What to Watch: 5 Web Series Worth Checking Out

Mad love is in the air as The Bachelor parody resurfaces for a second season, scientists and engineers talk dish on their "secret lives," and Zach Galifianakis gets ready for Oscar night by interviewing nominees while flanked by ferns. Plus, The Lizzie Bennet Diaries continues to reel us in with its addicting storylines.

Burning Love: Season 2 | In the debut season of the completely ridiculous (but utterly awesome) sendup of The Bachelor, Julie Gristlewhite (June Diane Raphael) was one of many single ladies competing for the bachelor. This time around, the guys are competing for her affections. Michael Ian Black (This Is 40) is back as the host, along with an impressive list of guest stars: Jerry O’Connell (NTSF:SD:SUV), Martin Starr (Party Down), Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation), Nick Kroll (Kroll Show), Colin Hanks (Dexter), Michael Cera (Arrested Development), Ryan Hansen (Veronica Mars) and Adam Brody (The O.C.). Although Julie's Italian roller-skating ex-fiancé left her in shambles, she's claims to be ready to open the "Ellis Island of her heart" again.

The Secret Life of Scientists & Engineers | As the title suggests, this Emmy-nominated, WGBH-TV-produced web series takes a peek into the lives of scientists and engineers via first-person interviews that highlight their "science" and their "secrets." For instance, a fashion technologist discusses her love of snowboarding, while in another episode, an evolutionary anthropologist moonlights as a stand-up comedian. The latest episode features Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory) explaining her real-life role as a neuroscientist and why she is equally happy and satisfied by being an artist.

82nd & Fifth | In this new, year-long web series produced by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, 100 "world-changing" works of art will be discussed by their curators. After web audiences watch the video, they have the option to browse photos of the piece in more detail. Artwork covered so far includes the Curtain of the Tabernacle and Andrés Segovia's guitar, which was created by Hermann Hauser. The most current video takes a close look at a sketch done in chalk by Michelangelo Buonarroti. This series is a fascinating way to get a glimpse into the labor behind amazing works.

Between Two Ferns: Oscar Buzz Edition | Funny man Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) interrogates and offends Oscar nominees Jessica Chastain, Bradley Cooper, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Lawrence and more on his wacky one-on-one interview series. In true Academy Award show style, when Zach's out of questions, he plays his guests off the set.

The Lizzie Bennet Diaries | Fresh off its Streamy Award wins, this online adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice continues to impress. In the latest chapter, Lizzie is determined to get away from her angst-ridden vlogs. Much to her surprise, Bing Lee (Jane Bennet's former love interest) resurfaces with a sweet treat and the desire to talk with Jane. Will she make time for him? Celebrate the 200th anniversary of the book's first publication by checking out episodes from the reimagined series.

While hosting the 2013 Independent Spirit Awards on Feb. 23, Andy made light of Oscar’s ongoing murder case. It may have earned laughs from the audience, but was it appropriate to joke about so soon?

The case of Oscar Pistorius, the Paralympic runner who’s been charged with the premeditated murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in South Africa, isn’t exactly a laughing matter. So, what’s with 2013 Independent Spirit Awards host Andy Samberg cracking jokes about it during his opening monologue?

No surprise here — Brandi didn’t exactly hold back on her feelings about Adrienne’s relationship with 32-year-old beau Sean Stewart. Keep reading to see what the ‘RHOBH’ star said about her castmate!

Brandi Glanville confided in HollywoodLife.com exclusively that she still can’t stand to think of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Adrienne Maloof, even though Paul Nassif is out of the picture.

Brandi Glanville Doesn’t Even Want To Think About Adrienne Maloof’s Relationship

When we asked her what she thought about Adrienne, 51, dating someone 19 years younger than her, she admitted that the idea haunts her.

“I try not to get that visual in my head,” she said.

Adrienne started dating Sean Stewart just two months after her divorce. He is the son of iconic musician Rod Stewart and has been on a few reality shows himself, including Sons of Hollywood and Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. The mismatched couple has been known to show major PDA in public, which has to really gross Brandi out.

