There’s no doubt Katy Perry‘s got the eye of the tiger right now! The “Roar” singer released the amazing album cover for Prism — and it might just be her best one yet.
Katy Perry Releases New ‘Prism’ Album Cover On ‘GMA’
Katy had a big announcement to make on Good Morning America on Sept. 6: The reveal of her album cover. On the cover, Katy looks flawless (as always) as she stands in what looks like a beautiful field of flowers. Of course, you can’t forget about that nifty Instagram-looking filter that makes it that much better. It definitely has a very California-feel to it (even though she revealed that she shot the cover in Upstate New York).

On Sept. 5, the music video for Katy’s current chart-topper hit the web — and it was just as good as we expected. Though Katy’s videos are all entertaining, “Roar” has a much more cinematic feel than her previous ones, as Katy is joined by a few animal co-stars. It’s like Katy turned back the hands of time and joined forces with The Lion King!

“Roar” has been pretty much everywhere lately. To close out the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 25, Katy, 28, performed the song at the Brooklyn Bridge in a boxing ring, dressed up as a boxer. She wore boxing shorts and gloves for her performance, where she and her dancers jumped, skipped and danced as she sang the song about being a fighter.
Katy said that "Roar" is "a song about speaking up for yourself because there was a time in my life I didn't stand for anything, so I fell for everything … Sometimes you can feel burdened by people or a thing or a relationship and it causes you to go inside yourself versus say 'Hey! No, this isn't okay.' So it has been very therapeutic writing these songs. I'm getting myself stronger."
