Liam has been holding the title (that we made up) of the sexiest star to grace the Young Hollywood Awards stage since 2010, but he’s got some fierce competition in 2013, particularly in the form of a certain ‘Vampire Diaries’ stud. So who do YOU think is the hottest YHA star of all time?
We’ve waited long enough — finally, on August 1 the Young Hollywood Awards will take center stage featuring some of our favorite stars like Selena Gomez, Bella Thorne, and of course Ian Somerhalder. Speaking of Ian, we might be most excited about the YHAs because we get to rev up our debate of who the hottest stud in the award show’s history is!
Liam Hemsworth: Is He YHA’s Sexiest Stud?
With The Vampire Diaries star set to present an award during the ceremony, we’ve got a huge matchup to determine the sexiest star in Young Hollywood Awards history — Ian Somerhalder versus Liam Hemsworth, who won Breakthrough of the Year in 2010.
There’s no doubt that Liam deserved the award that year after stealing our (and Miley Cyrus’) hearts as the lead in The Last Song. He was that cute, quiet, Australian guy next door that we’d always dreamed of. And it definitely didn’t hurt that he ended up being totally ripped.
We haven’t had a bigger YHA crush since then, but could all be about to change.

That’s all thanks to Ian. The Vampire Diaries star has been at the top of his game recently — and he’s been looking it too — and TVD’s Damon has never been hotter. If only he was still in the running to play Christian Grey, right?
Either way Ian looks to be a real favorite to win our affection at the 2013 Young Hollywood Awards.
