Miranda Cosgrove attended the LA premiere of her new movie, Despicable Me 2, at CityWalk in Universal City on June 22. The star plays Margo, the oldest and most sensible child, in the flick and the role shows that she is growing up and really becoming comfortable in her own skin. The young star flaunted a sexier-than-normal dress, which showed off a little more skin than we’re used to seeing from the star!
Miranda Cosgrove ‘Despicable Me 2′ Premiere Dress:
Miranda surprised everyone as she took the carpet for her new movie premiere. Rocking a cobalt blue get-up, the young singer and actress revealed her mature, sexier side in a Three Floor dress which featured a peplum skirt and a black leather waist band. A keyhole cutout at the center allowed her to show some skin but was still totally appropriate for the occasion. This dress appears to be strapless, however the bow-shaped top is connected to a mesh neckline giving her a little extra support. It’s clear that Miranda played it safe in order to be sure that the dress doesn’t slip!
Although the starlet’s blue, black and gold wardrobe makes a bold statement, there is something to be said about her accessories. She exudes maturity with her Saint Laurent patent leather pumps and her chic Jimmy Choo clutch, both accented with the bold, blue color of her dress. The piece that draws the outfit together would be her gold House of Lavande cuff on her right wrist, ultimately tying in the gold piece in the center of the dress.
Her mature and sophisticated outfit was overall well-planned and worn with confidence. Her simple, wavy hair is up-to-date with the latest trend– ombré! Her makeup shows a more youthful side as she rocked a pink lip and a simple, yet glowing, eye. The former Nickolodeon star is becoming progressively trendy and mature as her career heightens.