Adrienne’s ex Paul, had an enormous conflict with Miss Glanville, and apparently the next guy isn’t having any better luck!

But Would Brandi Date A Younger Guy?

What makes Brandi’s comments really twist like a knife is that she also told HollywoodLife that she’s into dating younger guys!

“I definitely have dated [younger men],” she said. She also admitted that the younger ones are the ones she likes to chase. Talk about a double standard.

On the other hand though, Brandi is only 40 years old. So her hooking up with a 32-year-old guy isn’t quite the same as Adrienne doing it.

But we’ll have to wait and see whether or not Adrienne fights off the visual of Brandi with younger men.

The Independent Spirit Awards are for the little guys — the independent films. They honor all those indie movies that can be just as amazing as the best blockbusters around. Rihanna is back in the states after a fun-filled birthday celebration in Hawaii! Will she tag along with Chris to watch his new protege perform on Feb. 23 and 24?

Rihanna is “Heauxm sweet Heauxm.” The “Diamonds” singer spent the last few days in Hawaii, where she canoodled with Chris Brown on the beach and turned 25 with her friends and family by her side. Now that she’s home, we’ll probably be seeing the lovers attached at the hip, attending various events together — starting this weekend!

Chris, 23, tweeted on Feb. 23, “Los Angeles: come check out @IamSabrinaLive this weekend! Tonight at @HOBSunset & tomorrow at @theVIPERroom.” The “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer has been promoting his new protege, Sabrina Antoinette, for some time now. If he’s going to the scheduled performances this weekend, we can only image that Rihanna will be right by his side!

Rihanna Was Crying On Her Birthday

We learned that RiRi, 25, cried tears of happiness and real love was shared as she had "the time of her life." A source close to Rihanna told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, "Rihanna just chilled the whole day with Chris and didn't want to be bothered — she was having the time of her life, turning 25 and was turned up the whole damn day. She didn't have a care in the world. Everybody that is important to her, all the people in her life that mean something to her, came out and showed her love. That's real love and she was just in awe of it all. I don't know if she was overwhelmed or just f***ed up, but she cried throughout the day. She was just real happy and thankful. Yeah, thankful, she's so grateful for everything that's happened in her young life."

Brad and Jen (not that Brad and Jen), a ‘Teen Wolf’ and Elena Gilbert walked the red carpet at the annual Independent Spirit Awards on Feb. 23 — and they all looked gorgeous! See the pics.

Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Nina Dobrev and many more stars migrated to Santa Monica Beach on February 23 for the Independent Spirit Awards, where independent films were celebrated, one day before the Oscars!

Tyler Hoechlin, the hottie from Teen Wolf, looked dapper in a navy/black suit. Another hunk on the carpet, Bradley Cooper, went for a more casual look in a light grey suit, an unbuttoned dress-shirt and suede shoes. He finished his look with a sexy pair of sunglasses.

The ladies did not disappoint either. Jennifer showed off a lot of skin in her black, knee-length gown. If this were the Grammys, she might be banned for showing off a hint of sideboob! We always love what Jennifer wears on the carpet, though. She looked fantastic!

Furthermore, Nina looked oh so sexy in a long white shirt and boy shorts. Her white shirt was covered in gold textured pieces, and was accessorized by a sleek gold belt.

It’s obvious that stars chose a more laid-back, casual look for the Spirit Awards, as most will be dressed to the nines on Feb. 24 for the Oscars.

ABC Series Score All-New Oscar Night Promos — Get a First Look

ABC on Sunday night will make the most of its broadcast of the Academy Awards by unveiling all-new promos for many of its shows — and TVLine has a sneak peek at one of ‘em.

Current programming including Once Upon a Time and Scandal will score fresh promos, as will new fare — including the one below, a moody, artsy teaser for the about-to-debut Red Widow.

Launching with a two-hour premiere on Sunday, March 3 at 9/8c (before settling into its Sundays-at-10 home), Red Widow stars Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill) as Marta Walraven, a soccer mom housewife who is dragged into her husband’s criminal world after he gets whacked. Because though Marta's husband paid dearly with his life, that fails to offset his debt with crime lord Nicholae Schiller, played by ER alum Goran Visnjic.

