Another week on ‘The Bachelorette,’ another week of Desiree exercising her tongue. On the June 24 episode, Des and her hunks go to Germany and one contestant suddenly leaves, things get heated on a snow slop, and Des goes on the worst date of her life. Yikes!
It’s just another Munich Monday on the June 24 episode of The Bachelorette, where we saw Desiree Hartsock get ditched by one dude, and then she went on the WORST date of her life. To make matters worse, then she had to make a very difficult decision to send two guys home.
Bryden Leaves
In the first five minutes, Bryden leaves because he is not having any fun. Like any. He interrupts Des’ date to tell her he needs to leave, like, yesterday. Des seems pretty peeved, but it’s all good cos she has Chris‘ hunky arms to console her.
Want to know why Bryden left? Come back to HollywoodLife.com tomorrow to read my EXCLUSIVE interview with him.
Chris Gets A One-On-One Date
Des and Chris get romantic on their one on one date, and I really want him to win! Chris stresses about not getting a chance to brush his teeth during his date, and that is not romantic at all. Chris talks about starting a family, and Desiree is head over heels for him. Chris reads some poetry and Des is literally swooning, and I do mean literally. They make out — this is Des after all — over dinner, and Des forgets all about Bryden.
Can we just call this all off and call Chris the winner?
Some up and coming artist appears to sing, and this is more romantic than The Notebook. I think Des may have found her husband!
And Chris gets a rose!
Sledding Gets Violent On Group Date
Des takes eight of her guys to the highest peak in Germany for sledding and more
“It’s nearly like we are inside of a cloud,” says Des. No, your are inside a cloud. Drew notes that he is “so excited” to share this experience with Des. You and seven other guys buddy!
The guys learn to yodel with an old German man, and it is hysterical. I admire their sense of humor, and then it is sledding time. Drew nearly takes Des out at one point, but she is such an awesome girl that she laughs it off.
Des and Brooks get romantic in an igloo, and yes, there is make out time. Once Des is done with Brooks, she makes out with James, and then she gets it on with Drew. Go get em girl; you wouldn’t buy a car without test driving it first.
Things get super homoerotic in the igloo, where James and Brooks appear to be cuddling. Well, it is snowing and it looks cold!
Brooks get the rose, and the other guys have serious bees in their bonnets about it.
The Worst Date Ever
Desiree wears a bikini and a wool hat to the worst date ever. She takes and Michael and Ben out on a lake in a weird hot tub time machine, and Michael picks away at Ben and calls him an absentee father, and it is the most AWKWARD date ever.
Michael attacks James for not going to mass on Easter Sunday, for not calling his son, for being dishonest. Man, he is a pig. Des should send them both home. She calls out Michael for attacking Ben, and I bet she is seriously wishing she was back in that igloo making out with Brooks.
Ben the snake plays his cards super well. He seems like a nice and caring father, while Michael comes across as a jealous loser.
However, Michael gets the rose, but I really think Des should have kept it for herself. Ben storms out and curses a lot, and the boys cheer so much when Michael arrives home instead of Ben.
The Guys Attack James
Kasey, Drew, Brooks and Chris are such a pile of girls. They sit around on a bed, basically braiding each other’s hair and they diss James because he implied that he wants to be the next Bachelor. What a tangled web he weaves! The guys insist they are looking out for Des, because they are all BFF’s ya’ll.
The guys play Billy Badasses and confront James, and he is not expecting it. Drew and Kasey decide to tell Desiree, because you know, they feel it is their business and they are not meddling at all. Right… Des forgoes the cocktail party and the boys look super nervous that they have no more time with Des.
The tense music plays and one by one those roses are handed out. Mikey is sent home, and the guys are pissed that James is staying. Poor Mikey; he never got to make out with Des.
Sidenote: Drew’s neck scarf is simply fantastic.
Make out count: #4
What do YOU think HollywoodLifers? Are you shocked that Bryden left? Are you shocked that James stayed?
