A fire broke out at Liam’s London apartment on Sept. 2 and his friend was raced to the hospital after trying to put it out! This is so scary and we’re hoping he’s okay!
Liam Payne was cooking in his kitchen on Sept. 2 when a fire erupted on his terrace. His friend was reportedly near the fire when it happened and he suffered burns on his upper body. Liam had to call an ambulance and he rode with him to the hospital.

Liam was home with his friend, when a fire broke out on his balcony. His friend was reportedly trying to “refuel” an outdoor heater when the fire started.
By the time Liam came to help his friend it was too late, he was already badly burned. His friend was raced to the hospital and remains there recovering from second-degree burns.
Liam Payne Celebrates His Birthday With Sophia Smith
Liam and Sophia Smith were spotted arriving at the nightclub Funky Buddha in London on Aug. 29 hand-in-hand. Liam’s birthday suit (don’t get any funny ideas) consisted of a black football jersey, black pants, and a black snapback hat, while Sophia wore a gorgeous satin mustard jumpsuit for the big night.
Besides holding hands, Liam and Sophia were adorably caught hugging and wrapping their arms around each other frequently. The couple reportedly partied at the London hotspot until about 3:30 in the morning.
It certainly appeared that Liam got everything he wanted — specifically Sophia — for his birthday, as the 1D’er couldn’t wipe the wide smile off his face the whole night, according to Mail Online.

Liam and Sophia’s relationship was revealed on Aug. 19 and two days later the new couple walked the red carpet together at the London premiere of This Is Us. The 1D singer has revealed he likes Sophia, who was Liam’s childhood crush who reportedly denied him over 20 times, because she is “an easygoing girl,” and he hasn’t been afraid to defend her against Directioner criticism.
“Always sad to get on here to read horrible stuff about someone you care about," he tweeted shortly after 1D fans bashed her on Aug. 21. He followed up that tweet with another that read: "There is that old saying tho if you ain't got sh*t nice to say then f**k you.”
