First comes love, then comes baby, THEN comes the wedding? For many of the stars of Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2, their plans at happily-ever-after weren’t exactly conventional, but they managed to find love despite all the hardships!
Kailyn Lowell Marries Javi Marroquin In Courthouse Ceremony
Even though Kailyn Lowell welcomed her first child in high school, son Isaac Rivera, with her boyfriend Jo Rivera, the couple only lasted through their baby’s first months of life. After about a couple years of on-and-off dating, the two finally called it quits when Jo started seeing a girl named Vee Torress — and Kailyn met an aborable Air Force man named Javi Marroquin.
After less than a year of dating, Javi and Kailyn tied the knot in a small courthouse ceremony in September 2012, and are planning a bigger wedding later this year! Javi seems like a perfect stepdad to Isaac and loves him like his own son — and the Teen Mom 2 star and her Air Force beau are expecting a baby of their own this fall! How amazing!
Leah Messer Marries Corey Simms & Jeremy Calvert
While Kailyn didn’t get married to her baby daddy, Leah Messer tried to make things work with the father of her twin daughters, Corey Simms. The two wed in March 2011, with 1-year-old twins Ali and Aleeah serving as adorable flower girls! However, relationship problems — including Corey wanting to buy a new truck instead of a house and Leah hooking up with her ex-boyfriend — led the two to call it quits about a year later.
It didn’t take long for Leah to move on. Just a few months after her divorce, Leah met Jeremy Calvert — and the two got married in April 2012! Now, the couple has been married for more than a year, and even welcomed their own daughter together Adalynn on Feb. 4!
Although some of the Teen Mom stars managed to find what looks to be their happily ever afters — Corey Simms married Miranda Patterson on June 7 — some are still hung up in bad marriages. Jenelle Evans is still legally married to Courtland Rogers, and won’t be allowed to divorce until a year afte their separation.
