The host of the evening looked better than ever on Sept. 4 at the 10th Annual Style Awards. Once again, she showed that she can stand out in anything, and really is a fashion star herself!
Talk about stealing the show! Nicole Richie looked ravishing on the red carpet at The Theatre at Lincoln Center where the Style Awards kicked off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. If one person can make a crop top look classy and fancy, it’s Nicole!
Nicole Richie’s Style Awards Pant Suit
For the second year in a row, Nicole stunned in black on the red carpet.
This year, she chose a black two-piece outfit. The top of the suit was a long-sleeved black studded crop top. She paired it with a black trouser that included a studded belt.
The bottom of the pant was cropped perfectly to show off her gorgeous strappy black pumps!
Looking stunning, Nicole wore her hair down, sleek and straight, and kept her makeup simple and nude — really letting her unique outfit shine!
Nicole Richie: ‘Fashion Is A Form Of Self Expression’
“I shop at more expensive stores and I also shop at thrift stores,” she told People magazine in March 2012. “Most of my vintage T-shirts and peasant dresses, they're like $10. There's not a specific store that I go to or any label that I'm obsessed with buying. Fashion is a form of self expression and it's really about how an article of clothing makes you feel. If I like a dress that I'm wearing, I will wear it until it's falling off of me and someone's like, ‘You've got to take off that dress.’”
It seems that black makes her feel pretty good — and it looks great, too!
Last year, Nicole wore a short sexy black dress by Anthony Vaccarello dress with Costume National pointed toe heels, a clutch by Edie Parker 'Lara' and of course, skull studs by House of Harlow.
