Lea has done a complete 180! After previously being unable to leave her house following the death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith, Lea is already back on the set of ‘Glee,’ and has admitted that she ‘missed’ her character Rachel. But, is she back to work too soon?

Lea Michele has just gone through the hardest weeks of her life, but less than three weeks after losing the love of her life, Cory Monteithshe is already beginning work on Glee. On August 1, Lea tweeted that she was beginning work on season five, and while it is amazing to see her so positive, it seems so soon for her to be back at work on the show where they fell in love. Read on for all the details.

Lea Michele Back On ‘Glee’ Set After Cory Monteith’s Death

Lea, 26, is positively inspiring. Since her co-star and boyfriend Cory, 31, was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room on July 13, she was in total silence and barely leaving her home. After Naya Rivera broke the news that Glee would resume on August 5, fans wondered if Lea would be ready to return so soon, but she went back even sooner!

“First day of glee today..And at my first wardrobe fitting for Rachel Berry for Season Five! I’ve missed her so much❤” tweeted Lea on August 1, showing that she is remaining upbeat.

This is her second positive tweet, as on July 31 she wrote, ”Spending the day surrounded by great friends.. Hope you all are having a good day.. Sending lots of love to you all..”

She also thanked her many, many Glee fans for their support, and she remembered Cory with a touching picture.

“Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support,” the star tweeted to her 3.5 million+ followers July 29. “Cory will forever be in my heart.”

While it is great to see Lea throwing herself into work, and being excited to step into Rachel Berry’s shoes, this is so soon for her to being work.

Lea Michele Wants To Stay Secluded

HollywoodLife.com previously reported that Lea was so upset that she could not leave her bed, let alone her house.

“She doesn’t even want to leave the house,” a source tells Us Weekly.

Though Lea did not want to leave the house, one friend convinced her to step out for a couple hours on July 28.

Lea Michele Wears Cory Monteith Necklace In First Photo Since His Death

Lea was photographed for the first time since Cory’s death on July 28, and she was wearing a silver necklace with letters spelling out “Cory.”

She was seen travelling in the passenger seat of a female friend's car to an address in Bel Air, and she looked solemn but calm in a dark shirt and big sunglasses.

Perhaps returning to Glee is the best thing for Lea, even if she will have to relive her pain when Cory’s character Finn dies. However, HollywoodLife.com broke the news that Lea feels “safe” with her Glee family.

Lea Michele Returning To 'Glee' After Cory Monteith's Death

HollywoodLife.com exclusively learned that the show's creator Ryan Murphy is allowing Lea to decide how Cory's character Finn exits the show, and that she is returning to the show because she wants "some semblance of a normal life."

We learned that she would not leave the show, because it is what she and Cory did together, and the producers are being most sensitive as to what she wants. A source close to show told us:

Lea will sign off on everything Ryan brings up to her before something is filmed. Ideas have been thrown around, and one of the reasons to wait to address the death is so the cast can heal a bit and they can also go through every possible idea to make it as poignant and respectable and good for the show as possible.

Lea is so mature. She is also so selfless, because she knows that if the show does not go on, many crew members will be out of work.

Lea knows how to be a professional and she knows many of the cast needs the money so she is ready to get back and get back some semblance of a normal life. She feels that she'll be safe in the environment of work with her cast and crew of friends.

We can’t imagine what Lea is going through. We can only hope that she finds comfort in her co-stars when she returns to work.

What do YOU think HollywoodLifers? Are you glad Lea is returning to work, or do you think it is too soon?
