Michelle Obama’s official portrait for 2013 was released on Feb. 20 by The White House and everyone is still talking about her new ‘do — and those fab bangs! What do YOU think of the photo?
First Lady Michelle Obama looks stunning in her official portrait to commemorate her husband, President Barack Obama, and his second term. In 2009, everyone was focused on her bare arms, now everyone is talking about her hair!
In the photo, Michelle is wearing a chic and trendy navy dress. Her jewelry is classic and timeless — pearls around her neck and her wedding ring on full display. She wore a double strand of pearls in her 2009 portrait.
Her brows are immaculately groomed and her skin looks smooth and flawless. Michelle is wearing thick black eyeliner around her entire eye and a light grey-brown eyeshadow. Black mascara accentuates her eyelashes. Pink lip gloss gives her lips shine and brings the focus to her amazing smile! She also has a pale pink manicure.
The photo was taken by Chuck Kennedy in the Green Room of the White House.
Michelle Obama Talks About Her Bangs
Michelle recently video chatted on Rachael Ray‘s talk show and joked, ”This is my mid-life crisis, the bangs. I couldn’t get a sports car. They won’t let me bungee jump. So instead, I cut my bangs.”
Michelle first debuted her bangs on Twitter on Jan. 17, her 49th birthday.
President Obama is a fan of her recent cut, as he told USA Today, “To address the most significant event of the weekend, I love her bangs. She looks good. She always looks good.”
