington

Sean then makes his way to Seattle, where Catherine invites him to partake in a series of weird and gross challenges including catching fish (quite literally) and sticking gum on a wall of gum. Then they dance like fools in the middle of the street, but it’s quite sweet really. Sean says Catherine brings out his “goofy” side — as if Sean needs to be more goofy.

When Sean goes to Catherine’s home, it’s not a scary dad he’s dealing with, instead it’s Catherine’s two evil stepsisters. Except they are not really evil, and they are not her stepsisters. Catherine’s grandma cozies right up to Sean however — Catherine may have competition on her hands!

Catherine’s evil sisters dump a big ol’ bucket of icey water on Catherine’s happiness when they say that she is trying to convince them to like Sean. And then they proceed to make things even worse by telling Sean that they are unconvinced with their relationship.

Sean leaves on a low note, as he is doubting whether he and Catherine’s relationship is real. Plus, her mean mom failed to give Sean her blessing, which is apparently a big deal for Sean.

Sean Visits Lindsay In Fort Leonard Wood

Sean goes to Missouri to see my personal favorite, Wedding Dress Lindsay. Sean is nervous to meet her scary army dad, and he should be! Sean and Lindsay go for beers and cupcakes — not quite as romantic as throwing fish but it’ll do — and then Sean is put through his paces in an army obstacle course. Thank god Sean is so buff, because it looks hard.

Sean chills out at Lindsay’s house, and it turns out her scary army dad is not that scary, and he gives Sean his blessing to propose. Lindsay shows how adorable and hilarious she is by bringing up the moment she arrived on the first night in a wedding dress. This is definitely the most successful hometown date so far.

Sean Visits Desiree In Newport

Back in California, Sean makes out with Desiree at the top of a mountain. While making dinner Desiree gets a shock when her BOYFRIEND turns up the door. He gets all fisty and angry at Sean (which is dumb move because Sean is so buff and he is a total wimp) and proclaims his undying love for Desiree. Total LOL moment — it was all a prank! Sean takes it really well, and the wimp leaves just as Desiree’s family arrive.

Desiree’s brother is pretty hot headed too, but unfortunately for Sean it is NOT a prank when he calls him out. He calls Sean a “fraud” and a “playboy” and it’s pretty clear that this guy is a jerk and Sean has totally got cold feet about Desiree now. Sean defends himself and insists that he is not a playboy, even though he currently dating three other girls.

Sean leaves on a bad note, and it looks like Desiree’s mean brother has ruined her chances of getting a rose…

The Rose Ceremony — Sean Picks His Final Three

Sean stands a top a cliff for a while — he does his best thinking that way — before having a heart to heart with his BFF host Chris Harrison. After staring at the girls promo pictures on a shelf for a while, surrounded only by candlelight, Sean realizes that he does not know who to send home.

In a last ditch attempt to be saved, Desiree drags Sean outside to explain her brother ain’t cray cray, but Sean is still unsure if he would rather deal with her crazy bro or Catherine’s scary sisters.

He gives AshLee and Lindsay (hooray!) a rose each, and then he leaves the room to go stare at their pictures some more. Does he not realize the girls are standing right in front of him?

Sean FINALLY comes back out and gives Catherine the last rose, and sends Desiree home. Desiree is devastated, and repeatedly tells Sean his is making a big mistake. I admire Desiree for her gall, but girl don’t be desperate! Sean himself seems uncertain of his decision, but judging by next week’s commercial where they go to Thailand, he gets over it fast!

What do YOU think HollywoodLifers? Do YOU think Sean made the right decision by eliminating Desiree?

Hollywood Life: Karreuche Tran: Hanging With Chris Brown in Houston Was A ‘Good Time’

Hollywood Life
Latest Hollywood Gossip, News & Celeb Pics
thumbnail Karreuche Tran: Hanging With Chris Brown in Houston Was A 'Good Time'
Feb 19th 2013, 02:50

While the cat – Rihanna’s – away, the mice did play. Karrueche Tran went to Houston for the past weekend, Feb 16 and 17, at the same time that Chris Brown was in town. She had a ‘good time’ hanging with Chris, a source close to the situation tells Hollywoodlife.com exclusively.

Wow — the moment that Rihanna leaves town, jetting to London to launch her first fashion collection for River Island, Karreuche Tran, Chris Brown‘s ex-girlfriend, gets busy spending time with him. Now a source close to Tran insists that she  will always have a “very special relationship” with Chris.

