Kriss Kross Rapper Chris Kelly Dead At 34 May 2nd 2013, 04:13 Chris Kelly — Best known as one half of the iconic rap group Kris Kross has tragically died at the age of 34. How sad! Back in the ’90′s if you didn’t listen and love the monster hit, “Jump” you may have never listened to music. Now one half of the amazing group is gone forever! How tragic! Chris Kelly Dies In Atlanta Chris Kelly died at the south campus of the Atlanta Medical Center. Chris, who was made famous for wearing his clothing backwards and having one of the greatest pop hits of all time was found unconscious in his home on May 1 and pronounced dead around 5:30PM EST according to FOX 5 in Atlanta. There is currently no answers on the cause of his death. Chris was 34. Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office said an autopsy is planned for Thursday. Chris Kelly’s Legacy Chris was joined by his rap partner Chris Smith, and both became instant stars in 1992 with the epic jam “Jump,” which was a Billboard Top 100 smash charting at #1 for eight consecutive weeks! His stage name was the Mac Daddy. The multiplatinum selling group was founded by hip hop legend Jermaine Dupri when they both were 13. 'American Idol' Recap: Nicki Minaj Tells Mariah Carey To Clean Her Ears May 2nd 2013, 02:53 The top four sang classics and songs from 2013 on the May 1 episode of ‘American Idol’ — one girl clearly dominated as the judges exchanged words! Guest mentor Harry Connick Jr. joined judges Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson as the top four battled once again in hopes to move onto hometown week. Who was your favorite tonight, HollywoodLifers? ‘American Idol:’ The Top 4 Sing Songs From 2013 Angie Miller sang "Diamonds" by Rihanna. "I love that song" Keith said, but he thought the acoustic arrangement limited her vocals. "This seemed different from any one of your other piano performances. It was bland. It was lack-luster. You can do a lot better," Nicki said. Randy didn't love it. Amber Holcolmb sang Pink's "Just Give Me A Reason." Nicki liked her jeans but felt that her performance wasn't really relatable. Randy said she didn’t seem like she was having fun. “That was not stellar,” Randy said. Candice Glover sang “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars. Without changing the lyrics! “Let me just say, this is a singing competitions first and foremost. If you can sing, you can sing anything. That’s how you sing a song! Congratulations. That was amazing!” Randy raved. Keith said it was a winning performance. Nicki said it deserved a standing ovation, so they gave her one! Nicki said she was the first girl to make the song feel like their own. Kree Harrison sang Carrie Underwood’s “See You Again.” During the mentoring session, Harry even said he liked Kree’s version better than Carrie’s. Mariah said she felt very connected and authentic. Keith said her voice was “faultless.” Nicki loved it and said she sang with her eyes. The Top 4 Sing Standards Angie sang “Someone To Watch Over Me.” Keith said she sang it so beautifully that the “old” song choice didn’t matter. Nicki said she reminds her of a Disney Princess or that maybe she belongs on Broadway. Randy said it was an amazing vocal. Mariah said she doesn’t sound like a Princess and Nicki proceeded to take a Q-tip from her makeup bag and told Mariah to clean out her ears! Amber sang “My Funny Valentine” and got a standing ovation from all four judges. “That was so beautiful,” Nicki raved. And then Amber and Nicki started to cry! Randy said the performance was unbelievable and stellar. Candice sang “You’ve Changed” by Billie Holiday and got a standing ovation from all four judges. “That was stellar. Speak your truth girl, that was amazing,” Randy said. “The only critique is I’m downloading that ASAP! Thank you so much for this performance,” Mariah said. Kree sang “Stormy Weather.” Mariah said she was surprised by the song choice but thought the vocal was “clear as a bell and beautiful.” Keith told her not to lose her instincts. According to her plea deal, Lindsay was supposed to go to rehab at a facility in West Hampton Beach, NY, but the actress ignored the court order and reportedly jetted off to a rehab center in California instead! Read on for exclusive details! When will Lindsay Lohan learn? The 26-year-old actress has violated her plea deal by hopping a plane to California, and could face potential jail time for her decision. We already told you that Lindsay was planning to go to Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, Calif. instead of her assigned rehab facility in New York, and now she’s on her way there! Lindsay Lohan Violates Plea Deal & Flies To California Lindsay boarded a private plane in NYC heading for California, according to TMZ. She is expected to serve her court ordered rehab at Morningside Recovery, and prosecutors have not signed