A photo of Jay-Z and Drake in the studio has prompted speculation that the two may be collaborating on music together. Has Jay-Z picked a side in the long-standing Chris and Drake feud?
After teaming up with Justin Timberlake for “Suit & Tie”, Jay-Z is now allegedly working with Drake on some new music!

The photo, of the two superstars in the studio together, was posted by producer Lenny S. Under the photo, he wrote: “Warning: Please be very afraid of the music we’re working on. OVO x ROCNATION.”
It’s unknown where the potential music will end up, but signs are pointing toward Jay’s new LP. His last solo album, The Blueprint 3, was released in 2009. However, Drake is also working on a new album, so we’ll have to wait and see.
Jay-Z and Drake have worked together in the past on “Light Up” off Drake’s debut album Thank Me Later. (Watch the video below.)
Jay-Z: Is He Dissing Chris Brown?
Drake and Chris Brown wouldn’t exactly be considered friends. And now that Jay-Z is working with Drake, it appears as though he’s possibly chosen a side in the long-running feud.
"[Chris and I] have an issue and it's either gonna drag out or maybe in ten years we'll laugh about it over drinks, just let us solve that s***," Drake recently told "Keep It Thoro's" host Elliot Wilson when he made an appearance on EastVillageRadio.com's show on April 12.
Chris and Drake’s rivalry allegedly started over Rihanna — both singers were romantically linked to the “Awake” singer at one point or another.
Here’s how Jay-Z is connected — he’s been a mentor to Rihanna for quite some time. In February 2005, RiRi signed a record deal with Def Jam Recordings after auditioning in front of CEO Jay-Z. He’s been a leading force throughout her career ever since. And Jay was allegedly not a fan of Rihanna reuniting with Chris after he assaulted her in February 2009.
Jay appears to be taking sides!
