Now that K-Stew’s done with ‘Twilight,’ she says she’s done playing teenybopper roles! Keep reading to see what kind of sexy new challenges Kristen wants to take on.

You could argue that Kristen Stewart has always played it safe in her movie roles. But she’s officially over that.

Kristen Stewart Wants To ‘Dig Deeper’

The Twilight megastar tells Us Weekly that her post-Bella Swan roles are going to take more chances and challenge her as an actress.

“I want to dig a little deeper,” Kristen says. She explains that throughout her career she’s always played characters that were more or less close to her own personality.

“I’ve played parts that are similar to me because I’m young,” Kristen explains. “I wanted to explore things that were [closer] to me.”

But that was then — Kristen is ready for new challenges.

K-Stew Is Already Challenging Herself

We’ve already seen examples of K-Stew expanding her boundaries as an actress.

Playing Marylou in the generational flick On The Road, Kristen bared it all in revealing love scenes. “You try to expose yourself in different ways in every film you do,” Kristen said about the movie. And she definitely exposed herself in more than one way.

Next up Kristen is starring in The Big Shoe with Jim Sturgess. In the movie, the 22-year-old actress plays a muse to a foot fetish-having shoe designer. Sounds juicy!

We suspect that these two roles are warmups for the path that Kristen wants to go down as an actress — more unique roles that strongly differ from her personality.

It’s all in an effort to push herself and shed away her Bella Swan image.

What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Do you think K-Stew wanting to “dig a little deeper” is a good idea? Let us know!
