Out for the first time since the news broke, Simon isn’t exactly denying anything! Simon Cowell, 53, is reportedly expecting a child with New York City socialite — and his best friend’s wife! — Lauren Silverman. When explicitly asked by reporters whether or not the reports were true, Simon kept mum, but teased the cameras with a smug smile! Lauren Silverman Pregnant: Simon Cowell Reacts To Reports In a new paparazzi video, Simon is shown leaving the X Factor US studios in Los Angeles in the early morning on August 1. “Simon, congratulations! Are the rumors true?” yells an unseen reporter on the video. Typically private about his personal life, Simon keeps expectedly quiet when faced with reporters’ questions about the pregnancy — but gives the camera a sly smile to photographers as he ducks into his car. Simon is “freaked out” by the news of impending fatherhood, reports The Daily Mail. And, judging by his face, he surely wasn’t ready for the paparazzi’s curiosity as he exited the X Factor studios! Simon Cowell Expecting Baby With Lauren Silverman Divorce papers have already been filed between Lauren, 36, and her husband Andrew Silverman — real estate developer and long time personal friend of Simon’s! "Lauren and Andrew have been unhappy in their marriage for some time, and their divorce has been in the works for a while. As their marriage deteriorated, she and Simon became close," reports Us Weekly.
