Hollywood Life: ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’: Mama June Reveals How She Met Sugar Bear

thumbnail 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo': Mama June Reveals How She Met Sugar Bear
Jan 28th 2013, 04:02

On the Jan. 27 episode of ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,’ the family looked back on some of the best moments of the show so far — reminding us why we fell in love with the crazy clan in the first place! Which moment is YOUR favorite?

AlanaHoney Boo BooThompson and her wild family relived the show’s major moments from the first season – from their language lessons to their secret family recipes! Check out our favorite highlights.

1. Learning Honey Boo Boo & Family’s Wild Vocabulary

The family gave us a linguistics lesson on their colorful language by reminding us that “vajiggle jaggle” means the excess skin and flab on people of a voluptuous size, and that Mama June Shannon only gets “beautimus” (dolled up to look pretty) when she feels like it — especially when she wants to look “smexy” for her man Sugar Bear!

2. Mama June Teaches Us To Cook Sketti

Alana teamed up with her mom to cook dinner for the family, this time an old family recipe for sketti — pasta with ketchup and melted butter. They call it a redneck version of spaghetti, but Sugar Bear calls it delicious!

3. Here Comes The Weight Loss Challenge

Mama June and all the girls decide they need to drop a few pounds to get healthy, especially since the family matriarch’s weight has gotten so big, it won’t even register on her bathroom scale. After the first week, Jessica “Chubbs” lost two pounds, but Lauryn “Pumpkin” gained four. Looks like they need to lay off the sketti!

4. The Art Of Passing Gass

Alana and family remind us that bodily functions in their household are louder, smellier and a lot more frequent. Mama June said it’s probably due to what they eat (read: a lot of empty calories), but that it’s “only rude when you get caught” passing gas in public. Try telling that to the poor production crew that is with them day and night!

5. Alana & Her BFF Glitzy The Pig

We got a loving look back on Glitzy, the pet pig the family only kept for a few weeks. Alana describes she fell in love with the little guy in the first place — he loves to dress up, and is a perfect pageant partner! “He’s going to be a little gay,” Alana reveals. It’s a shame he had to go so fast!

6. Alana’s Talking Tummy

When Alana competes in pageants, she’s not the only one who does all the talking — her belly chats up the judges too. Alana and her tummy talked to the cameras, like she does when she’s on stage. But when Mama June and her vajiggle jaggle try to speak up, everyone gets too grossed out to listen!

7. Anatomy Of Mama June

Mama June gave us the rundown of everything that makes her body a wonderland — her “forklift foot,” aka her feet that are black and blue from being run over by a forklift when she was younger, her neck crust (the residue found in the folds of her triple chin) and her biscuit. Biscuit means lady parts to Mama June, so I’m just going to go ahead and move on.

8. Bringing Home Baby Kaitlyn

When Alana’s sister AnnaChickadee” gave birth to her baby Kaitlyn, the family was so excited to meet her — and she greeted them with three thumbs up! That’s right, baby Kaitlyn was born with an extra appendage, which Mama June just called a special addition. Kaitlyn even joined in Aunt Alana’s footsteps by competing in a pageant at just a few months old!

9. Mama June Reveals Her Couponing Obsession

Mama June reminds everyone why she loves coupining in the first place — “it’s better than sex” — and even admits a dark secret from her past. One time she bought laundry detergent without a coupon, and it nearly killed her! Good thing she can shop for a big family on a budget, and have a never-ending supply of tolet paper.

10. Mama June & Sugar Bear: A Love Story

Mama June and her “shack ‘em up mate” Sugar Bear have been together for more than eight years, and love to make their relationship “smexy” from time to time. Even though Sugar Bear says their relationship was love at first site, Mama June revealed the truth behind their romance — they met through an online chat room, and it was supposed to be a random hookup. “Bed at first sight,” not love. Eight years later, they are still going strong!

Check out the truth behind their relationship below!

What did you think of the show’s highlights HollywoodLifers? Which was your favorite?

