HollywoodLife.com spoke to CBS who tells us that the outfits at the Feb. 10 Grammy Awards ‘passed.’ Are you surprised that certain celebs’ choices weren’t against CBS’ policy?

Skimpy outfits were few and far between at the Grammys, but some of our favorite stars did everything they could to push the envelope. HollywoodLife.com spoke with CBS who tells us that stars like Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Rowland, and Alicia Keys boobs and legs were still up to code.

CBS’ Statement To HollywoodLife.com

We spoke to CBS following the Grammys and they told us: “All wardrobe selections passed our standards, if only barely.” That means that Alicia’s underboob, Katie’s cleavage, Jennifer’s leg, and Kelly’s plunging neckline were okay? Then what was all the fuss about?

The Grammys Wardrobe Ban

We told you that the Grammys issued a wardrobe advisory for their 2013 show. Celebs spoke out to HollywoodLife.com about the ban and were shocked.

Project Runway‘s Nina Garcia told us: “It's ridiculous, and I'm confused. They want to censor how creative artists dress? If the networks want to act like 'big brother', then they should also have more responsible programming in general.”

Kristin Chenoweth couldn’t believe it either and wanted singers to rebel, and they did!

“Didn't the network know what they signed up or — it's The Grammys. I think we'll see singers rebel! I'd be disappointed if they don't. If I had Rihanna's body I wouldn't keep my clothes on either!”

Here’s what the original statement said: “Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered. Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic.”

Are you surprised that these ladies made the cut?
