From Justin to Justin! The original Prince of Pop, Mr. Timberlake, is releasing new music in 2013 and the Biebs gives his approval after a first listen, calling the new material 'great music.'
Justin Timberlakeis releasing a new album in 2013 (a FULL album, unlike Destiny's Child), which he confirmed Jan. 10 with a video posted to his official website. Showing respect to his elder, Justin Bieber revealed on Twitter that he is a huge fan of Justin Timberlake and Timbaland's new material!
Justin, 31, tweeted to his fan on Jan. 10, "@jtimberlake @Timbaland i have heard some stuff. u got a good reason to be ready. #greatmusic."
"I've only done two albums in 10 years," Justin says in his announcement video, as he's seen walking into a studio. "What does the next decade mean for me?" "I don't want to put anything out that I feel is something I don't love," he continues. "You just don't get that every day. You have to wait for it. … I'm ready." Justin, 31, originally stirred up a fan frenzy Jan. 9 with a cryptic tweet alluding to his big release. "Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at 9:01 am PST…" he tweeted to his more-than-15 million followers. Then, on Jan. 10, Justin released the video, which started a countdown to the release of his brand new single on Jan. 14 at midnight! An additional report on Perez Hilton suggests that Beyonce and Jay-Z may be featured on the Timbaland, 40, produced track! What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Will you buy Justin Timberlake's new album?

The group will reportedly perform its new song 'Nuclear,' plus some of its greatest hits!
When we first heard that Destiny's Child is reuniting for a "new" album — Love Songs only actually contains one new song, titled "Nuclear" — we speculated that Kelly Rowlandand non-Dawson's Creek Michelle Williamsmight be joining Beyoncéon stage Feb. 3 for her Super Bowl XLVII halftime show performance. Now, a report from Us Weekly claims the ladies will in fact come together on the big stage to perform several of their greatest hits! Beyoncé will open the halftime show by her self, the source says, before being joined by Kelly, 31, and Michelle, 32, for a medley of Destiny's Child chart toppers. Following those songs, the ladies will reportedly perform their brand-new song "Nuclear." Then, perhaps symbolic of their history as a group, Kelly and Michelle will leave the stage and allow Beyoncé to claim the spotlight for herself. At that time, the source says, Beyoncé will perform a new song from her as-yet-untitled fifth album.
Destiny's Child Reuniting After Eight Years Apart
It's hard to believe it's been eight years since Beyoncé, Kelly and Michelle have put out new music as a group — and yet, it really has been that long. Beyoncé used her official website to announced the news Jan. 10, writing, "I am so proud to announced the first original Destiny's Child music in eight years." Kelly "Kelendria" Rowland also shared a few words, via Twitter: "Hi guys! I'm happy to announce new music from Destiny's Child in eight years!" Michelle also (sort of) chimed in with her thoughts, tweeting a link to her Facebook page, where a generic description of the Love Songs album could be found. (Not for nothing, but you'd think the three of them would have more to say about their reunion, or at least would seem more excited about the album. Fans are freaking out!)

The star stunned in a fabulous frock, making her one of the best dressed stars on the red carpet! Did you love her look as much as I did?
Nina Dobrev made her red carpet debut in 2013 at the Critics' Choice Awards at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on Jan. 10, where the star looked stunning in a Monique Lhuillier dress from the Spring 2013 collection. The 24-year-old, who was on hand to present, opted for a gorgeous cocktail dress in a vibrant turquoise. The keyhole detailing at the neckline broke up the sweet silhouette, while a round tulip skirt kept the ensemble flirty and fun. The coloring of the dress looked beautiful against Nina's skin tone and she looked so cool and confident coming down the red carpet! The Vampire Diaries star pulled her hair back in a sleek ponytail, keeping the focus on her fabulous frock, while nude makeup completed her red carpet look. The embellished dress featured sparkling gems, making the intricate dress really stand out — and Nina looked amazing! She paired the ensemble with very simple, (yet chic!), black Brian Atwood 'Evie' sandals, which featured a thin ankle strap. The star didn't really accessorize the look, and I thought that was a winning choice. From the embellishments to the color, the dress has so much detailing — and over-accessorizing the look would have taken away from that. Talk about starting off the year on the right foot! If this is a preview of what we can expect to see from the star in the upcoming year I really can't wait! Personally, I think this is one of Nina's best looks ever. The star is really growing up, and I love watching her red carpet style evolve. What do you think? Did you like the vibrant dress as much as I did?
Like mother, like son! The Victoria's Secret model took her adorable baby boy with her to the gym — and decked him out in a matching striped shirt! Too cute!