Hollywood Life: Naya Rivera Flaunts Her Cleavage In Sexy Dress For SAG Awards

thumbnail Naya Rivera Flaunts Her Cleavage In Sexy Dress For SAG Awards
Jan 28th 2013, 04:00

The ‘Glee’ gal certainly isn’t shy, flaunting her assets on the red carpet thanks to a sexy sheer panel in her gown. What did you think of her daring dress?

Naya Rivera has an affinity for putting her cleavage on full display on the red carpet, and the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Jan. 27 in LA was no exception, where the 26-year-old star once again flaunted her figure in a glam gown. The actress opted for a black Donna Karan Atelier strapless mermaid gown that fit her like a glove — but it was the sheer panel that added a sexy edge to her ensemble.

A pair of Stuart Weitzman pumps, Neil Lane jewelry and a Judith Leiber clutch finished off her red carpet look. The star wore her hair back behind her ears in retro waves to keep the focus on the seriously sexy dress — and the revealing neckline! Soft makeup complimented the red carpet look. I thought the soft, romantic makeup was a smart choice — with a dress this sexy she didn’t want to overdo it!

While Naya’s dress was very revealing, the star totally rocked the look thanks to her killer confidence — she knows how to work the red carpet, and she wasn’t alone. Also in attendance were her stylish co-stars, Lea Michele and Jayma Mays. While Lea often opts for overly sexy frocks, this time it was Naya who really went over-the-top with her sexy dress.

Looking sexy in sheer seemed to be a major trend at the SAG Awards, with Downton Abbey‘s Michelle Dockery revealing her sideboob in a vintage Chad Ralph Rucci gown.

What do you think of Nina’s dress? Did the sheer panel add the perfect edgy vibe to her glam gown or do you think she should have opted to cover up on the red carpet? Who do you think was best dressed at the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards?

Jessica Chastain, 35, looked classic and elegant in her red Alexander McQueen dress and auburn hair. Makeup artist Kristofer Buckle for Lancôme complemented the look with understated beauty touches, including bright lips and defined features.

Jessica’ gorgeous auburn locks looked classic, Hollywood glam with a natural feel. Hairstylist Renato Campora for Vidal Sassoon Pro Series created Jessica’s effortless glam style.

Here's how Renato created Jessica's look:
1. First start by prepping wet hair with Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Boost & Lift Foaming Air Mousse for lightweight volume.

3. Blow dry hair with a round brush until it's dry. Then, part the hair on the side to give hair extra volume.
4. Using a 1 ½ inch curling iron, curl the ends for 10 seconds and remove for a soft wave. Once the hair cools, brush the curls out with a thin comb to soften the look.
5. To finish, spray a brush with Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Extra Firm Hold Hairspray and smooth back the hairs around the face. Finally, mist with hairspray to hold hair in place while leaving it with lots of natural movement.

Hollywood Life: ‘Downton Abbey’ Recap: Everyone Suffers Sybil’s Labor Pains

Latest Hollywood Gossip, News & Celeb Pics
thumbnail 'Downton Abbey' Recap: Everyone Suffers Sybil's Labor Pains
Jan 28th 2013, 03:00

The Crawley family was changed forever, as the show’s most dramatic season yet took another dark turn.

On the Jan. 27 episode of Downton Abbey, Anna (Joanne Froggatt) discovered a way to prove Bates’ innocence, Edith (Laura Carmichael) finally found a small amount of self-worth, and Sybil (Jessica Brown Findlay) gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby girl. But wait, this is Downton Abbey, right? Cue the unexpected, horrific tragedy…

Sybil began to show signs of eclampsia after the baby was born, and following a series of full-on seizures, she died. Dr. Clarkson tried to warn everybody, but no one ever listens to him. He’s like the Edith of the medical world.

Seeing the Crawleys and the rest of the abbey react to Sybil’s death was heartbreaking — don’t even get me started on how my sweet prince Tom (Allen Leech) wept by her bedside — but my favorite death-related interaction came courtesy of Mary (Michelle Dockery) and Edith.

