'America's Got Talent' Recap: Skilyr Hicks Amazes In Tender Tribute Jul 11th 2013, 03:31, by Avery Thompson The July 10 episode of ‘America’s Got Talent’ was the final round before Vegas, so the contestants had one last chance to impress the judges! America’s Got Talent was on at a special night July 10 for one last round of incredible acts! Some acts great, some were really bad but it looks like we’re Vegas bound with some phenomenal talents! Top 5 Performances For July 10 5. Tavi & Antonio This aerial love duet is definitely something we’ve never seen before. Both performers were shirtless (we’re not complaining) and used their insane acrobatic skills to wow the audience and the judges. Their tribute to love even caused Howard Stern and Howie Mandel to almost kiss! Now that’s a first. 4. Aquanauts This synchronized swimming group put a new twist on an old sport. This all-girl group that combines swimming, dancing, and gymnastics added high heels to their routine! The act was fun, fierce, and an act we haven’t seen yet. Wonder what the ladies will add to their routine next? Possibly evening gowns? 3. Timber Brown After this routine, we felt like we’d seen a modern day Jack and the Giant Beanstalk! This 28-year-old stunned with his acrobatic wonder. The amount of agility and strength from Timber’s act was amazing. Mel B couldn’t vote because she had worked with Timber in one of her past Las Vegas shows but that doesn’t mean he didn’t love from the rest of the judges. Heidi Klum thought he was “unbelievable” and Howie “did not notice one single flaw.” We agree with the judges, Timber! You were great! 2. Milton Patton This 21-year-old electrician from Arkansas caught us completely by surprise with his sweet, sweet voice. Milton stole our hearts with his touching rendition of Brad Paisley‘s “Whiskey Lullaby.” He has a smooth voice you won’t forget and with one listen, you’ll fall in love with Milton too. Mel B told him, “I see a superstar in you,” and Howie called him a “diamond in the rough.” This guy could be a new face of country music. We’re serious. 1. Skilyr Hicks If there weren’t tears in your eyes are this 14-year-old’s heartbreaking homage to her late father, then there must be something wrong with your eyes. This sad yet stunning original song from Skilyr was one of the best performances we’ve seen all season. Even though it was still a touchy situation for Skilyr, she sang through her pain in a wonderful song that her father would be proud of. Heidi proclaimed that, “I feel like you just won all of our hearts.” That’s exactly right, Heidi. Skilyr is going to go so far in this competition, we can feel it. Well, it looks like America’s Got Talent is heading to Las Vegas to the next round of auditions! We can’t wait to see the next stage of the competition! So HollywoodLifers, are you ready for Vegas? Randy Travis is currently in critical condition after suffering a stroke on July 10. This new development comes just hours after doctors released video statements saying he was improving. Randy Travis Suffers Stroke — In Critical Condition Again “As a complication of his congestive heart failure, Mr. Randy Travis has suffered a stroke and is currently undergoing surgery to relieve pressure on his brain.  He is in critical condition.  We will have updates as they become available.  His family and friends here with him at the hospital request your prayers and support,” a statement from Randy’s rep said on July 10. Those closest to Randy have rushed to his side at Heart Hospital Baylor Plano in Texas. Randy Travis Hospitalized For Complications From Heart Condition Randy, 54, was first admitted to the hospital on July 7, after suffering from complications stemming from viral cardiomyopathy. Viral cardiomyopathy is a weakening of the heart muscles that interferes with the heart's ability to pump blood with sufficient force, according to Johns Hopkins. The disease can be caused by many factors, including prolonged excessive use of alcohol, but it is unclear if that is related to Randy's condition. This is so sad. Our thoughts go out to Randy’s friends and family during this difficult time. When we saw Naomi Watts on the set of her latest movie, St. Vincent, in Brooklyn, New York during the week of July 7, we didn’t know what to think. Naomi looked so different, we barely even recognized her! The tips of her hair were dyed pink! We know it’s just for a movie role, but how do you feel about her dramatic makeover? Naomi Watts’ Pink Hair On ‘St. Vincent’ Set — Cool Or Crazy? Naomi was spotted walking around set between takes, and obviously the first thing we noticed was how different her hair was! Naomi has sported elegant, blonde tresses for as long as we can remember — so her character’s hair is certainly different! The ends of her hair were dyed a bright pink shade with some orange-y tones and it looks like the rest of her blonde hair was dyed a shade or two lighter as well. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Blew Kisses While Pleading Not Guilty To All Charges Jul 10th 2013, 20:06, by Eleanore Hutch Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev pleaded not guilty to 30 charges at his first court appearance, where he shockingly was seen smiling and blowing kisses at his family during his trial. Are you horrified by his behavior? Accused Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned on July 10 for the April 15 attacks on the Boston Marathon, and he shocked witnesses who were present in the court. During his short trial, Dzhokhar was “smirking,” blowing kisses to his family, and appeared to be smiling. How awful. