High heels — aren’t they the darndest thing? We’re sure Carrie Underwood thinks so after her fashionable footwear got caught on the back of her long caftan shirt and pulled her to the ground in front of thousands of fans!
Carrie Underwood Falls Hard In Concert
Carrie was belting out one of her hits in Corpus Christi, Tex. on Sept. 5 when her wardrobe got all tangled and she fell flat on her butt. To her credit, she seemed to take the fall in stride, as she continued singing from the stage floor.
After the show, the 30-year-old proved that she had a great sense of humor about the entire (possibly embarrassing) episode, taking to Twitter to crack jokes about herself. “Hey, remember that time in Corpus Christi when that girl busted her butt on stage? Oh wait, that was me! #5inchheels #klutz,” Carrie tweeted.
Unfortunately though, while the tumble didn’t do Carrie any emotional damage, she didn’t get out unscathed. Tweeting a picture of her foot in a soft cast, Carrie said, “Good news, it’s not broken…AND I got some new footwear!”
As if we needed more proof that Carrie was one of the most graceful, carefree celebs around, this reaction is just perfect. But ladies, you’ve been warned about the dangers of spiked high heels. Be careful!