Mary: She was the only person living who always thought you and I were such nice people.
Edith: Oh, Mary, do you think we might get along a little better in the future?
Mary: I doubt it, but since this is the last time we three shall all be together in this life, let’s love each other now, as sisters should.

(Translation: We may be the only two Crawley girls left, but you’re still f*****g awful, and we will never be friends. Carry on.)

The effects of Sybil’s death will be felt for many weeks to come, not only because Tom is now left to raise their daughter alone, but also because Cora (Elizabeth McGovern) clearly blames Robert (Hugh Bonneville) for letting her die. He’s in the dog house for sure — even if, given that this is Downton Abbey, the dog house is probably a two-story building with a full staff of servants.

Matthew Talks About His Penis

With everyone in the house excited about the new baby, Matthew (Dan Stevens) is starting to worry about beginning his own family with Mary, so he had a super-awkward chat with Sir Phillip about whether or not his peeper might be on the fritz. Mind you, this was long before Sir Phillip let Matthew’s sister-in-law die, so I really hope he doesn’t put too much stock in anything the “good” doctor has to say.

Downstairs Drama (aka Everybody Hates Daisy)

The relationships downstairs at the abbey became more complicated than ever this week. Here’s a rundown, in case you need a refresher: No one likes Daisy who likes Alfred who likes Ivy who likes Jimmy. (But seriously, no one likes Daisy. That point cannot be stressed enough. She’s the worst.)

Thomas also has his eye, and hands, on Jimmy; and O’Brien, whose God-awful hair is looking more God-awful than ever, is loving every minute of the uncomfortable drama. In fact, she’s egging on both sides, hoping Jimmy will get Thomas fired for “unseemly” behavior. Just when you think she can’t be a bigger bitch…

Ethel Parks: From Hooking To Cooking

Because this was such a heavy episode, let’s end on a lighter note by discussing what went down at Isabelle’s house. Because she’s a firm believer in “once a ho, always a ho,” Mrs. Bird refused to work alongside Ethel, so she quit. I’m OK with that for two reasons: First, Mrs. Bird has always sucked, and second, her quitting allowed Isabelle to make an incredible back-handed joke. When Mrs. Bird suggested people might think she‘d become a prostitute, Isabelle replied, “No one could look at you and think that, Mrs. Bird.” Burn!

Speaking of burning, Ethel pretty much screwed up everything she did this week, first by burning the kidney souffle, then by putting honey in the tea. She should go back to hooking, I think. At least she was good at that.

What did you think of this week’s episode? Were you devastated by Sybil’s death? Do you hate Daisy as much as I do? Drop all of your thoughts in the comments section below!

Jan 28th 2013, 02:58

This week on Downton Abbey, Sybil gives birth to Robert and Cora's first grandchild. So why does everyone end the episode looking even glummer than Carson on a good day? Read on to find out!

RELATED | Downton Abbey Season 4 Casting Scoop: [Spoiler]‘s Getting a New Suitor!

DOCTOR, DOCTOR | As Sybil's due date nears, Robert brushes aside Dr. Clarkson and brings in fancypants Sir Phillip to deliver the baby. Big mistake, it turns out. Bloody huge! Though the family's longtime physician diagnoses the mum-to-be as suffering from eclampsia and wants to rush her to the hospital, Sir Phillip insists that she's right as rain — and, much to Cora's chagrin, Robert backs him! Needless to say, as soon as Sybil and Tom's daughter is born without complication, Robert and Sir Phillip get busy patting one another on the back… or at least they do until Sybil starts having seizures and drops dead! After that, everyone cries — even Thomas, for pity's sake! — and Cora makes it plain that she blames one person and one person only for the tragedy: her know-it-all husband!

WE ARE DETECTIVE | Prior to the waterworks and all-black period fashion show, Anna tells Bates about her visit to Vera's neighbor, and he tells her that she's found the Holy Grail — the testimony that could set him free! Now they just have to get that mean ol' neighbor lady to repeat what she said to Bates' attorney before she figures out how her recollection will help him. "On it," says Anna (basically). She rushes home and informs Robert, who, in turn, calls his barrister to Downton Abbey. Unfortunately, at the same time, Bates' prison nemeses begin plotting to make sure that he never receives a Get Out of Jail Free card!

