Ian Somerhalder Vs. Liam Hemsworth: Who's Sexiest At YHAs? Aug 1st 2013, 14:10, by Andrew Gruttadaro Liam has been holding the title (that we made up) of the sexiest star to grace the Young Hollywood Awards stage since 2010, but he’s got some fierce competition in 2013, particularly in the form of a certain ‘Vampire Diaries’ stud. So who do YOU think is the hottest YHA star of all time? We’ve waited long enough — finally, on August 1 the Young Hollywood Awards will take center stage featuring some of our favorite stars like Selena Gomez, Bella Thorne, and of course Ian Somerhalder. Speaking of Ian, we might be most excited about the YHAs because we get to rev up our debate of who the hottest stud in the award show’s history is! Liam Hemsworth: Is He YHA’s Sexiest Stud? With The Vampire Diaries star set to present an award during the ceremony, we’ve got a huge matchup to determine the sexiest star in Young Hollywood Awards history — Ian Somerhalder versus Liam Hemsworth, who won Breakthrough of the Year in 2010. There’s no doubt that Liam deserved the award that year after stealing our (and Miley Cyrus’) hearts as the lead in The Last Song. He was that cute, quiet, Australian guy next door that we’d always dreamed of. And it definitely didn’t hurt that he ended up being totally ripped. We haven’t had a bigger YHA crush since then, but could all be about to change. Or Is It Ian Somerhalder? That’s all thanks to Ian. The Vampire Diaries star has been at the top of his game recently — and he’s been looking it too — and TVD’s Damon has never been hotter. If only he was still in the running to play Christian Grey, right? Either way Ian looks to be a real favorite to win our affection at the 2013 Young Hollywood Awards. Kate Hudson does it again! The 34-year-old actress is always dressed to the nines in outfits that look like they were made for her! This time, at the premiere of her new HBO film Clear History in LA on July 31, Kate opted for a blue mini dress that showed off her amazing legs! While the hemline might have been short, it was balanced out by the top of the frock — and she looked totally amazing! Kate Hudson’s ‘Clear History’ Premiere Dress: Kate, who usually wows us in stunning gowns that have open backs, cut-outs and pretty much anything long, sleek and sexy, switched things up in a Balmain Resort 2014 blue denim embroidered dress. The dress went perfectly with her gorgeous bluish/green eyes and the length showed off her toned legs and fab body! The denim dress has all different patterns including embroidery and embellishments on it — it truly is a work of art! Kate opted for minimal makeup and let her hair air-dry into her signature wavy gold locks! She topped the whole look off with a gorgeous metallic silver box clutch and a pair of nude, closed-toe suede pumps. This isn’t the first time we have seen this Balmain pattern on the red carpet. "I was just having fun with it and just show love,” he says. “Bring some excitement for my fans and connect with the record. I just wanted to tap into the emotion of the record and really spread a message. I was joking with it and having fun. We be so busy making these big hits and I wanted to come with a dope plan to present the next smash single besides just giving it out."