Miranda Kerr stays doesn't stay in impeccable model shape by slacking off, so it was no shock to see the Victoria's Secret Angel heading to the gym on Jan. 9 — and she took her adorable baby boy Flynn with her!
Miranda sported a black-and-white striped shirt and big black sunglasses, while her baby boy rocked blue and gray stripes. The gorgeous model, who is married to actor Orlando Bloom, welcomed her baby boy Flynn in January 2011 — and he is just as gorgeous as his parents!
Miranda's Son Flynn Has 'Bieber Fever'

"My son definitely has Bieber fever," she said. She also added "He's so interactive at the moment. He can sing the ABCs." So adorable! We love seeing these two out and about. What do YOU think of Miranda and Flynn HollyMoms?
Demi has been living in a sober living house for more than a year, according to a new report. How surprising!
Demi Lovato is allegedly so adamant about staying on the straight and narrow. A new report claims that The X Factor judge moved into a sober living facility in the Los Angeles area, following her inpatient rehab stint in 2010.
Demi, 20, does not want to fall back into her problems with anorexia, bulimia and cutting, so she's decided to stay in the facility, where she can get support and guidance from counselors and other addicts who understood her situation, TMZ reports. Demi does own a home in Los Angeles, but she allegedly chooses to stay at the facility instead. TMZ further reports that during the entire season of X Factor, Demi felt it was best to come home to the facility, where she wouldn't lose her way. It's undetermined how long Demi will stay in the facility, but if she's allowed to come and go as she pleases, perhaps it'll serve as a longterm solution to her alleged problems like Britney Spears' conservatorship.
Demi did appear to have a minor meltdown on the social media site after a number of news outlets reported on a tweet the star posted about friendship. "I don't get how people get 'stories' from very vague twitter posts…About friendship….??" Demi tweeted on Jan. 4. She followed that up with, "Blehh. I really love my fans but I hate gossip sites…Gonna take a breather from twitter..I love y'all!" What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Do you think Demi needs to live in the facility?

Ryan Heber is a quiet hero. The popular high school teacher is said to have told the gunman very calmly, to put his weapon down. That was what allowed the 28 students to quickly flee their classroom and avoid being killed.
What Ryan Said To The Student
"I don't want to shoot you," the gunman told Ryan. To which he then calmly told the student to put his gun down.
What Happened At Taft Union High School
A 16-year-old burst into a classroom around 9am and shot a teen before firing off a few more rounds. The victim is said to have played football for the school and is in critical yet stable condition. A friend of the student was also hit in the shoulder but was okay. "I hate to be crappy about it," one parent said. "But that kid was bullying him. All I ever heard about him was good things from my son. He wasn't Mr. Popularity, but he was a smart kid. It's a shame. My kid said he was like a genius. It's a shame because he could have made something of himself."
What Happens Now
The student will be charged with attempted murder and now the District Attorney must decide if he's charged as an adult. They will not release his name because he's so young.
Quvenzhané made Oscar history, not only as the youngest actress ever to be nominated in the Best Actress category, but she will become the youngest winner ever if she takes home the golden statue on Feb. 24!
Quvenzhané Wallis is only 9-years-old, but she has a more impressive career than many actresses four times her age. On Jan. 10, she became the youngest Oscar nominee ever in the Best Actress category for her performance in Beasts of the Southern Wild. In a film that President Barack Obama told People he found to be "spectacular", Quvenzhané plays Hushpuppy, a young girl that is struggling to survive with her ailing father in the southern Delta as a storm approaches. Read on to see what Quvenzhané had to say about her nomination.
Quvenzhané Becomes Youngest Best Actress Nominee
On Jan. 10, Emma Stone and Seth MacFarlane announced the 2013 Academy Award nominations. History was made because not only is Quvenzhané the youngest nominee ever for Best Actress, but her rival Emmanuelle Riva is now the oldest nominee ever in the same category. At 85-years-old, Emmanuelle is nominated for her part in Amour. Quvenzhané spoke about her nomination and said to The Wrap: "Everyone who made Beasts happen is so happy! Thank you to all you Oscar folks, from me, my mom and my dad. I am so happy for Benh and Lucy and the gang in Louisiana. Meeting all these great new people is one of the best parts for me. I want to thank my family, friends, fans and everyone so much. Beast it!" And, if Quvenzhané wins, she will become the youngest Oscar winner of all time, knocking out Tatum O'Neill, who was 10-years-old when she won Best Supporting Actress for her role in Paper Moon in 1974. It really could be Quvenzhané's year — not only did she receive news of her Oscar nomination on Jan. 10, but she also won an award for Best Young Actor at the 18th Critics Choice Award, where she received a congratulatory hug from Ben Affleck. Quvenzhané is receiving high praise for her performance from her peers, as actress Busy Phillips tweeted, "And the performance that little Quvenzhane Wallis gave rivals anything that I've seen this year. It is beautiful." Quvenzhané will have to beat out Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain, Naomi Watts and Emmanuelle for the win. What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Do YOU think Quvenzhané will win on Feb. 24?