KING FOR A DAY | When not worrying about his ability to produce an heir, Matthew busies himself by stewing over how badly mismanaged the estate is. He makes a (pun intended) grave mistake, however, by taking advantage of the aforementioned lawyer's visit and discussing his plans to set things right — before Sybil's body has even been taken away! (Timing, old chap! Timing!) Happening upon the scene, Mary reacts so poorly that it's a wonder her husband doesn't inquire whether it's not too late to pawn her off on Sir Richard.

HOLD ME NOW | Flirting with disaster as much as Jimmy, Thomas falls into Mrs. O'Brien's trap by getting a bit "familiar" with the new footman. Ivy fancies the fresh meat, too, but "James" is as oblivious to her charms as Alfred is entranced by them. And, of course, the concept of subtlety being utterly lost on Daisy, she continues to make her jealousy of Ivy so obvious that, at one point, Mrs. O'Brien all but cracks, "Oh, snap!"

YOU TAKE ME UP | Isobel is reminded that no good deed goes unpunished when she hires Ethel to work in her household — prompting Mrs. Bird to quit! — then tastes her young replacement's cooking. And, of course, Robert is physically incapable of being proud of Edith when she's offered a weekly newspaper column. "I'm always a failure in this family," she sighs. And frankly, she's not exaggerating.

Okay, your turn. What did you think of the episode? Were you surprised that Sybil was killed off? Will Cora leave Robert over his (very, very) bad decision? Is there any room in Matthew and Mary's marriage for him to ever be right? And how whimsical is it that I made all the mini-headlines in this recap titles of Thompson Twins songs? Sound off below!

Jan 28th 2013, 02:34

The ‘Les Mis’ star smoldered in sexy, retro waves for the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards held at The Shrine Auditorium on January 27, 2013 in Los Angeles, California. Do YOU love the look? Sound off!

Amanda Seyfried, 27, showed off her luxurious blonde hair in gorgeous 1940s-style waves. Jenny Cho, Suave Professionals Celebrity Stylist created the gorgeous style. "My inspiration for the hair was the bottom of her beautiful dress – the layers of ruffles on her fishtail dress cascading down to the floor was so elegant," she says. Amanda’s hair in incredibly simple to recreate with Jenny’s tips.

Follow Jenny’s simple steps to recreate this look at home:

1. For ultimate shine, wash and condition hair with Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Shine Shampoo and Conditioner. 2. Blow dry hair with a round brush, ensuring a smooth finish with body. Make a deep side part and divide hair into four or five big sections. Starting at the midpoint of hair, wind each section around the barrel of a large curling iron and hold for a few seconds. 3. After hair is curled, mist a paddle brush with Suave Professionals Touchable Finish Lightweight Hold Hairspray and brush over the waves to break them up and give a softer look. 4. Bring hair to one side, and tuck behind ear. Secure the back with a duckbill clip. Right when you’re ready to leave, remove the clip. Add a little Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Styling Oil to palms, rub together and apply from mid-shaft to ends for head-turning shine. HollywoodLifers, do YOU love Amanda’s retro waves? Sound off below!

thumbnail Girls Recap: 'Look at the Doll. Describe Her. How Is She Feeling?' 'She Feels Sassy.' 'No, She's Sad.'
Jan 28th 2013, 02:30

We’re barely into Season 2, but I think it’s safe to say HBO’s Girls does sex and drugs and friendship about as brilliantly/awkwardly (brawkwardly? nah…) as any show in the history of television.

This week’s episode, “Bad Friend,” featured a doll standing watch over a comically traumatic sex-scene-as-art-piece; cocaine being clichédly/grossly snorted off a nightclub toilet seat; and several chemically induced, dubiously advised confessions that may alter the fabic of connections in the lives of Hannah, Marnie and their circle of pals. (Or who knows? Once everyone comes down from their highs, perhaps not.)

