Lea Michele Back On ‘Glee’ Set After Cory Monteith’s Death

After Naya Rivera broke the news that Glee would resume on August 5, fans wondered if Lea would be ready to return so soon, but she went back even sooner!

“First day of glee today..And at my first wardrobe fitting for Rachel Berry for Season Five! I’ve missed her so much❤” tweeted Lea on August 1, showing that she is remaining upbeat.

This is her second positive tweet, as on July 31 she wrote, ”Spending the day surrounded by great friends.. Hope you all are having a good day.. Sending lots of love to you all..”

She also thanked her many, many Glee fans for their support, and she remembered Cory with a touching picture.

Lea Michele Returning To 'Glee' After Cory Monteith's Death

HollywoodLife.com exclusively learned that Ryan is allowing Lea to decide how Cory's character Finn exits the show, and that she is returning to the show because she wants "some semblance of a normal life."

A source close to show told us:

Lea will sign off on everything Ryan brings up to her before something is filmed. Ideas have been thrown around, and one of the reasons to wait to address the death is so the cast can heal a bit and they can also go through every possible idea to make it as poignant and respectable and good for the show as possible.

We are glad to hear that Lea is doing so well.