Hmm, we wonder what Rihanna will think of that “very special relationship” when she sees the photos of both Chris Brown in Houston attending the All -Star Weekend and Karrueche Tran also in Houston at the Sneaker Summit. Plus, a source confirms to Hollywoodlife.com that Karrueche was definitely spotted at least visiting the private luxurious Houston Mansion that Chris Brown rented for the weekend.

Revealed: Chris Brown and Rihanna’s ‘Very Special Relationship’

“You know, Kae and Chris will always have a very special relationship,” a source close to the situation explains exclusively to Hollywoodlife.com. “Now as for the All Stars weekend, that’s one of the biggest parties of the year and Kae was there for that and for that and for her clothing line. So it wasn’t really all that secret that she was in town.”

As for why Karrueche keeps hanging out with Chris, even after he broke up with her and reunited with his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, the source explains. “If Chris didn’t want her around, he could have cut off all ties but that ain’t the case. She’s his business partner (in The Kill collection), they used to date and be intimate and they have chemistry between them,” he says. ” It isn’t always about sex. She actually has fun hanging around Chris and his pals. They’re fun, they do spontaneous things and she likes being in that circle. More power to her.”

Did Rihanna Know About Chris & Karreuche’s Plans To Hang Out?

Hey Rihanna, I bet she loves still being in Chris’s inner circle, but how do you feel? Karrueche apparently still wants Chris’ “friendship and if other stuff goes down, it comes with the territory”, says the source.

In other words, it doesn’t sound like Karrueche’s at all given up hope of re-igniting a romance in the future again with Chris.

While Chris wasn’t as blatant as taking Karrueche as his date to the 2013 NBA All-Star basketball game, he didn’t exactly try to hide the fact that he was hanging out with Karrueche while Rihanna was away working.

The ball’s in your court, Rihanna. What do you think, HollywoodLifers -- should Rihanna be upset that Karrueche was spending time with Chris while she was away? Let me know.

Hollywood Life: ‘RHOBH’ Recap: It’s A Weird, White Tie Affair

Hollywood Life
Latest Hollywood Gossip, News & Celeb Pics
thumbnail 'RHOBH' Recap: It's A Weird, White Tie Affair
Feb 19th 2013, 02:39

Things are a-moving and a-shaking on the most recent episode of ‘RHOBH.’ Taylor’s in ‘love,’ we get a plastic surgery reveal, and Brandi, Paul, and Adrienne face off yet again. Keep reading for the breakdown of yet another wild episode!

Hmm. So things got a little bit wacky on the Feb. 18 episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, huh? Taylor Armstrong jetted off to an unknown place with an unknown lover, Kim showed us her new face, and oh yeah — the fight between Brandi Glanville and Adrienne Maloof raged on. Let us recap!

What Happens At A Dinner Party…

Pop quiz — what’s more surprising: that Taylor randomly ditched out on the girls and hopped on a plane with a man who she’s in “love” with, or the fact that she left her daughter, Kennedy, at Kyle Richards’ house and TOTALLY DIDN’T REALIZE IT! The correct answer is both. Taylor’s surprise departure did give us this gem of dialogue though:

Kyle: You didn’t know Kennedy was at my house?

Taylor: No idea.

Ah, the things love makes us do! Later in the episode Taylor says she also doesn’t know when she’ll be seeing the new love of her life again after their sudden rendezvous vacay. So that’s nice.

On to the next one: new start, new nose. At least that’s how it goes for Kim. The reveal? Hey, that nose looks pretty good! Kim gets pretty much 10s from the peanut gallery and Adrienne “compliments,” “My husband would’ve done just as good a job!” She says that at least twice.

Hey, I’m proud of you Kim. It’s not easy to go out on a limb like that and literally show your face a week later.

The Roof Is On Fire

One minute the Maloofs are playing in the pool, and the next thing you know, the old Vanderpump manor across the street is in complete flames! The fire across the street — and let’s not downplay it, that was no small grease fire — stirs a little familial debate between Adrienne and husband Paul Nassif. Do you hop in a luxury SUV and get the heck outta there, or do you stay within the iron gates of your home and hope the wildfire doesn’t spread? We at HollywoodLife HOPE you are never put in a moral conundrum such as this.

Also, the cause of this enormous fire is unclear. But at the very least, thank goodness Ken and the rest of the Vanderpumps moved out a couple months ago!

All White Everything

This episode we get Kyle’s annual white party! And while the decorations — the balls are eggs and the Medusas are octopuses — didn’t quite go as planned, Kyle was hoping the party would go better — especially better than last year’s white party.