Let’s review the goings-on for two of the four Girls in question (since Shoshanna and Jessa were relegated to a single throwaway stoop-sale scene). (Also: Who needs more Shosh? And does our movement need a motto? Shosh.0? We can do better than that, right?)

HANNAH | This week’s opening scene perfectly encapsulated the horrors of being a young freelance writer, or more specifically, being a young freelance writer who’d actually like to make a living off her work, in New York City in 2013. I loved Hannah’s barely concealed surprise/disappointment when she realized her job interview was taking place in the lobby of the hideously named jazzhate.com. Somehow, that indignity was worse than her editor noting that at $200 per byline, she might want to consider writing something on a threesome with people she met on craigslist or perhaps a cocaine bender. (Another highlight? Said editor cheerily exclaiming, “Even better!” when Hannah noted she was a cocaine virgin.) Ahh yes, let’s consider the words inside the empty frame on the jazzhate wall, “This is your comfort zone,” and the words outside and to the upper left of the frame, “Where the magic happens.” Still, Hannah had to be sure: “So the magic happens outside your comfort zone?”

After learning from Shosh and Marnie that she could find her local junkie hanging outside the mailboxes, Hannah approached neighbor Laird for some coke. He clearly had been paying attention to the woman upstairs, or at least her wireless network names (“Madame Ovaries,” changed in the post-Marnie era to “Muffins Are Tasty”), but it turns out he’d kicked his drug habit. “Congratulations! I’m so sorry, you just didn’t look clean, so I…” Hannah responded. Clearly smitten, Laird helped Hannah score some drugs anyway, and she and Elijah started their afternoon/night of chemically altered honesty by making mental lists of their dreams — Elijah (raising show dogs) and Hannah (getting married wearing a veil and tasting 15 cakes before she does it). Stripped of inhibition, it turns out these hipster kids are as mundane as everybody else. And naturally, Hannah despite being ”so jazzed to write the f*** out of this story,” almost forgot to take notes. (And then almost wondered if she should do it “in urine.” Amazing writing from Lena Dunham and Sarah Heyward, even if Hannah Horvath’s talents aren’t quite so certain.)

(Side note: Did anyone else flinch at Elijah’s throaway joke about wanting Hannah to dress like a girl he knew in middle school “who f***** her uncle and her stepdad”? It was one of those shocks for the sake of shock, and not at all amusing, especially since Hannah let her roommate get away with it unscathed. It caught me off guard in the worst way, and made me think of that old adage from Crimes and Misdemeanors: “If it bends, it’s funny. If it breaks, it’s not funny.”)

Anyhow, out dancing to the tunes of Andrew-Andrew, brand consulatants and iPad DJs (j’adore that description, bee tee dubs), Hannah and Elijah snorted a few more bumps, worked up a crazy sweat, and (in Hannah’s case) traded shirts with a stranger. (Helpful hint: Anytime you end up with the yellow mesh tank, you’ve lost.) In their drug-fueled haze, Elijah suddenly wanted to get honest with his ex-girlfriend/current roommate, and so he admitted to having had sex with Marnie. “Did you f*** her in a sexual way?” Hannah hilariously demanded, eventually planting a kiss on the guy. “I lost my boner almost immediately,” Eli pleaded. But eventually, we got to the heart of what was eating our protagonist: “I was meant to be your last!” Eli’s angry response — that Hannah’s self-absorption runs so deep, it extends to controlling his journey of sexual self-discovery to suit her own ego — was very astute, but it soon devolved into the duo (along with Laird, who just so happened to be trailing them all night) going to confront a post-coital Marnie at the home of artist Booth Jonathan (with whom Marnie dallied creepily in Season 1). An incensed and high-as-a-kite Hannah wanted Marnie to “recognize that maybe I’m not the bad friend and you’re not the good friend,” then added this stream-of-cocanious rant: ”You lied to me with your eyes and you said to me by not saying anything that you’d done nothing, so guess who’s the bad friend? It’s you!” It’s funny that Hannah can rant about the definition of being a good friend as “not doing something that you know will intentionally really hurt the other person,” at the exact same time she busts in unannounced on Marnie’s painful date, knowing it’s got to be mortifying for her. Adding insult to injury, she added, ”We could keep being friends just as long as you know you’re a bad one!” Marnie somehow responded apologetically, but I wonder if she just wanted her (former) BFF to get the hell out, sparing further embarrassment in front of the “important artist” she’d just slept with. Or maybe she just needed to work through the guilt of concealing intel from Hannah before she’s ready to stand up for herself. Either way, I’m hoping the confrontation isn’t over, and that Marnie works in a few biting counterpunches of her own the next time she and Hannah talk. Back at home, Hannah inevitably had sex with Laird, so long as he knows it’s one-time-only. We’ll see about that. He does live just one flight down, after all.

