On Apr. 6, Miley was caught having a good time, smoking a rolled cigarette on the balcony of her Miami Beach, Fla. hotel room. What are we to make of this!? Keep reading for more details.
Miley Cyrus, never a dull moment. The Hannah Montana star kicked back on her hotel balcony on Apr. 6 and lit up a very funny-looking cigarette.
Miley Cyrus Caught Smoking On Hotel Balcony
Miley reclined on the balcony’s chaise lounge and broke out what appears to be a hand-rolled cigarette of sorts. The actress puffed away initially in ski hat and sunglasses, though she quickly removed both accessories.
Miley’s chill-out session was caught on film by a photographer, and while there’s no real way to know what Miley was indulging in, she does have a history of smoking various substances. In 2009, a video caught Miley in the act of smoking salvia from a bong.
Two years later, Miley’s friends gave her a Bob Marley birthday cake, of which she commented, “You know you’re a stoner when your friends make you a Bob Marley cake. You know you smoke way too much f**king weed!” She later backed off of her comments, saying she was just joking.
But scandal hasn’t evaded her since then — this year, an Instagram account posted two pictures, one showing a girl who appeared to be Miley blowing smoke, and another of the same girl sitting in front of a pile of a suspicious-looking green substance. Miley responded to the pictures with a denial, saying, “I don’t have an Instagram.”
Miley Cyrus: Singing About Smoking In New Song?
If Miley wants to convince us otherwise though, she definitely is trying too hard. Just this week, Miley released a song featuring Snoop Lion (a notorious marijuana enthusiast) called “Ashtrays and Heartbreaks.” The song contains lines such as “My buzz is going” and “Fill up all those ashtrays,” not exactly innocent imagery.
This is just the latest installment of Miley being Miley. She loves having a good time, and she’s been in the middle of working herself ragged recording her new album, so she probably deserves to kick back a little.
The inspiring story continues! Less than a week after horrifically breaking his leg in multiple places, Kevin joined his teammates on the bench for their Apr. 6 game against Wichita State. Keep reading for more details.
Kevin Warewasn’t going to let a silly little leg injury keep him from cheering on his team and being the biggest inspiration they’ll ever have. On Apr. 6, the recovering basketball player sat with his team as they battled Wichita State for a chance to go to college basketball’s national championship.
Kevin Ware Joins His Team For Final Four Game
Kevin looked totally happy to be courtside, sitting on the bench dressed in his Louisville jersey. It’s amazing to think that just six days ago, Kevin suffered what was probably the most graphic injury ever shown on national TV.
But at this point, we really shouldn’t expect anything less from Kevin. From the second his right leg bone snapped to now, he has been the strongest, most positive person out of everyone! Even minutes after he suffered the injury, he implored his team to focus on their game against Duke: “All he kept saying – and remember the bone is six inches out of his leg — and all he's yelling is 'win the game, win the game,’” coach Rick Pitino told a reporter after the game.
Kevin Ware: Overcoming His Horrific Injury
Kevin immediately underwent surgery to repair his damaged leg, which took two hours in total. But just a day later, on Apr. 1, Kevin was up walking around his hotel room with the aide of crutches. Doctors actually think that Kevin could be back playing basketball in about six months. “I’ll be back next season,” Kevin told Good Morning America.
We weren’t even sure Kevin would ever be able to walk again! It’s just so amazing and emotional to see Kevin on the sidelines after that scary moment. He inspired his team to win that night, and we’d be surprised if he doesn’t inspire Louisville to go all the way to the championship!
“I grew up with the Jonas brothers and Miley [Cyrus],” Selena explained in an interview with The Guardian. ”I got to experience all that at such a young age, unfortunately — or fortunately — that now it just doesn’t faze me.” Selena goes on to say that being a Disney star was the best training she could have got.
“I grew up in one of the biggest high schools in the world – the Disney channel,” the 20-year-old quipped.
As her relationship with one of the biggest stars on Earth fell apart in front of her, Selena took it in stride and actually seemed to improve after the breakup. She attributes her maturity to the positive influences she has: “At this point in my life I have really good people around me,” Selena says.
Was Selena Gomez Dissing Justin Bieber?
In each of these statements made by Selena, it’s very hard not to think that she’s comparing herself to her ex, Justin Bieber. The two have certainly gone in separate directions since splitting up. While Selena shined in Spring Breakers, Justin made the news for taking off his shirt and allegedly assaulting his neighbor (among other things).