Taylor Lautner & Patrick Schwarzenegger Buddy Up For An Oscars Pre-Party

Taylor Lautner and Patrick Schwarzenegger hit up Ari Emmanuel’s shindig, pulling up together in a slick, silver sports car. Taylor and Patrick were looking slick themselves, Taylor is a simple white v-neck and Patrick in a hunky leather bomber jacket. We don’t know what these two chatted about at the party, but we have a guess – Taylor Swift!

Both Taylor and Patrick have been linked to the country singer in the past, so maybe they traded notes on how to get into a T-Swift song (hint: break up with her).

Sophia Bush Goes Green For The Oscars

Sophia Bush and her fabulous haircut walked the red — or shall we say green — carpet at the 10th annual Global Green USA Pre-Oscars bash.

The One Tree Hill star looked amazing in all white with gorgeous soft pink heels as an accent.

Bravo Stars Attend Oscars Pre-Party

Friday night, Feb. 22, was really an all-Bravo affair at OK! Magazine’s pre-party. Mercedes Javid and Golnesa Gharachedaghi, otherwise known as MJ and Gigi from The Shahs of Sunset, attended the soiree, which was being held at the Emerson Theater.

And if things couldn’t get “real” enough, Taylor Armstrong of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills also showed up toting her man! ’RHOBH’ fans will recognize the guy, John Bluher, as Taylor’s lawyer. In a form-fitting, black and white dress, Taylor looked tremendous and happy as she showed off her flame.

NBC Pilot Scoop: MADtv Alum Joins About a Boy

Actress, comedienne, and MADtv grad Anjelah N. Johnson has landed a co-starring role in About a Boy, NBC's Jason Katims-produced single-camera comedy pilot, TVLine has learned.

The project, based on the book and subsequent 2002 film starring Hugh Grant and Nicholas Hoult, centers on the relationship between a man-child (Bent‘s David Walton) and the young boy who moves in next door.

The cast also includes Minnie Driver as the young boy's eccentric, recently divorced mother, Fiona.

Ratings: Undercover Boss Boosts CBS, Nikita Drops, CSI: NY Finale Up Versus Last Year

CBS’ Undercover Boss — with 7.3 million total viewers and a 1.5 demo ratings — returned down more than 20 percent from its last fresh outing, but nonetheless improved upon short-lived time slot squatter The Job by 200-plus percent.

Leading out of that, CSI: NY‘s Season 9 (series?) finale did 9.4 mil and a 1.2, flat week-to-week but up 4 percent and a tenth from its previous season (series?) finale. Blue Bloods closed CBS’ night with 11.06 mil/1.4, drawing Friday’s largest audience.

Over on ABC, Last Man Standing (6 mil/1.3) and Malibu Country (5.50 mil/1.1) both ticked down a tenth, while Shark Tank held steady at 6.44 mil/1.8 and commanded the night’s best rating.

Fox’s Kitchen Nightmares (3.1 mil/1.1) and Touch (2.52 mil/0.7) were both flat.

The CW’s Nikita dropped a few viewers and fell two tenths in the demo to 1.26 mil/0.3.

Taylor Armstrong: LeAnn Rimes On 'RHOBH' Would Be 'Insanity'

Bravo wants season four of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ to be the best yet! That’s why the network reportedly reached out to LeAnn Rimes to join the cast, so she can go head-to-head with Brandi Glanville.

It’s about to get crazy in Beverly Hills! If Bravo has their way, LeAnn Rimes will join the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season four, but resident cast member Taylor Armstrong is worried for all the “insanity” that would come with such a casting change, particularly for Brandi Glanville.

Having LeAnn on the show “would be insanity! It would go from being the RHOBH to The Real Housewives of the UFC. I can't even imagine,” Taylor said, when asked about what it’d be like to have the country singer on the cast for next season.

In an attempt to heat things up on the hit show, RHOBH producers are reportedly doing all they can to lure LeAnn into joining the cast. A source tells RadarOnline, "Producers have approached LeAnn multiple times about joining the cast and have been pursuing her even harder in recent weeks. Viewers are fascinated by Brandi, how she's dealt with her marriage being broken up by LeAnn, and the pain that continues to cause her and her family."