MARNIE | But back to Marnie and Booth Jonathan. Lo and behold, he just happened to be hanging out at her place of employment, the Wedgebrook Club, where older guys with money touch the waitress’s hip to get her attention, then put on a show of jocularity and “charm” in front of their friends. I loved how Booth greeted Marnie with a, “You work here. That’s f****** depressing,” without in any way damning himself for being a patron. Isn’t that f****** depressing, too, dude? Plus, the girl is working a job to pay her bills. Is it really such a travesty? I say no, unless she merely offers a few cutting bon mots (Booth has merely duped folks who’ve never heard of Damien Hirst into thinking he’s a genius, Marnie noted) then goes back to his place to be locked into a TV-lined crawlspace in the name of art, followed by a session of really icky sex.

The most upsetting images of the week, for me, were those shots of Booth making espresso, checking his AOL email and pounding nails into teddy bears as Marnie called out and hoped to be released from the “art box” lined with images of dying dogs, crying babies and mutilated animals. It was all a little too The Silence of the Lambs for my liking. A request: Could this seemingly smart, witty chick please woman-up and start living her life with dignity? Pronto? When Booth finally unlocked Marnie, her inital reaction — “What the f***, man? What the f***?” — was right on target, but after he hugged her, she melted into his plaything again. “You’re so f****** talented.” UGH! Their subsequent sex scene — in which Marnie looked about as comfy as if she’d been put on the wrack — featured this exchange (complete with copious grunting and pumping from Booth):

Booth: Give me everything. Let me control you. [Too much grunting to try to capture in this recap.] Look at the doll. Look at her. Describe her. How is she feeling?
Marnie: She feels sassy.
Booth: No, she’s sad.
Marnie: She’s sad
[More grunting.]
Booth: Are you on the pill?
Marnie: Yeah?
[Aaaand scene. For Booth, anyway. Eep.]

Anyhow, with that heinousness, I turn things over to you. What did you think of this week’s Girls? Who’s really the bad friend? Is it time for Marnie to take a pledge of celibacy immédiatement? And was it just me or were Andrew-Andrew’s choices of “I Love It” by Icona Pop and “Tambourine” by Eve pretty awesome? Sound off in the comments!

Hollywood Life: Nina Dobrev’s SAG Awards Dress — Stuns In Hot Pink Gown

Hollywood Life
Latest Hollywood Gossip, News & Celeb Pics
thumbnail Nina Dobrev's SAG Awards Dress — Stuns In Hot Pink Gown
Jan 28th 2013, 02:18

The star looked absolutely stunning in her vibrant Elie Saab gown — and you can get a 360 degree view of her fantastic frock right here!

Nina Dobrev attended the 19th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in LA on Jan. 27 where the 24-year-old star stunned in a hot pink, short-sleeved crepe gown from Elie Saab‘s Spring 2013 collection. The dress had a feminine lace cutout detailing that added a nice touch to the ensemble. There’s no denying the fact that The Vampire Diaries star was one of the best dressed celebs of the night and her vibrant choice totally stole the spotlight!

