Vince Neil: Motley Crue Rocker Hospitalized For Kidney Stones Mar 10th 2013, 22:27 Kidney stones forced Motley Crue rocker Vince Neil to cut a Sydney, Australia show short on March 10. Vince Neil checked himself into a hospital on March 10 due to kidney stones, his manager reports. Allen Kovac, Motley Crue’s manager, tells CNN, “He has been having problems for the last few days with kidney stones. He was treated at the hospital after the show. It’s the middle of the night there, and we will know more later.” Neil, 52, will be kept in the hospital overnight for observation. “Vince is a warrior, who has played shows through a wide ranging list of injuries. If there is a way to safely perform, he always does,” Allen said. “In nearly 20 years of managing Motley Crue, I can’t recall a show the band has canceled.” Guitarist Nikki Sixx apologized to fans on Twitter, saying, “Sorry Sydney for a short set tonight but Vince had to be rushed to the hospital for internal pain. Will update you on his progress.” Guitarist Mick Mars tweeted as well, saying, ”Vince had an attack of kidney stones. He went straight from stage to hospital.” Motley Crue is scheduled to play in Brisbane on March 12. So far, the show has not been cancelled or postponed. We wish Vince a fast and safe recovery!
