Lindsay is headed to Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, Calif., on May 2 and HollywoodLife.com spoke to Lindsay’s dad Michael Lohan who tells us that it’s a huge mistake for her to go there. Read on to find out why.
Lindsay Lohan is about to enter rehab for 90 days in sunny California but her dad Michael Lohan believes that Lindsay has chosen the wrong facility to help her beat her addictions.
Lindsay Heading To Rehab In California
Lindsay is about to enter her 90-day-stint in rehab and E! News is reporting that she’ll be checking into Morningside Recovery. She was supposed to go there in 2010 but instead when to UCLA’s Medical Center and then Betty Ford.
She is expected to be there for her court ordered rehab.
Lindsay’s Dad Thinks Morningside Is A Mistake
HollywoodLife.com spoke to Lindsay’s dad who tells us that the best treatment would be for her to go to The Lukens Institue in Palm Beach, Florida.
“Lindsay has communicated to me and even the owners and clinicians at The Lukens Institute in Palm Beach that she wants to go there,” Michael tell us. “But Mark Heller [Lindsay's attorney] cut a deal to get a referral fee if she goes to Morningside in Newport Beach. Ironically, the same rehab who has had mutiple legal issues and even leaked that she was going there about a year ago but never did. Although the City Attorney will allow Lindsay to go to Lukens, Mark lied to her and said she she is not approved. Why? Because Lukens doesn’t pay off people like Morningside does! If Lindsay wants real treatment and the best treatment, she will go to Lukens like she wants.”
Wow, well it definitely appears that Lindsay doesn’t have much time to change things up. She posted a picture of herself on Instagram with the caption ”90 days and 270 looks” while surrounded by clothes. But unfortunately, Morningside only allows seven outfits per patient.
We told you that Lindsay was sentenced to 90 days of rehab and 30 days of community service. This all stemmed from Lindsay lying to police, claiming she wasn't driving during a June 2012 car accident.