Max has most recently been linked to Hollywood's bad girl Lindsay Lohan, but after that brief romance fizzled out, it looks like Max has set his sights on someone more clean cut like Taylor. In an interview with E! Online on Jan. 9, he said "She's a very attractive girl. I'm just a bit short [for her]." Think big, Max! Max's bandmates from The Wanted were quick to dish out some romantic advice for notoriously unlucky-in-love Taylor, as Nathan Sykes said that Taylor can "write a whole album about [being single]." Well that's just stating the obvious! Jay McGuiness offered better advice when he said, "I think she should stay single for a bit." Harry, 18, proved to be too much "trouble, trouble, trouble", and he and Taylor, 23, split after an explosive fight on the Virgin Islands on Jan. 4. And while Taylor fled the island looking sad, Harry has since been seen partying with a series of attractive women. Perhaps Taylor needs a more mature guy? At 24-years-old, Max may be a good choice.
Harry Style's Women
After Harry and Taylor split, Harry was seen partying on Necker Island with Richard Branson and Hermione Way, an attractive blonde reality TV star. Harry was seen flirting and splashing around with Hermione, and only days later he was seen out with a mystery blonde in London on Jan. 8. And most recently, Harry was seen leaving the GQ party in London with the sexy Welsh actress Alexandra Roach, 25, on Jan. 9. He is not sitting around, so why should Taylor? While Harry was partying with Alexandra, Taylor attended the People's Choice Awards where she looked HOT as she retrieved an award for Favorite Country Artist. After the awards, Taylor headed home as she tweeted: "Sitting here with my new People's Choice award and Chinese food take out, watching Law and Order. Thank you for a beautiful night:)." That's a slippery slope Taylor — don't get too comfortable in your PJs while Harry is out painting the town red! What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Taylor stay single, or get her revenge by dating Max?
What Momsense is Bones up to? Where is Castle boldly going? Which Grey's romance is about to flatline? How will NCIS' Ziva react to tragedy? Read on for answers to those questions plus teases from other shows. Castle | Valentine's Day may star Cupid, but a different baby is on Detective Ryan's mind as the holiday rolls around. Seamus Dever tells us, "There are some very romantic things going on with the rest of the precinct… and some very non-romantic things going on with the Ryans, because he's got to rush home because Jenny's temperature is the correct time and she's ovulating… all those sorts of things. Ryan is actively being a participant in the child-making process!" The following week, Castle launches its annual two-parter, which guest-stars Dylan Walsh as an FBI agent. What more can Dever add? Not much and yet plenty. "I'm not allowed to say anything, but it goes to a place we've never been allowed to go," he teased. "[Show boss] Andrew Marlowe said we can only do this once, so we're going to do it now. It's very bold, what he's doing." Bones | Before you start seeking Season 9 scoop, know there's plenty of fun stuff still on tap for this winter/spring. For one, Emily Deschanel told me, there's an episode in which Brennan uncovers the remains of a caveman but don't you dare call it a "caveman" in her presence. There's also a case that deals with time travel (?). But the episode Deschanel described as emotionally "sweet" is the one where Bones meets her maker. And/or meets her maker. "Brennan gets shot, and she either hallucinates and sees her [late] mother, or she goes to Heaven and has an encounter with her mother (played by Brooke Langston), but she doesn't believe it." What do the women talk about after so much time "apart"? "There are emotions as we discuss things [including] what my life is like now, the baby," Deschanel shared. "It's really sweet." Grey's Anatomy | It looks like Bailey's runaway bride act ― although for ostensibly a noble reason will also send her man running in the other direction, and perhaps for good. Jason George, who was at the Television Critics Association press tour today to promote his ABC summer series Mistresses, gave me this ominous preview: "The reason when Ben and Bailey are together is because he isn't a chump, he doesn't take stuff lying down. And it's safe to say he's not the kind of guy who just gets left standing at the altar. So… we're going to 'have a conversation.' He's a man of action ―I'll put it that way!" Arrow | We met up with Stephen Amell at the People's Choice Awards, and he set the table for the CW hit's next new episode, airing Wednesday. "It's six weeks later, and we're finding Oliver in a very different spot than he was before. A very, very different spot," he shared. How so? "We haven't seen him hesitate, and we haven't seen him be down a bit on himself or lack confidence. And all those things are on display." Of course, the Dark Archer aka Malcolm Merlyn's own alter ego is responsible for knocking Arrow down a peg or two in the winter finale, so expect to get backstory on that baddie. "We learn a bit more about