When Selena admits that she has “really good people” around her, how can you not think of Justin, whose friends like Lil Twist have been accused of being bad influences?
Selena isn’t stupid — she knows that she’s doing better than her ex, but whether the comments from this most recent interview are specifically directed at Justin is up for debate. It definitely sounds like she could be referring to Justin!
Chris Brown & Rihanna Collaborate: ‘As Effortless As Can Be’
“It flows easy,” Chris said about collaborating with his sexy girlfriend. “What works with us is that we have similar ways of creating music.”
Chris and Rihanna combined for “Nobody’s Business,” a standout track off of Rihanna’s newest album Unapologetic and they also worked together on a song that may be included on Chris’ upcoming album, X, called “Put It Up.”
What’s so great about their collaborations is that you can feel the love and synchronicity just by listening. The music ends up being so good because its creators are extremely passionate about it.
And when he’s with Rihanna, Chris tells us that he never struggles to find inspiration: “It’s as effortless as can be,” he says.
Chris Brown Reveals Details About ‘Put It Up’
We asked Chris to give us some more details about “Put It Up” because we were such “Nobody’s Business” junkies when the song was released. CB filled us in, saying that “Put It Up” is actually a much different song than “Nobody’s Business.”
“It’s more of an R&B record,” Chris said. “I wanted to do an R&B record with Rihanna because I didn't want it to be the same pop sound as before, something different than what you'd expect from us.”
We trust pretty much anything that Chris and RiRi put out together, so we’re definitely on board for this. However, Chris isn’t making any promises that “Put It Up” will make it onto his album. “Nothing’s been locked in yet,” he said.
Our fingers are crossed! What about yours, HollywoodLifers?
‘I Hit It First’: Ray J Blatantly Disses Kim Kardashian
Ray J gets straight to business with a hook that completely lacks subtlety: “She might move on to rappers and ballplayers/But we all know I hit it first,” Ray J sings. The song only gets crazier from there, with Ray J calling out Kanye by name and bragging about his sexual exploits with Kim. We have no idea where Ray J got all this confidence from!
The odd part of the song though is when Ray J’s diss song turns into a love song. “And if you would’ve come back to me girl I know just how you do me.” Hate to break it to you, Ray J, but we don’t think Kim’s coming back to you any time soon.
Kanye West Reacts To Ray J’s Song
As HollywoodLife.com reported EXCLUSIVELY, Kanye is none too happy about the song, but he won’t be giving it more attention than it deserves. “Kanye don't condone broke ass, jealous [guys] who be trying to bite off he and Kim's fame just to stay, wait, just to become relevant,” a source close to Yeezy told us.
Ray J’s just milking his one claim to fame for as long as he possibly can — “I Hit It First” is about as low as a guy can get though.
Listen to the song below and tell us what you think, HollywoodLifers!
Ray J went and stirred the pot on Apr. 5, releasing a new song clearly directed at Kim Kardashian and Kanye. Now, HollywoodLife can tell you EXCLUSIVELY that Kanye isn’t too thrilled about the diss track. Keep reading for more details!
Ray Jmight have thought he was being clever releasing a Kim Kardashiandiss song called “I Hit It First,” but he’s gone and woken up the beast – Kanye Westis not pleased at all with the new song, a source close to Yeezy tells HollywoodLife.comEXCLUSIVELY.
Kanye West’s Reaction: Ray J ‘Is Whack’
“Ray J is crazy” for releasing a song that overtly disses Kanye and Kim, a source close to the rapper tells HollywoodLife.com. Kanye is very upset over “I Hit It First,” which contains lyrics like, "Hit it from north/Brought her head down south/Now that I'm finished/She's on to Mr. West." He’s infuriated that Ray J would trudge up his and Kim’s sex tape from 2007 just to get a little attention.
But the source assures us that Kanye sees the song for what it truly is — a publicity stunt. ”Kanye don’t condone broke ass, jealous [guys] who be trying to bite off he and Kim’s fame just to stay, wait, just to become relevant.”
Kanye West & Kim Kardashian Will Not Give Ray J Attention
Even though Kanye’s fuming, the source states that Yeezy won’t be giving Ray J the attention he wants. So we should probably stop hoping for Kanye to release a diss track of his own (that battle wouldn’t even be fair). Instead, don’t expect much of a response from Kim and Kanye, as Ray J fades back into obscurity.