LeAnn is currently married to Brandi’s ex-husband Eddie Cibrian.

Taylor Armstrong’s Own Future On The Show Revealed

Asked whether she knew about her own future on the show, she responded, “We haven't even filmed the reunion yet. [Contract negotiations] usually happen sometime after that, probably in April.”

And if Taylor does get the ax from the show, she’ll surely be disappointed. “[I'm] not at all [ready to move on]. There are rumors every season that someone is leaving. None of it's true. We haven't even been picked up for another season and no casting decisions have been made. I would be open to doing a fourth season.”

Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Are Having A Girl — Report

Time to start buying all-pink Versace, Kanye! Breaking news reports that Kimye’s first child together is going to be a girl. Let the name-guessing game begin!

Less than two months since they announced their baby news, we now know what Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are having — a little baby girl!

Us Weekly reports that the little Kimye is going to be a girl, and that the couple is thrilled about the news.

“They’re over the moon,” a source close to the couple said. “Kanye always wanted a girl.”

No matter what the little girl is named, she is DEFINITELY going to be the best-dressed baby ever — Kanye and Kim will make sure of it. “I think [Kanye] is going to have things specially made,” Kim told Jimmy Kimmel in January.

Kim & Kanye Both Wanted A Girl

On Jan. 4, a source told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that chances were good the baby was going to be a girl, saying, “Kim has always dreamed of having a little girl and now she has her wish!” The source continued, “Everyone is so excited. No it’s pink, pink, pink!”

Another source also told us that Kanye wasn’t really coming down on either side of the matter: “Kanye wants a boy but would be happy with a girl too. He doesn’t really care.” So everyone’s getting exactly what they wanted!

What Will Kim & Kanye Name Her?

As for names now that we know it’s a girl, we have two educated guesses. First of all, don’t count out any name that begins with the letter K. And secondly — and more importantly — remember how close Kanye was with his mother, Donda, before she tragically died in 2007.

"If Kanye has a daughter, he wants to name her Donda, after his mother. He's been saying that for years, and he will really try to get Kim to do that," a source told HollywoodLife. "He loves her and misses her tremendously — he even named his art collective after her. Kim would probably be for it, as she loves him and would be supportive of his wishes."

Whatever they choose, this baby girl is going to be gorgeous and the apple of her mommy and daddy’s eyes. There’s still some time to wait though — Kim’s due in July. We can barely contain our excitement!

Harry and Taylor Swift are never ever getting back together, and he looks just fine with that! The One Direction heartthrob is making moves for ANOTHER date with the sexy British model, Millie Brady, and the duo’s reportedly making plans to hang out soon.

Harry Styles is having no trouble moving on from his breakup with Taylor Swift. He’s proving that the best form of revenge isn’t a song or a mock accent — it’s dating new hot people!

Harry and the British model, Millie Brady were seen together at an after-party following the 2013 BRIT Awards, and Harry has reportedly been very “keen” to spend more time with her ever since.

Harry Styles & Millie Brady — Hooking Up?

After partying and flirting it up Harry, didn’t want the night to end, so he brought Millie along with him to BBC Radio 1, where he co-hosts the “Breakfast Show.” Harry reportedly acted like a true gentleman on their “date” and gave Millie the grand tour of the radio station’s studio before she had to leave for work.

The night must have been a success — because the two Brits are reportedly already planning to see each other again.

“She is being very coy about it all but she has told friends she wants to see him again,” a source told The Sun.

The 1D star and his new hot flame are taking things slow, having fun and seeing if it turns into something more. The source also said that they’re planning on getting together to go clubbing within the next few days.

Harry & Taylor Swift Are Moving On

Is this finally the end of the road for Haylor? Harry wasn’t the only one using the BRITs as a launching pad for new romance — Taylor of course was spotted out at an English pub with singer Tom Odell after the award show. And those two have a flirtatious history.

Come to think of it, it’s been awhile since Taylor’s last Harry diss — maybe they’ve BOTH fully moved on? Harry certainly has!