Nina is always one we love to watch on the red carpet, and we’re obsessed with her sexy yet chic sense of style — even down to the accessories she dressed to impress! The star wore her hair back to keep the focus on the frock, while statement earrings added a nice touch of bling to her ensemble. An embellished clutch matched her bright dress and kept the look youthful and fun. I love the color against her skin tone and thought it was so refreshing to see the bright pink hue on the red carpet — especially since we saw lots of black gowns!

From the way the silhouette of the dress allowed Nina to flaunt her svelte frame to the bright shade, the gorgeous spring gown was the perfect choice for the young star. Her red carpet style is really revolving, and so far Nina can do no wrong! Do you agree?

What do you think of Nina’s choice on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards? Is her pretty pink dress one of your favorite looks from the night? See who else opted for a glam gown at the SAG Awards and let us know what you thought of Nina’s get-up!

The stunning ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ star looked beautiful with one side of her hair worn back in an elegant twist and bold red lips for the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards held at The Shrine Auditorium on January 27, 2013 in Los Angeles, California. Do YOU Love the look? Sound off below!

Jennifer Lawrence, 22, has been gracing red carpets all over Hollywood ever since awards season kicked off. The gorgeous star is also quite the glamour girl, bringing her best beauty game to each and every event. This latest show is no exception! Jennifer wore her golden tresses long and wavy with one side  secured with a tiny twist. She paired her sexy hair with a standout dark, matte red lip. Totally elegant!

Jennifer Lawrence’s SAG Awards Beauty

If you love Jennifer’s stunning hairstyle as much as we do, the look is easy to recreate. We found out exactly how to get it from her stylist, Dove Celebrity Stylist Mark Townsend. “For the Screen Actors Guild Awards I was inspired by Old Hollywood glamour, so I wanted Jennifer’s hair to show that influence and inspiration, but I wanted it to be young and very modern as well,” says Mark.

Here are Mark’s step-by-step tips:
- To get her side swept waves, I started by applying a nickel size amount of the new Dove Color Care Leave On Conditioner into Jennifer’s damp hair; she’s colored her hair so much lately so her hair needs added moisture and protection.
- Next, I loaded her hair with the Dove Nourishing Curls Whipped Cream Mousse and blow dried with a large round brush. To give her hair a loose wave, I wrapped sections of hair varying from 2 to 5 inches around a 1 1/4 inch curling iron, leaving the ends out.
- Then, I took a small amount of Dove Frizz-Free Shine Cream-Serum in my hands, rubbed my hands together, and then raked my fingers through the waves to break them up and give the hair amazing shine.
- I then took the hair from the right side, twisted it, and then pinned it in the back with a few bobby pins. To give the hair a cool, lived-in texture I sprayed Oribe Dry Texture Spray from mid-length to ends and scrunched with my hands.
- As always, I finished by spraying Dove Strength & Shine Extra Hold Hairspray liberally all over to keep her hair in place all night and give the hair even more shine.”

Hollywood Life: Jennifer Lawrence Comes To SAG Awards With Walking Pneumonia

Nothing’s gonna keep J-Law from taking in awards season! She arrived at the SAG Awards looking stunning even though she’s suffering from pneumonia!

Just looking at Jennifer Lawrence on the red carpet for the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards you wouldn’t be able to tell that she was under the weather — she, once again, looked amazing at an awards show in Dior Haute Couture — but she admitted that she’s powering through a lingering case of walking pneumonia.

Is Jennifer Lawrence The Strongest Actress In Hollywood?

What a survivor! A couple weeks ago at the Golden Globes, we saw Jennifer donning a coat to help her stave off flu-induced chills — and look amazing while doing it.

Nothing’s changed now that her flu has turned into walking pneumonia.

When everyone else gets sick, they throw on sweatpants and close ourselves off from the world. Not Jennifer Lawrence. She puts on a gorgeous Dior dress, tells jokes, and pretty much charms the pants off of everyone!

“It is highly contagious,” Jennifer teased Giuliana Rancic of E! News before downplaying the illness: “I’m fine. Everybody’s like, scared of me. They’re like, ‘Are you still sick?’ But I’m fine.”

