After an eventful and busy night for Selena and Justin apart, they were finally reunited backstage at the Billboard Music Awards on May 19. And judging by their passionate hugs and kisses, the couple totally missed each other! The only one who didn’t approve of all the PDA action was Taylor Swift, who was caught sticking her tongue out in disgust while Justin and Selena smooched. Watch below!
For a long, long time it seemed like Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber would not make an appearance together at the Billboard Music Awards on May 19. They didn’t walk the carpet together, they didn’t perform together, they didn’t even sit together like we thought they would! But they couldn’t avoid each other all night, and finally embraced passionately backstage after the show!

After a night apart, Selena and Justin bumped into each other behind the scenes backstage, and Selena was caught wrapping her arm around Justin and tenderly kissing him on the cheek.
It looked like a very private, intimate moment for the couple — who seemed to make a concerted effort to not be seen together all night — only Billboard.com’s backstage online feed caught the whole thing!
Selena’s kiss is full of withheld passion, you can tell it’s not just a peck between old friends. And after she planted one on Justin, he appeared to try to bring her in for a kiss on the lips! However Selena controlled herself, and playfully pinched the Biebs on the cheek.
Taylor Swift Does Not Approve Of Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber’s Reunion
The whole thing was adorable, but it was apparently so sweet it almost made Selena’s BFF Taylor Swift sick. Following Selena’s kiss, Taylor was caught sticking her tongue out in disapproval. How do you think T-Swift, a girl who knows a thing or two about breakups, feels about Selena potentially getting back together with Justin?
Charity Lynne Baroni, the redheaded friend with Taylor and Selena then tried to pull the 20-year-old singer away from Justin, but she hung on for another hug and a few more whispered goodbyes.
Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez: Avoiding Each Other At The Billboard Awards?
After Justin realized he was being filmed, he desperately tried to shoo away all the cameras. He and Selena seemed to be trying to keep their reunion under wraps on May 19. They were set to sit next to each other at the awards show, and we were totally crestfallen to see Selena only sitting next to Taylor, Ed Sheeran, and Charity Lynne.
We had also hoped that Justin and Selena might walk the blue carpet and make their first official appearance together since reuniting in April. Alas, they walked the carpet separately, and until the backstage cameras caught them, they had not been photographed together all night.
We were afraid something might have gone wrong for the couple, who had a romantic date night out in Las Vegas on May 18 — those fears turned out to be temporary.
