When it was first announced that Jennifer Lawrence would be the face of Miss Dior for Spring 2013 we could hardly contain our excitement — and the campaign is better than we could have ever imagined! The 22-year-old shows off a high-fashion side that we’ve never seen before and pulls it off flawlessly — she’s such a natural in front of the camera!
Jennifer was captured by famed photog Willy Vanderperre and was styled by Olivier Rizzo for the shoot, in which she flaunts a slew of styles of the chain-link Miss Dior handbag while looking sexy and chic in the Spring 2013 ready-to-wear collection designed by Raf Simons.
The stylish star first broke onto the scene on the red carpet while promoting her indie flick Winter’s Bone back in 2011, and her style sense continues to evolve. Not only is the award-winning actress working with infamous stylist Rachel Zoe, but she has also landed her first campaign — and Dior is a perfect fit for the star!
The new face of Miss Dior looks simply stunning in the campaign — and the fact that the ads were released right before the Oscars is perfect timing for the nominee. Whether she’s on the big screen or the red carpet the star is certainly unstoppable these days.
The Hunger Games star is in good company, joining the likes of Mila Kunis and Marion Cotillard who have also fronted campaigns for Miss Dior. Marion, who has appeared in campaigns for the Lady Dior bag since '08, is set to continue her work with the fashion house.