Jennifer Missed An Award Show Just Last Night!

According to the Daily Mail, Jennifer wasn’t feeling as “fine” last night, when she was forced to miss out on Australia’s Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards on Saturday, Jan. 26.

Her Silver Linings Playbook co-star, Jacki Weaver, explained the stunning movie star’s absence: “Poor Jen is really sick. She really is sick. She has pneumonia.”

We’re just happy she’s getting better and powering through this awful flu season. Otherwise we wouldn’t get to see how stunning she looks in navy!

The flu and pneumonia might not be the only thing J-Law beats tonight — she’s a frontrunner for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role. If only we were so strong!

The ‘Downton Abbey’ star debuted a shorter, choppier hairdo that looked sleek & sophisticated at the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards held at The Shrine Auditorium on January 27, 2013 in Los Angeles, California. Do YOU think the look is hot or not? Sound off below!

Michelle Dockery, 30, looked elegant and sophisticated with her brand new bob! The style is super retro and gives Michelle such an Old Hollywood-inspired look. The star pulled one side of her hair back to create a masculine/ feminine edge that was super chic.

All About Michelle Dockery

If you didn’t already know, Michelle plays Lady Mary Crawley on the hottest show ever, Downton Abbey.  Her character is totally enviable with her wealthy upbringing, handsome fiance, and major wardrobe. But unlike her character, Michelle has very humble beginnings. She scrimped and saved in order to attend the prestigious Guildhall School of Music & Drama, working as a waitress, in a newspaper recruitment office, and as an assistant for the National Youth Theatre.

Michelle is also an accomplished Jazz musician. She’s performed several times at London’s famed jazz club, Ronnie Scott. She’s also collaborated musically with her costar (and on-screen mother) Elizabeth McGovern. Earlier this year, the pair announced their plans to release an album together.

It was hard for the star to believe she was famous! ”I was in a café in New York waiting for my sister, and a couple next to me were anticipating the last episode,” Michelle told Britain’s T.V. Choice Magazine recently. “I was sitting there contentedly, listening, thinking, ‘This is amazing.’ Then when they got up to leave they recognized me and told me how much they loved the show. I remember texting Dan Stevens [Matthew Crawley]. To be on the other side of the world and have that effect was really something.”

See all the stunning stars who stepped out on the red carpet for the Screen Actors Guild Awards and VOTE for who YOU think donned the best dress of the night.

The 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards in LA on Jan. 27 brought out some of the most stylish stars in Hollywood! Sexy black sheer was a major trend, with both Naya Rivera and Michelle Dockery working the look — but they weren’t the only stars who stole the show! Jessica Chastain was most improved from the Golden Globes, walking the red carpet at the SAG Awards in a red hot Alexander McQueen gown and dripping in exquisite Harry Winston jewels. She looked like a modern day Jessica Rabbit — and we loved it!

Michelle, who plays the conservative Lady Mary on Downton Abbey, rocked her sexiest look to date. While the strategic sheer detailing on her vintage Ralph Rucci gown put her sexy sideboob on full display the star still managed to look so chic — even if her character would gasp at the thought of the scandalous dress! She wasn’t the only one in the cleavage club. Glee gal Naya Rivera definitely isn’t shy! The star, who often flaunts her cleavage on the red carpet, did just that in a sexy black Donna Karan Atelier gown with a strategic sheer panel that stressed right across her chest.

Jennifer Lawrence put her fantastic figure on full display in a gorgeous Dior gown and Chopard jewels. Her red lip and side swept hair really pulled together her red carpet look — and it was stunning!

Amanda Seyfried exuded Hollywood glamour in a dramatic Zac Posen mermaid gown that put her svelte frame on full display. While it certainly doesn’t look easy to walk in she wowed the crowd in her gorgeous choice — and she wasn’t the only one!

Black gowns were everywhere on the Golden Globes red carpet and the same was true for the SAG Awards — talk about a major trend alert!

See who else stepped out, what other trends we spotted & VOTE for which look you liked best from the SAG Awards.
