Kris, Khloe needs your love and support now more than ever as she decides whether she should stand by her husband, Lamar. You need to be there for her and remember that this decision is ultimately up to your daughter, not you — or anyone else in your family, for that matter.
Kris Jenner, we hear you are so worried about your daughter, Khloe Kardashian, that you’re urging her to divorce Lamar Odom as he struggles with his alleged drug addiction. Lamar is obviously causing Khloe tremendous heartache, and it’s totally understandable that you would want to save her from all that pain, but you have to understand that this is something Khloe needs to work through on her own.
Kris Jenner, Pressuring Khloe Kardashian To Divorce Lamar Odom Is Not Helping Her
Kris, your concerns about Lamar are totally justified. You see him as a professional liability who has nothing to offer your family right now, and someone who is hurting your daughter and causing her to worry incessantly because she doesn’t even know where he is or what he’s doing. Worst of all, Lamar hasn’t even committed to rehab yet, so there is no telling when this nightmare will end for Khloe. There are many reasons for you to be worried about Khloe, and I can see why, from a mother’s point of view, you would want her to make a clean split from Lamar.
But, Kris, even if Lamar is a drug addict, Khloe still loves him, and she’s probably frantic that he is going to endanger himself or worse. You need to set your concerns aside for the moment and stop urging Khoe to leave Lamar. Your job as a mother is not to pressure Khloe right now, but to listen to her and support her.
The last thing that Khloe needs right now is more pressure than she’s already under, and if you keep pushing her, you might damage your relationship with her forever.
Kris, Telling Khloe To Leave Lamar Will Only Drive Her Away
Kris, it must be awful to see your daughter in so much pain, but you need to be there for her during this difficult time.
Khloe is already turning to her friends instead of her family, and that is probably because you and the other Kardashians are driving an emotional wedge between yourselves and Khloe by telling her what to do. Right now, Khloe needs all the loving support she can get from her mother and her sisters and her brother. You all need to listen to her and say reassuring things. You need to let her go through all the stages of shock and denial, until she can finally accept the reality of Lamar’s problem and make more measured decisions about her future and whether she wants to be with Lamar.
Khloe is in the thick of a crisis right now. Her husband’s drug use is getting completely out of control to the point where he’s disappeared and he’s not even talking to her. Kris, you have to realize that Khloe is probably full of anxiety and she’s not sleeping or eating properly. It’s going to take her a while to figure out what she wants to do about Lamar, and you need to be patient.
Kris, You Need To Let Khloe Decide If Lamar Is The One For Her
Kris, as Khloe’s mother and manager, I can see why you think Lamar is no longer suitable for your daughter. He’s unemployed, he’s going through major cash, and he won’t even participate in Keeping Up With the Kardashians right now. I’m sure you think Khloe can find someone who would make her happier than Lamar ever could, and someone who would be more amenable to taking the Kardashians to the next level of fame and fortune. But you shouldn’t be focusing on helping your family brand right now, Kris — you should be focusing on helping your daughter.
Khloe may still have to go through more of Lamar’s awful drug antics, and she may choose to stick with him if he makes a final commitment to going into rehab. It could be a long, long time before she’s ready to make a decision about the future of her marriage. The bottom line is that it’s her decision, not yours or Bruce Jenner‘s or Rob Kardashian‘s or Kim Kardashian‘s or Kourtney Kardashian‘s.
It’s not up to you because you’re not the person who’s going to live with Lamar. Kris, the only thing you and your family should be doing right now is giving Khloe a tremendous amount of love and support so that she knows that she has a safe and accepting family environment to be her nonjudgemental refuge. You all just have to keep your lips zipped and your opinions to yourselves — especially you, Kris. Because I’m warning you, if you keep harping on Khoe, you will hurt her relationship with her in the long run.
