'America's Got Talent' Results: A Favorite Younger Act Gets The Boot Sep 5th 2013, 03:39, by Avery Thompson Wow. This week’s elimination was an emotional roller coaster for us. Even though we knew six acts were going to be eliminated, that didn’t soften the blow of some of our favorite acts going home. So, did your favorite(s) make the finals? America’s Got Talent toyed with our feelings in the Sept. 4 eliminations. We’ve grown attached to some of these acts and seeing them on stage for the last time is almost too much to take. Fall Out Boy also performed their hit single “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up).” ‘America’s Got Talent’ Sept. 4 Results American Military Spouses Choir, singer Branden James, and acrobat Timber Brown were the first acts up for elimination. It was no surprise that Branden moved on to the finals. Have you heard him sing? Yeah, there was no doubt about it. Chicago Boyz and the Kristef Brothers were up next. If one of these two acts is eliminated then we’ll just quit everything. Thankfully, BOTH are in the finals. Whew, our emotions are still in check. Country crooners Marty Brown and Jimmy Rose. Even though we have a soft spot for Marty, we ultimately knew it would be Jimmy who stayed in the competition. Next up were Illusionist Leon Etienne & Romy Low, comedian John Wing, and Kenichi Ebina. This was just cruel to Leon & Romy and John. Kenichi was obviously going on to the finals. This is where we get emotional. The final acts up for elimination are singing extraordinaire Anna Christine and dancers D’Angelo & Amanda. Seriously, they are just kids! Putting them against each other is just wrong. Nevertheless, it was up to the judges to decide. Heidi Klum went with D’Angelo & Amanda and Mel B went with Anna Christine. This is getting intense. Howard Stern goes with Anna Christine. Okay, we’re getting somewhere. Howie Mandel believes this is Sophie’s Choice of America’s Got Talent and he’s right. Yet, he doesn’t make it easier by choosing D’Angelo & Amanda. So, it’s back to the votes and America chooses… D’Angelo & Amanda! Poor Anna Christine. She was really coming into her own and to watch her go breaks our hearts. Passionate fans of ’50 Shades of Grey’ are refusing to accept the casting decisions for Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. It’s gotten so serious, a petition to recast the roles is now making the rounds on the Internet. After Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam were chosen to play Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the screen adaptation of E.L. James popular erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey, fans were quick to voice their hatred for the casting choices. In fact, the Greysessed masses are so upset that they created a petition calling for close contenders Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel to take on the roles instead. Read on for all the details! ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Petition — Fans Want Alexis Bledel & Matt Bomer Cast The petition on Change.org argues that Matt and Alexis are perfect for the roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. Here’s why: Matt Bomer is the PERFECT DESCRIPTION OF CHRISTIAN GREY AND ALEXIS BLEDEL IS THE PERFECT ACTRESS TO REPRESENT ANASTASIA STEELE and if THEY ARE NOT, NOBODY WILL BE. And I read the whole trilogy and I can assure that Matt is the perfect actor for this movie and Alexis too. So please PLEASE, all of the GREYsessed and Bomerettes in the world NEED those actors. They always will be for us the Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. WE CAN DO ANYTHING GUYS, ANYTHING. It seems as though they’re making quite a case! The petition reached almost 38,000 signatures as of the evening of Sept. 4. These all the same die-hard fans who, when the movie was first announced, went so far as to create fake trailers for the film by mashing up old clips of Alexis and Matt. Both stars were flattered by fans’ reactions and extremely interested in playing the parts of Christian and Ana. We can’t help but wonder if they’d still be up for it! ‘Fifty Shades’ Author & Producers Fight Back Author E.L. James wasn’t thrilled about her readers’ strong reactions. Neither were producers Dana Brunetti and Michael De Luca, who firmly stand by their casting decisions — which, by the way, are not up for negotiation. “There is a lot that goes into casting that isn’t just looks,” Brunetti tweeted on Monday. “Talent, availability, their desire to do it, chemistry with other actor, etc, so if your favorite wasn’t cast, then it is most likely due to something on that list. Keep that in mind while hating and keep perspective.” He does have a point! And who knows? Maybe these two Hollywood newbies will surprise us! After all, there was a time when Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were nobodies too. Just one question — how do we get those lashes? Nicole Richie, 31, walked a clean line on the red carpet of the 2013 Style Awards in New York City — and we mean that literally. Her hair and makeup were both natural and sharp — we love it! Nicole Richie’s Makeup & Hair At 2013 Style Awards — Get Her Lashes The Style Awards host’s peepers were the focal point of her look, with her eyes standing out amidst feathery, dark lashes framing her face. To get the same effect, use LANCÔME DÉFINICILS High Definition Mascara in Extra Black for an added pop. The thin wand defines and coats each lash so well that you won’t even need eyeliner — which is precisely why Nicole didn’t need to use any. Curling the ends with an eyelash curler will help lashes look more feathery, though. She topped her eye makeup off with glimmering gold eye cream, making them stand out even more. A pale pink gloss and peachy cheeks topped off her look. Nicole also looked chic and clean with a severely cut and straightened bob, just grazing the top of her shoulders. Ariana Grande may have been one of the youngest in the house, but she looked absolutely amazing in a cute blue and white dress, before hitting the stage to perform “Tattooed Heart” at Lincoln Center. Ariana Grande’s Style Awards Adorable Floral Dress At the Style Awards, put on by Penske Media Corporation (PMC), SWW Creative, and IMG Fashion, it was a night full of glitz and glamour. Ariana, 20, was no different — she looked absolutely adorable in a white dress that was decorated with a blue floral pattern. The dress hit a few inches below her knee, showing off her basic nude pumps. Her sleek brown hair was half up in her signature high ponytail, with the bottoms curled, framing her face perfectly. She paired the dress with a red lip, which was a perfect way to add a sexier look to the floral dress. Ariana To Perform ‘Tattooed Heart’ It’s been a successful few weeks for Ariana! She performed at the MTV Video Music Awards pre-show, which everyone loved!