What do you think of the feud, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!
HollywoodLife interviewed Chris Brown EXCLUSIVELY about his new album, ‘Fine China,’ and his relationship with Rihanna. But there was one thing the R&B singer kept coming back to during our conversation — love. Keep reading to see what Chris had to say!
Chris Brownis at the beginning of a new chapter in his life. He’s just months away from releasing his sixth studio album, X, and his relationship with Rihannais flourishing, the couple’s violent past a distant memory. The new Chris Brown has a lot to do with his current outlook on life, as we discovered during our EXCLUSIVE interview with the singer.
Chris Brown: ‘Love Is The Focus’
Talking to us about his single “Fina China,” Chris says, “Love is the focus. We need more of that element in life and in everything we do.”
Chris’ newfound focus on love is evident in the song’s lyrics — “When you’re mine, I’ll be generous/You’re irreplaceable,” is the crux of the chorus — but he has made it even clearer through his extensive charity work.
Over the past few months, Chris has become even more involved in his charity Symphonic Love Foundation, which supports and creates arts programs for youth while encouraging every day public service, respect and kindness. On Feb. 9, Chris doubled SL’s generosity, awarding 11 young people scholarships to the Debbie Allen Dance Academy instead of the five he had initially promised.
And more recently on Mar. 27, Chris led SL’s “Global Best Buddies Day,” which aimed to raise awareness and respect for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities around the world. Chris spent the whole day painting murals with his Buddies!
Chris Brown: ‘X’ Focuses On ‘All Things Positive’
Chris has put his troubled past behind him — the negative headlines AND the bad attitude — and moved on to being a kinder, more loving human being. He hopes that his new album can speak towards that: “I'm focused on moving forward and all things positive,” he told us, adding, “I want my music to speak for itself and to speak for me.”
So what do you think of the new Chris Brown, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!
Happy Saturday to everyone! Selena has been leading the countdown for the official release of her new single, but the song leaked onto the internet on Apr. 6 two days early. Keep reading to listen to ‘Come & Get It!’
Oh boy, this is even better than what we were expecting! Selena Gomez’snew single, “Come & Get It,” has made its way onto the internet, and it does not disappoint. Justin Bieber’sgonna have a hard time listening to this new hit!
Selena Gomez: ‘Come & Get It’ Leaks Early
Selena’s newest song brings in a worldly flavor with Indian-esque percussion and a sample that sounds straight out of Slumdog Millionaire. But with “Come & Get It,” Selena proves that she can still make a hard-hitting pop song. It’s definitely a huge step for her music career — a catchy banger with a seriously anthemic hook.
“Come & Get It’s” lyrics are even more interesting than its sound though. With lines like, “I'm addicted for life” and “This love will be the death of me, but I know I'll die happily,” we can’t help but think the song is directed at Justin. And it’s a pretty strong message — we wonder if Justin will seize the moment and go and get Selena back!
Read the full lyrics and listen to the song below, and let us know what you think, HollywoodLifers!
‘Come & Get It’ Lyrics

Kim Works On Her Maternity Wear

She mixed skin-hugging and free-flowing perfectly in this outfit, and looks to be getting the hang of dressing for her baby body.

Kim kept things simple and intimate — no big film crews, no paparazzi — for the picture. Just her and her baby bump in a dressing room. And actually, this might be the best picture Kim’s taken since becoming pregnant! She’s glowing and stunning. Who knew — as Kim continues to struggle to find the perfect outfits for her pregnant body, turns out all she had to do was wear black leggings and show us her belly!

Kim Kardashian’s Baby: Will It Be A Girl?
As Kim’s bump grows as we approach her July due date, so too does the evidence that she’ll be having a little girl. HollywoodLife.comreported EXCLUSIVELY in January that she and Kanye West were expecting a girl: "Kim has always dreamed of having a little girl and now she has her wish,” a source told us.
And on Feb. 26, Kim’s godmother Kathie Lee Gifford slipped up big-time, saying that Kim was pregnant with “her little girl.” And even more recently, an assistant was spotted dropping off pink gifts at Kim K’s house!
Whatever Kim’s baby ends up being, this picture reaffirms that she is going to be an amazing, loving mother.
If you were looking forward to watching Snooki raise a family on television, then you may be disappointed! The reality star says she wants to branch out, and she doesn’t mean a spin-off show with her whole family.
