It looks like the ‘Teen Mom’ star will have to wait even longer until her estranged husband faces the assault charges she placed on him because Courtland failed to show up to his court on Feb. 18th!
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, 21, filed assault charges against estranged husband, Courtland Rogers, 27 on Jan. 23 — and Courtland was supposed to be in court on Feb. 20, but never showed! Now, Jenelle reportedly believes that he is on the run from the law.
“Mr. Rogers did not appear in court,” a Brunswick County Court official told RadarOnline.com. “He has not yet been served with the papers from the charges that were filed by Jenelle, and there are warrants out for his arrest.”
The official then said that Courtland needs to be served with papers regarding the charges by the county Sheriff, and then a bond will be set for him.
“Jenelle wants him to man up and show up in court! She thinks he's on the run, and that he's never going to face the charges,” a close to the reality star tells RadarOnline.com. “She is so mad at him right now.”
Courtland Tweets To Jenelle About Charges
“@PBandJenelley_1 are u fu****** kidding me? you took fake charges out on me and now u are the queen? u destroyed my life n u laugh about it?” the wanted man tweeted to his ex Feb. 19.
“I am done with twitter yalll believe that stupid girl that is bi-polar as fu** and lies more than anyone i know? smh @PBandJenelley_1,” Courtland added.
But Courtland didn’t hold up that promise — he returned to tweeting later that day.
Courtland’s Other Legal Trouble
Courtland’s baby mama, Taylor Lewis, is also planning to take him back to court for child support.
"Courtland has had a year to pay the child support for his daughter, JaJa, but he doesn't have a job. His dad has been paying it but he is going to stop now and Taylor is going to have to go to court to get him to pay up!" another source told RadarOnline.com.