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Blew Kisses During Trial Dzhokhar, 19, arrived at court in a white van, making his first public appearance since he was arrested on April 19 by police. He entered court in an orange jumpsuit with his hands cuffed behind back, and he sported shaggy hair and dark eyes, reports FOX news. He wore a cast on his left arm, as he is still injured from his arrest. Dzhokhar faced victims of the attack, and he unsurprisingly avoided contact with them, but he was seen smiling, smirking and blowing kisses at his sisters. This is disgraceful behavior for someone who is on trial for three murders and countless injuries. FOX 25 News Boston were present in court for the brief trial, and they tweeted throughout: He turned back to see his family and smiled a bit Sister crying in court Tsarnaev keeps looking back at his family and smiling, kind of a half smile.  His hair is bushy and shaggy. Hes almost smirking Tsarnaev is fidgeting as penalties are read Tsarnaev just looks back to crowd directly behind him- quickly turns his head back Tsarnaev leaned forward and said into mic a clear “not guilty” plea Tsarnaev’s attorneys advised him to plead not guilty on all counts- must now go through each count and say “not guilty” into microphone Tsarnaev rubs his neck, fixes his collar between saying not guilty as he continues hearing the charges he faces Tsarnaev glances back and blew a kiss to family One sister crying, the other praying Dzhokhar Tsarnaev — Accused Boston Bomber Attends Court Dzhokhar was charged with using a weapon of mass destruction in the horrific attacks that killed three people —  including an 8-year-old boy — and wounded more than 260 others. If convicted, he could face the death penalty. He will next appear in court on Sept. 23. The trial is expected to last three to four months, with 80-100 witnesses. What do YOU think HollywoodLifers? And speaking of racing, HollywoodLife.com spoke with the latest Indy 500 winner Tony Kanaan EXCLUSIVELY about his recent win — and the possibility of joining Dancing With The Stars! Tony Kanaan On Winning The Indy 500 Tony Kanaan, 38, won the 2013 Indianapolis 500 on May 26, making him the first Brazilian driver to win the esteemed race since Hélio Castroneves in 2009. Here’s what he told us about his epic victory: It's the best feeling in the world. Obviously, it's something I've dreamed of for all of my career and to be able to achieve it, it's definitely the biggest achievement of my life. Tony Kanaan Talks The Possibility Of ‘DWTS’ Hélio won the fifth season of the dancing competition show in 2007, which really adds some pressure for Tony. He opened up to us about the prospect of joining the cast — and it sounds like a definite possibility! Here’s what he said: Yeah, we're in talks. We found out in May that the show will start in late August, and Teen Mom 3 star Briana Dejesus, 19, hinted that the trailer is to be released in the very near future! We can’t wait! ‘Teen Mom 3′ Cast Includes ’16 & Pregnant’ Season Four Familiar Faces The third season will focus on the lives of 16 & Pregnant season four stars Briana, Katie Yeager, 19, Mackenzie Douthit, 18, and Alexandria Sekella, 19. All four girls come from fairly different situations: Mackenzie, a cheerleader and 16 & Pregnant season four fan-favorite; Briana, who has dealt with major baby daddy issues; Alexandra, who has considered adoption; and Katie, who gave up college for her baby and boyfriend. Four completely different personalities dealing with four completely different situations is bound to make for some more classic Teen Mom drama. Chris Brown’s New Track — Breezy Teases Mystery Song With Video Chris, 24, released a short video of him listening to his new mystery song on July 10. Chris lights up a cigarette and sits and listens and dances along to his song. And we like it just as much as he does! This song is going to be a hit! So what else can fans expect from his new album? Chris Brown Talks About New Album Chris spoke exclusively to HollywoodLife.com about his new album, including the song “Put It Up,” that is a collaboration with his ex girlfriend Rihanna. “It flows easy,” Chris said about collaborating with his sexy ex. “What works with us is that we have similar ways of creating music. It’s as effortless as can be.” Chris and Rihanna previously worked together on the song “Nobody’s Business,” but Chris explains that this is a much different song. “It’s more of an R&B record,” Chris said. “I wanted to do an R&B record with Rihanna because I didn't want it to be the same pop sound as before, something different than what you'd expect from us.” However, Chris isn’t making any promises that “Put It Up” will make it onto his album, so there is no guarantee that this new song is it. “Nothing’s been locked in yet,” he said. He faces 30 charges after killing four people and wounding 260 during the April 15 Boston Marathon bombings. Watch the live stream below! Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is finally facing the music. The suspected terrorist, is in court for the first time since being arrested in connection to the Boston Marathon bombings. He will formally face his charges at 3:30pm and all of the victim’s families have been invited to attend and it’s all being live streamed. Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev In First Court Hearing Millions of people all over the world are watching Dzhokhar in court, after the horrific attacks he committed with his brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev. “People were killed, many others lost limbs. Dozens and dozens continue to suffer,” former U.S. Attorney Michael Sullivan said. “It's an emotional day because of the horrific harm that he caused so many innocent people.” Dzhokhar has been out of sight for the past 11 weeks and recovering from a throat injury incurred when he was captured. Dzhokhar was shot in the throat while hiding out in a boat in the backyard of a Watertown, Mass., home.