Snooki wants to continue to expand her family, but she doesn’t want to raise them in front of the limelight on reality television, she reveals to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. I guess we will have to suffice with all the cute photos of little Lorenzo.
Snooki Wants Her Kids To Have Private Lives
“I want to branch off from reality after I do it for a couple more years, but I don’t want to have my kids in reality, I don’t want to do that to them,” Snooki tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“Eventually I want to host a late night show where we talk about raunchy stuff!” she says.
Guidette Wants To Her Own Late Night Talk Show On Bravo
With the late night Tonight Show drama happening over at NBC, Snooki said she would like to host a late night talk show — just not on network TV!
“Probably not that, I would like to do it on Bravo! I don’t think I would be able to talk about sex on late night!” she reveals.
Snooki Defends Pregnant Kim Kardashian
The reality star previously gave maternity advice to Kim Kardashian, since she can relate to being pregnant — in the limelight — with a small frame. But it seems like no matter what, Snooki believes people should leave Kim alone about her weight gain.
“That is exactly what it is, she’s pregnant, people should really leave her alone!”
So HollywoodLifers, do you think it’s a good thing that Snooki doesn’t want to have her kids on reality tv? Do you think she will eventually? Let us know in the comments below!

With the ‘Evil Dead’ remake hitting theaters this weekend, critics seem to be in disagreement! Some love the gruesome horror flick, but others just think it’s a bloody mess. Read the reviews here!
The Evil Dead remake (out Apr. 5) promised to bring back the original’s terrifying premise and inject it with the all-out gore that we’re used to seeing these days. The reviews for the film are in, and while some critics totally loved the bloodbath, others thought that it didn’t come close to living up to the original. One thing’s for sure — it’s definitely gory!
The Reviews Of ‘Evil Dead’
New York Post
Truthfully, if it hadn't been my paying job as a critic to watch Fede Alvarez's remake of Evil Dead all the way to the end, I probably would have headed for the exit door long before the point where somebody cuts off her own arm with an electric carving knife. Of course, then I'd have missed another character being severed lengthwise with a chain saw while some members of the audience hooted in approval.
Los Angeles Times
What this Evil Dead gets most right is its tone, paying homage yet staking its own territory; it’s scary without being downbeat, fun without being too jokey. Jane Levy in particular is perfectly in sync with Fede Alvarez’s mix of sincerity, snark and scares. Alvarez certainly seems to have relished the chance to splatter and spray his cast with all manner of goo. His aesthetic is a few shades lighter than the gloomy grunge of other recent horror reinventions, and he never loses sight of the black comedy lurking in the story’s corners.
New York Daily News
Though Fede Alvarez keeps us watching, he takes no real chances. Buried under all those enthusiastically mangled bodies is the comfort of familiarity. He may have intended to remake a single film, but we've seen this movie countless times before.
In a virtuoso feature debut, Uruguayan-born writer-director Fede Alvarez and co-writer Rodo Sayagues honor the motifs of the original, from the camera rushing pell-mell through the woods to signal the demon’s arrival, to the deployment of a chainsaw in the final showdown. But the plotting as a whole feels fresh, as does the emphasis on women strong enough to defend themselves. Alvarez also honors Sam Raimi, who co-produced this remake, in another key way: The film’s special effects are created with old-fashioned prosthetics and buckets of blood, which lend a horrifically tactile reality to such moments as when the possessed Mia slices her own tongue in two. Dare ya not to look.
This is no horror-comedy, like Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead sequels, but it does match the original in creating occasional and surprising moments of well-timed humor amid what is otherwise straight horror. A particularly effective sequence involving a weaponized nail gun and a grisly sight gag following a self-amputation quite effectively blur the line between the two, while a cameo of the ’73 Oldsmobile from the original ends up being a laugh-worthy moment of pure fan service. Effective scares, respectful nods to its inspiration and a few new twists make the question of whether this new Evil Dead succeeds in matching its inspiration superfluous. This is one remake that succeeds on its own blood-soaked terms.
The good: The actors are more professional — although you'll miss Bruce Campbell. The gore quotient is up, through the roof, to the moon. It's rousing in its way. Gasps, moans, general writhing — and that's just the audience. There's a new prologue that comes on like torture porn and takes a switchback turn: nice. I liked how you don't know who'll be the so-called "Final Girl" to face off against the demon.
Go see it for yourselves, HollywoodLifers, and let us know what you think about this gory horror movie!