Watching the Maloofs ride in a limo to the party, dressed in white, talking about lawsuits was like watching Muhammed Ali walk into the ring before a boxing match. But we’ll get to that later.

Before the party gets out of hand, Brandi makes her first appearance of the episode with two wing-women — and she’s anxious and man-hungry. She sees a cute, dark-haired real estate agent who she describes her attraction for by saying, ”He has a sexy gap in his teeth that I want to suck on.” Oh, of course!

Lisa complains about Adrienne’s self-tanner (which yeah, Adrienne’s legs were GOLDEN) staining her furniture, but that’s really just a warmup for Miss Maloof.

The White Party Gets Dark

Speaking of — Paul, cheeseburger in hand, scares the crap out of Brandi. She still has PTSD from the last fight. Brandi “doesn’t want it to get ugly.”

But it sort of does. When Brandi tries to get Adrienne to talk “calm, very calmly,” it goes almost exactly the opposite of that. Basically, too many lawyers were hired, and Brandi, Adrienne, and Paul all raise their voices at each other at the same time. But when Brandi whips out emails proving that Bernie has been selling stories to Radaronline.com, the room gets pleasingly silent.

Much of the point of this most recent feud gets lost in the clutter — did the Maloofs file a lawsuit or not!? Tell us!!!

After some time Brandi gets a whole lot of backup. “Friends do not sue friends,” the wise Ken says, before calling out Paul on his BS. I want this guy to be my best friend. And with the benefit of flashbacks, we get to actually see how hypocritical the couple’s being. Even still though, they don’t back off an inch.

I have a hard time picking sides on this one — the Maloofs are pretty slimy BUT Brandi probably went out of her way to start some stuff, and could’ve kept things quiet way back when.

But that was fun!

What about you guys, HollywoodLifers? How did you feel about the episode? Let us know!

American Idol wants a female winner for Season 12 — or at least that was the loud and clear message of Ryan Seacrest’s voiceovers during the ladies-only portion of Hollywood Week. Still, with the pimping of Angela Miller, Candice Glover and Janelle Arthur starting so early in the season, could the strategy backfire and give rise to another dudely successor to Phillip Phillips, Scotty McCreery and Lee DeWyze?

On this week’s Idology, my cohost Melinda Doolittle and I discuss this conundrum for executive producer Nigel Lythgoe and his cohorts, while also dissecting some peculiar behavior by the Season 12 judges during the women’s group rounds. Plus, Melinda finally finds an Idol conspiracy theory she can support, I explain why I can relate to the super-bizarre Zoanette Johnson (but only when I’m in the shower), and we identify a couple of under-the-radar women with a chance at the full “This Is My Now” experience.

TVLine: Rocky Carroll Previews Vance's NCIS Return, His Sobering Discovery and a New Bond With Gibbs

Feb 19th 2013, 02:00

This Tuesday on NCIS (CBS, 8/7c), director Leon Vance risks setbacks both professional and personal as he readies to return to duty in the wake of wife Jackie’s shocking death.

But is it all too much, too soon?

“Vance has been ‘out to sea’ a bit, emotionally and in other ways,” Rocky Carroll tells TVLine. “Here’s a man who at NCIS represented the ‘nuclear family,’ and all of a sudden an avalanche of things happened. Now he has the responsibility of trying to keep things together for the sake of two young children, and at the same time try to investigate this murder.”

Though Carroll says Vance is “champing at the bit” to get back to work, he receives a tenuous welcome upon resurfacing at NCIS HQ, “because the feeling is that he’s probably not emotionally ready to be there. Vance is going to put up a good front and say, ‘No, I’m fine. I can handle this,’ but it’ll be very clear that he’s far from being his old self.”

Not helping with the widower’s composure is what Carroll describes as a “multidimensional series of discoveries” Vance makes while going through Jackie’s things. “He learns his wife’s true feelings and true assessment of what Vance does for a living, what the pitfalls of being the wife of an NCIS director are, what she felt she needed to do in order to live,” the actor shares. “You see where Jackie had to take matters into her own hands.”

Putting Vance through this crucible, Carroll feels, is the writers’ way of taking the great love that NCIS fans oft profess for TV’s most watched drama and saying, “Let’s put it to the test.”

“When you love somebody and they go through a real adversity, you don’t back away from that relationship,” he notes. “You don’t say, ‘When you’re better, call me.’ The opposite happens. Your bond strengthens, and you become even more vested.”

Speaking of stronger bonds, Carroll says you can probably expect more scenes like the one between Vance and Gibbs in the episode “Shiva,” where the NCIS director opened up to acknowledge the new, deeper understanding he has of his No. 1′s own personal tragedies.

