See all the stars that wowed us on the red carpet and VOTE for who YOU think was best dressed!
Summer means movies, movies, movies…and new movies of course mean star-studded premieres! Lots of the best looks on the red carpet were at premieres, but there were also some parties and award ceremonies that boasted stylish get-ups. No matter where the stars are though, they are always in competition for most fabulous and best dressed. You know the drill, sound off in the comments and vote for your favorite in the poll. This week’s best dressed competition is on!
Debby Ryan’s Dress:
Debby Ryan, 20, may still be linked with Disney but she’s no little girl. In a baby blue and black Giulietta Spring 2013 dress she looked very sophisticated and fashionable at the Los Angeles Film Festival premiere of The Way, Way Back on June 23. The dress featured a bustier top, black straps and a lattice cutout band near the hem. Debby wore matching baby blue Giulietta wedges, threw in a red Rauwolf clutch, and reminded us of a young Amy Adams with her pretty red hair. Love this look on her!
Julianne Hough’s Peplum Printed Get-Up:
Julianne Hough, 24, had us looking all over the place in her Monique Lhuillier Spring 2013 outfit. At the LA premiere for The Lone Ranger held at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, CA on June 22, Julianne was perfectly printed. Her peplum top and matching pants looked very much like a one-piece suit, since their black and white patterns were the same. We didn’t know if we should notice the print, the peplum or her curves first! With tousled hair, white sandals and a sexy pose, Julianne looked amazing, as usual.
Sarah Jessica Parker’s Dress:
Sarah Jessica Parker, 48, channeled her inner flapper at The Serpentine Gallery Summer Party co-hosted by L'Wren Scott in London on June 26. Her silver and gold beaded, fringed frock was so Great Gatsby-esque she really looked like she came from the 1920s, or at least the Gatsby movie set! With a sheer halter top and racerback the Naeem Khan dress appeared to be strapless but was actually secretly hiding that fun little detail. With matching ’20s themed jewelry but simple straight hair and black pointed toe heels, Sarah mastered the modern flapper girl look and showed us how to properly wear a movie inspired dress. How fun is this look on her?
Miranda Cosgrove’s Cutout Dress:
Miranda Cosgrove, 20, has been killing it at the premieres of her new movie Despicable Me 2. At the LA premiere of the movie held at Universal CityWalk in Universal City, CA, Miranda rocked a blue and black Three Floor dress. The dress was girly but sexy at the same time with a big bow as the top and a cutout on her midriff –she looked fitting for the animated movie’s debut. The dress was a textured royal blue with a black leather waistband and a peplum waist. It has a gold medal embellishment in the middle of the bow which broke up the standard blue and black pallete and Miranda paired it with Saint Laurent patent leather pumps and a floral Jimmy Choo 'Candy' clutch. She pops against the yellow carpet and minion backdrop!