off on Lindsay’s change in rehab facilities. Lindsay was ordered by the court to attend Seafield Center in Westhampton Beach, NY, but she freaked out when she found out that Seafield wouldn’t allow her to smoke. Lindsay chose to go to Morningside Recovery instead because she would be able to smoke at that facility. By flying to California, Lindsay has violated her plea deal. Lindsay’s attorneys are supposed to present proof of enrollment at Seafield on May 2. If the judge thinks Lindsay has violated her plea deal, he can send her to jail for 90 days. Michael Lohan Thinks Going To Morningside Is A Mistake HollywoodLife.com spoke to Lindsay's dad, Michael Lohan, and he told us he disagrees with Lindsay’s decision to go to Morningside. “Lindsay has communicated to me and even the owners and clinicians at The Lukens Institute in Palm Beach that she wants to go there," Michael tell us. "But Mark Heller [Lindsay's attorney] cut a deal to get a referral fee if she goes to Morningside in Newport Beach. Ironically, the same rehab who has had mutiple legal issues and even leaked that she was going there about a year ago but never did. Although the City Attorney will allow Lindsay to go to Lukens, Mark  lied to her and said she she is not approved. Why? Because Lukens doesn't pay off people like Morningside does! Cory Monteith & Lea Michele Enjoy Cute Date With His Mom — New Pic May 1st 2013, 22:01 Now that Cory is out of rehab, it’s clear he’s enjoying every minute of it! A new fan pic caught Lea, Cory and his mom on an outing in Victoria, British Columbia on April 30 and that’s not all! Read on to find out where else they went. Lea Michele must be thrilled that her man is back! The couple were spotted boarding a flight out of LAX on April 26 and now it’s been revealed that they’re actually vacationing in Cory Monteith‘s hometown. They’re clearly having a blast because Lea tweeted a romantic pic of the sunset. Cory Monteith & Lea Michele Enjoy Coffee Date Cory and Lea looked super happy to be hanging out grabbing some coffee with his mom Ann. It’s funny how he looks straight at the fan who is taking the pic. We can all assume that he’s thrilled to be out of rehab. We told you that he left rehab and raced right back to Lea on April 26. Lea has been super supportive of Cory and we told you that she was the driving force for him to get help. Cory and Lea also hit up Barb’s Fish & Chips Floating Seafood restaurant for some fried fish — sounds delicious! Lea even took a pic of of the sunset on May 1 with the message: “Another beautiful day.” Cory Is Super Thrilled With Support From His Fans While Cory was in rehab he tweeted: “Sending out big love to everyone. thank you for the continued support! It means the world to me! :)” So sweet! We’re so happy that Cory and Lea are spending a lot of time together and everything is back together. 'Awkward' Star Nikki DeLoach Gets Back To Her Dramatic Roots On 'CSI' May 1st 2013, 21:56 Nikki tells HollywoodLife.com to keep a close eye on her ‘brown-nosing’ character tonight! Nikki DeLoach is pulling a bait-and-switch this week. Just one night after making us laugh on Awkward — that was the most uncomfortable dinner party ever, and I loved it — she’ll be guest starring on the May 1 episode of CSI, playing a character she describes to HollywoodLife.com as being “quite the opposite of Lacey.” Nikki says her character Heather is a “brown-noser” suspected of murdering one of her co-workers during a company wilderness retreat. But did she do it? “I don’t want to give away too much, but I will say that she tries to put up a very serious front,” Nikki teases. “As the episode goes on, you’ll see her start to break.” Still, Nikki tells us it’s nice to return to her dramatic roots — the funny lady is also a veteran of Fox’s North Shore, NBC’s Days Of Our Lives, and most recently, The CW’s Ringer — and that the CSI cast and crew couldn’t have been more welcoming. “After 13 seasons, it would be really easy for them to get really tired of what they do,” Nikki recognized. “But they love what they do, and they’re all so happy to be there. I couldn’t have had a better time.” Nikki’s episode of CSI airs at 10 p.m. ET on May 1! Robert Pattinson, while I think it’s great that you’re standing by Kristen Stewart‘s side as she helps her mom through her difficult divorce, a new report claims that you’re not getting along too well with Jules Stewart — and that’s not OK! “[Living with Jules] has all but killed their love life," a source tells OK! Magazine of you and Kristen. "Neither Kristen nor Rob has any libido when Jules is around." I know it might be difficult to keep your hands to yourselves, because you and Kristen are so in love, but you’ll just have to cool your jets while Jules is around. She’s going through a difficult divorce right now, and you’ll have plenty of alone-time with Kristen down the road.
