'DWTS' Finale Recap: [Spoiler] Wins The Mirror Ball Trophy May 22nd 2013, 02:59 It’s all over! On the May 21 finale, Kellie, Jacoby, Zendaya and Aly went head to head for the mirror ball trophy, the full cast performed together, and a winner was crowned! It’s been ten weeks, thousands of sequins and a lot of tears, but season 16 of Dancing With the Stars is over! Kellie Pickler, Jacoby Jones, Aly Raisman and Zendaya danced for the last time on the May 21 finale, and one of them was awarded the glittering mirror ball trophy. And the winner is… Kellie! Kellie Pickler Wins ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Kellie and Derek won! Aly came in fourth place, Jacoby came in third place, and sadly Zendaya just missed out on the winning the trophy and finished in second place. On the first part of the two part finale, Kellie and Zendaya proved that they were the ones to beat, both scoring 30, so it is no shocker that Kellie won! Kellie Pickler Wins The Encore Dance Kellie and Derek Hough‘s freestyle dance on the first night of the finale was truly amazing, and it even moved Carrie Ann Inaba to tears! It would have been a robbery if anyone else got to dance the encore. Psy, Wynonna Judd & Pitbull Perform It was a night full of awesome performances, and not all were full of dancing! Psy proved that he is better — and wackier — than some of the professionals when he took to the floor to perform his new song “Gentleman.” And the judges even joined in! Former contestant Wynonna Judd did what she does best by singing a love song, while Pitbull wowed the crowd with his exotic number. All that was missing was maracas and sangria! American Idol contestant Jessica Sanchez sang her a special version of “Feel This Moment” and it was one of the highlights of the night! Instant Dance Jacoby and Karina Smirnoff did a salsa for their instant dance, and they scored 30 out of 30! Kellie and Derek danced a jive, and they also got a perfect score! Zendaya and Val Chmerkovskiy jived and it’s a hat trick — everyone got 30! The Full Cast All Dance Together Ingo Rademacher, Andy Dick, Sean Lowe, Dorothy Hamill, Victor Ortiz, Lisa Vanderpump, and D.L. Hughley all returned to dance one more time on the show, and it was really amazing! The whole group opened the show to Pitbull’s “Don’t Stop The Party,” and it was so cute to see them to them all together again. The best part was seeing Wynonna in her mall cop outfit. 'The Voice': Shakira's Confidence Not Enough To Save [Spoiler] May 22nd 2013, 02:18 And then there were eight. May 21 was a night full of amazing performances. However, two still had to be eliminated. Another one bites the dust on season four of The Voice. While Adam Levine and Shakira were confident in their teams making it through, Blake Shelton and Usher both admitted they were nervous. So, who made the cut? ‘The Voice’ Gets Surprise Visits The show began with a tribute to those affected by the horrific tornado in Oklahoma. Blake took the stage to perform “Over You,” a song he wrote and wife Miranda Lambert released. She even joined him to sing the emotional song. Shakira and Usher also took the stage on the results show. Shakira and her team performed “Stand By You.” However, we’re not quite sure how she was doing standing of any kind in those sparkly boots, but she looked and sounded amazing. Usher and his team also performed on the show, taking on “The Look of Love.” Somehow, the women in the audience managed to (somewhat) stay quiet enough to let us hear Usher, Josiah Hawley and Michelle Chamuel. However, the most surprising appearance was from Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez.  While we were disappointed Vin didn’t rock out to Rihanna again, he did promote Fast and Furious 6 and invited everyone there to the LA premiere. Top 8 Are Revealed Of course Carson Daly  had us on the edge of our seats during the whole show, leaving one contestant from each team standing before the final eliminations. Josiah Hawley (Team Usher), The Swon Brothers (Team Blake), Amber Carrington (Team Adam) and Kris Thomas (Team Shakira) all waited to hear their fate — two were safe, and two were heading home. After the final results were read … Amber and   moved on to the top 8! Unfortunately, it was the end of the road for Kris and Josiah. That means Adam and Blake both kept all three of their contestants, while Shakira and Usher lost another team member, and are down to one each! Carmen Electra is officially re-entering the music business — and she isn’t coming quietly. Following the release of her 2012 single “I Like It Loud,” the iconic star is back with “Bigger D**k,” a provocative new jam that celebrates strong women. And their ‘metaphorical’ dongs. “It’s a pretty bold way of getting my point across,” Carmen admits to HollywoodLife.com, “but after spending time in the studio with my girls, I just thought it would make for a really fun song. … And the response has been very interesting. People want to know what it means!” Though most people know Carmen by her endless IMDB credits — she starred on Baywatch and appeared in the Scary Movie franchise, among about a million other projects – you might be surprised to learn that performing with music has always been her main passion! “My mom was a singer in a band, my dad played guitar and my brother is a drummer,” she recalls. “There was always equipment [in our house.] Mainly, my focus in music was dance. First Photos Of Missing Children After Oklahoma Tornado Tragedy Revealed May 21st 2013, 21:19 Parents continue to desperately search for their precious missing children after a two-mile wide tornado destroyed an elementary school in Moore, Okla. on May 20. Seven kids have died, and as many as two dozen people are still missing. As Moore, Okla. mourns the devastating aftermath of the category EF5 tornado that ripped through the city and killed 24 people, some frantic parents continue to search for their missing children amid the rubble and chaos. The deadly twister, which was on the ground for 40 minutes, slammed into Plaza Towers Elementary School — and seven children are confirmed dead. Oklahoma Tornado Missing Kids: First Photos Released Janae Hornsby, 9, is one of the children from Plaza Towers Elementary school who is missing, but her parents fear their precious girl is dead. In a desperate attempt to recover Janae, the little girl’s dad and grandmother shared photos of her on Facebook, and said she “always has a smile on her face.” Kyle Davis and Sydney Angle, two students at Plaza Towers Elementary School, are also still missing following the devastating tornado that flattened the school on the afternoon of May 20. Kyle’s parents shared photos of their son on Facebook in an effort to locate him. Heroic Teacher Saves 6 Students From Oklahoma Tornado Although seven children have been confirmed dead and more kids are missing, one teacher at Plaza Towers made the ultimate sacrifice when she laid across six children to protect them. She used her body as a shield from the horrible destruction, and ended up saving the young lives — what a hero! Two Elementary Schools Flattened By Oklahoma Tornado On May 20, after the deadly tornado ripped through the suburbs of Oklahoma City, rescuers discovered the bodies of seven children in the basement of the school. The kids are believed to have drowned after water pipes burst during the storm, and flooded the basement. Right before the storm hit at 3 p.m., around 30 children — 4th, 5th, and 6th graders — were taken from their school to a nearby church for shelter. A reporter asked a medic about the injuries at the elementary school, but the medic “just shook his head.” Such a tragedy. We hope more children are rescued from the rubble, and that the missing children are found safe.