“In one fell swoop, they’ve created this incredible parallel of lives between Ziva, Vance and Gibbs — all through death,” Carroll says, alluding to Eli David (who was killed with Jackie in Mossad boss Ilan Bodnar’s assault on the Vance home). “Now that Vance has lost his wife, he begins to see Gibbs in a different light.”

Hollywood Life: ‘Downton Abbey’: Meet Mary Crawley’s New Man — Spoiler Alert

Feb 19th 2013, 00:30

After the shocking ‘Downtown Abbey’ season finale, we now know that Mary Crawley will be in deep mourning. But apparently, we won’t be grieving for too long in season four, now that a handsome newcomer has auditioned to join the cast.

If you haven’t watched the Downton Abbey season 3 finale, then read no further. I’m giving you a full-on spoiler alert. The good news is that Downton fans will be desperate to tune into season four to find out how Lady Mary copes with the loss of someone so important to her life. Now, I can assure you, there’s even more reason to bite your nails until next season.

Lady Mary hasn’t exactly been the luckiest in love. In fact, for all three Crawley sisters, love has had dire consequences. But at least it appears that new mother Lady Mary won’t be left in the depths of depression for too long after the death of the love of her life, Matthew Crawley in the season finale.

The show will likely be introducing Welsh tv actor and hunk Tom Ellis as lady Mary’s new love interest, a source at ITV tells Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper. Ellis, who stars as character Gary Preston, in the British TV comedy show, Miranda and is “incredibly popular with female viewers”, according to the source.

Lady Mary Won’t Have To Wait Too Long For New Love

Well, one look at the 34-year-old dark haired actor, and it’s not hard to see why. But sorry single ladies — Ellis is already married to wife, British actress Tamzin Outhwaite and is dad to their two young daughters. Plus, he has a daughter from another relationship.

Now, for those of you anxious to see lady Mary’s heart set on fire again, apparently you won’t have to sit through almost another entire season. Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes told the New York Times, that season four begins six months after Matthew Crawley’s untimely death.” We don’t have to do funerals and all that stuff. That’s all in the past by then.”

Well that’s good news since we spent a big part of season three first mourning for poor Lady Sybil, who died in childbirth and then watching as her death almost destroyed Lord and Lady Grantham‘s marriage.

Now we can pick up Lady Mary as she’s beginning to rebuild her life and realizing that she can’t live the rest of her long days as a widow and that her newborn son will need a father.

There should be plenty of vying for Lady Mary’s hand from suitors since she will be a very rich widow, having inherited Matthew’s large fortune.

Do you think Tom Ellis will be able to rock lady Mary’s world Hollywoodlifers? Let me know.

Hollywood Life: Khloe Kardashian Will Be ‘Devastated’ ‘X Factor’s’ Not Asking Her Back

Feb 18th 2013, 23:43

Breaking news hit on Feb. 18 that Khloe would not be invited back to host ‘The X Factor’s’ third season. Keep reading for EXCLUSIVE details about how she’s handling the huge letdown.

“You know Khloe’s going to be shocked” that she was let go from The X Factor,  a source close to Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. Turns out, even the Kardashian girls go through tough times once in a while.

Khloe Kardashian: Let Go By Fox

On Feb. 18, the New York Post reported that Fox was bringing back co-host Mario Lopez for another season of The X Factor, but that they would not be asking Khloe to continue her hosting duties. The news is a huge blow to Khloe, who seemed to really enjoy her job outside of the Kardashian reality TV franchise. In a word, she’s devastated.

It was Khloe’s first time as a host of a show, and there were hiccups along the way, but by the end of the season she seemed to hit her stride and get comfortable with her duties. That’s why this will hurt so much.

“She won’t believe it and it will hurt her feelings real bad,” says the source.

Being Let Go Is ‘A Low Blow To Khloe’

Being let go by The X Factor is an unfortunate start to the new year for Khloe, especially in the giant shadow her family casts. Kim Kardashian is obviously on top of the world, happily pregnant and dating one of the biggest rappers on the planet, Kanye West. Meanwhile, Kourtney and Scott Disick have a growing family, while Khloe is still childless. And to make things even worse, her mother just signed a daytime TV show deal with Fox, and her half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s careers have begun to take off.

“She needed a break and X Factor would be the ideal escape for her to get her mind off s**t at home,” the source tells HollywoodLife, “It’s just another blow for Khloe and her ego has to be knocked a bit.”

What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Should Khloe have been let go from The X Factor? Let us know!