his character soon," Amell previewed, "about why he's doing what he's doing." Revenge | Another mystery is on its way to the ABC drama… in the form of a casting call. The sophomore sudser is looking to fill the role of Eli, an African-American or Latino male in his early-to-mid 20s who is described as "charismatic,""witty" and (duh) "handsome." Hitting the Hamptons under mysterious circumstances, Eli quickly charms his way into the good graces of the local elite. Hit comments with your casting suggestions! But wait, there is so, so much more. Like, reader mail! This week's NCIS was heartbreaking! Any scoop on what's ahead for Ziva? Daniel Coming soon, I'll have a big ol' deep-dive piece previewing the aftermath of this week's double whammy. But for now I'll let slip this morsel from showrunner Gary Glasberg: "There's a part of Ziva's that's wounded, and broken, and Tony is there for her ― as a friend, and as a coworker." Specifically, in the next episode, "We end up back in Tony's apartment, and there's some really lovely, emotional stuff that happens." You know that picture of Matthew Gray Gubler on the set of Criminal Minds, in a tux and in a church? Who's getting married? It's killing me! Makayla I actually didn't know the photo of which you spoke, but tracked it down ― and then procured this teaselet from Breen Frazier, who wrote Episode 12. "You'll find out [all your answers] in the first scene," he allowed. Are Duffy and Limehouse going to be part of Justified this season? Scott Wynn Duffy (played by Jere Burns) resurfaces in Episode 2, in a darkly amusing scene involving one of his stooges and (of course) Raylan holding a gun. (Expect Duffy to ultimately get deeply involved in this season's arc.) And yes, I learned the other day that Mykelti Williamson will return as Noble's Holler overlord Limehouse, after series boss Graham Yost found a way to meaningfully weave him into Season 4′s narrative.
The first official painting of the Duchess of Cambridge was revealed to harsh reviews January 10, 2013. Critics say it looks nothing like Kate in real life–she looks older and has a sour expression! Do you think the Duchess deserves a better rendering? Sound off below!
Kate Middleton, 31, one of the most elegant and beautiful royals (and women) in the world, just got her portrait painted and revealed at London's National Portrait Gallery to the shock of many. The painting was described as 'rotten' and looks 'nothing like Kate in real life'. The portrait was painted by Paul Emsley, who's known for his photographic style.
Kate Middleton's portrait gets harsh criticism Sunday Times art critic Waldemar Januszczak called the portrait 'pretty ordinary… He made her look older than she is and her eyes don't sparkle in the way that they do and there's something rather dour about the face.' Robin Simon, editor of the British Art Journal and Daily Mail art critic, said today: 'Fortunately, the Duchess of Cambridge looks nothing like this in real life. 'I'm really sad to say this is a rotten portrait.'
Januszczak told BBC News: "I was disappointed, to be honest. I have been waiting for it, like everybody else, with great expectation because the Duchess of Cambridge is someone who we know likes art and was presumably going to be an enlightened patron. But I think she's been let down really by the picture. In the end, it's yet another pretty ordinary painting of a royal of the sort that we've been really churning out for the last few hundred years in Britain." The painting shows the Duchess in a green bow blouse wearing a pair of earrings that were a wedding gift. Kate looks about 20 years older thanks to creases under her eyes and has an expression that looks like a grimace. Emsley, who has also painted Nelson Mandela, wanted to capture her 'charm, serenity and intelligence' as well as her 'sparkling green eyes'. But it seems like he missed a few strokes. Emsley had said: 'The Duchess explained to me that she would like to be portrayed naturally – her natural self as opposed to her official self. She struck me as enormously open and generous and a very warm person. 'After initially feeling it was going to be an unsmiling portrait, I think it was the right choice in the end to have her smiling – that is really who she is.' Kate posed for the portrait before she got pregnant, over two sittings in May and June at the artist's studio in Bradford-upon-Avon, Wiltshire and at Kensington Palace. Kate, William and the entire Middleton family – Carole, Michael, James and Pippa – went for a private viewing of the portrait this morning before it was publicly unveiled. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were first to congratulate the artist on his work. 'I thought it was brilliant,' said Kate. 'It's just amazing. Absolutely brilliant.' She studied the portraitfor 10 minutes before indicating that she was pleased with the way he had captured her around her mouth and nose. Prince William had a similar reaction 'It's beautiful. Absolutely beautiful,' he said.
HollywoodLifers, do YOU think Kate & Wills were just being polite about liking the portrait? We think a redux is in order! Sound off below!
